An underwired t-shirt bra that doesn't show under tight shirts, fits comfortably and comes in nude so I can wear it with lighter clothes? This is it.
Usually bras' gores dig in fiercely on me and I know that the underwires are there, just... present all the time. With this one I had to feel to make sure this wasn't a wireless, it's that comfortable. The cups are molded and lightly padded, with the wires running through 3/4 of the cup. It definitely contours and lifts! The band is made of very thin material, and feels like a slightly thicker version of Calvin Klein's Perfectly Fit.
Like I ...expected, the band runs a size small like most Felina bras so the 32 fit perfectly on me. But - there is always a but - the straps are so, so far apart. If I extend my arms forward enough the straps will threaten to flip over. The wings are also pretty dang tall, and the cups maybe a touch wide... But does it negate the absolute comfort? Nah. I'm still keeping it. I should be fine wearing this with regular daily activity. Read more 84 more words
Band runs a size small as typical of many Felina bras. The straps are also on the shorter side- I could barely get it long enough. Where the strap connects to the band on the back is somewhat irritating because it protudes, but is negligible. The center seam does show through tight shirts but not looser ones. The inside of the band is mesh in the same material as the one covering the outside of the bra, which could be for increased breathability. Cup is somewhat padded, and the embroidery is flat enough not to cause bumps under clothes. Not overly fancy but has a touch of personality because of the embroidery. A keeper.
Gore is too high for me and digs in. I get wrinkles on the sides of the cups and on the top because I can't fill them out. straps are too wide and nearly at my armpits. The actual 1cm straps are overlaid with another layer of stiffer fabric with scalloped edges on the front.
This review is for the unlined version of the Priscilla. The band fits more like a 30 despite this being a 32. Cups are wider than I'd like, and I get the weird side wrinkle thing. Most noticeably after the gaping at the top of the cup, the gore is right against my sternum, ow. The embroidery is pretty, though! The thread of teh embroidery has a satiny sheen, and the ribbon at the gore has shiny gold trims. The fabric isn't scratchy as I feared, and the band and straps have a microfiber-ish, crushed velvet-like feel to it. Unusual but not unlikable.
The fabric on this feels very soft, but the tops of the cups where they connect with the straps can feel a bit rough on the inside (and look it, too.) Cups are narrow/average, which was nice.
My larger breast mostly fits, but the other one gets wrinkles on the outer top of the cup. Both cups have wrinkles in the middle where the lace meets normal fabric, especially around the nipples, as well as slight horizontal wrinkling at the bottoms of the cups. A possible size or depth issue?
The only strapless bra I've ever worn that doesn't ride down. I highly recommend it, but would size up to 32D if I were buying it again, because I have some quadboob in it. Great for shallow breasts.
Loved everything about this bra... the demi coverage was perfect for me, the spacer foam very thin and comfortable... except the band was too big. I toyed with the idea of altering it but ultimately sent it back.
Looks like it would be a super comfy and awesome bra if it were the right size. I totally blame the horrible sales clerk at the lingerie boutique who never once measured me while I was there.
It's too small for me. It might not be a problems since it's a softcup bra, but the underwires in the center sit on the breast tissue. They're also a bit too far apart for me, I think. Also: the straps aren't long enough for me, and they dig into my shoulders.
Another problem I have, and this is purely aesthetic, is that the layer of lace on the outside of the cup (the layer that gives it that gorgeous, effeminate touch) seems to be cut/sewn/fitted/whatever differently than the mesh layer underneath. It ends up looking wrinkly, and I don't care for that.
In summary: It's pretty, but not built for me and not to my tastes.
Thanks for the tip, Merial. Astonished to see that it comes in my size, 40C, am ordering one today.
