Another relic from a 'time capsule' packed away around 2010. Unclear if I used this style a lot or not, there's multiples of it and the tags are very cheap so its difficult to make anything out on them. Going to presume this was sufficient somewhere along the way until I found or cobbled together something better to slum about in. Mind that means this could've been a remarkably capable style as these were all unaltered and clearly washed enough to break in the mesh as well as fade the tags (some completely). Maybe retired due to breastfeeding, or moving from more public career to more ... physically active one. Who knows.
Despite there being nothing visually wrong, when handling this style I'm filled with a visceral disgust at these slender powernet bands which cannot be fully understood or explained. The strap placement is fantastic, the armscye beautifully low and curved. Even the gore is a modest affair for the depth provided.
Embroidered lace is not lumpy or itchy, and cup structure is pretty decent, appears to be immediately and overall well (not super) projected. The upper band isn't stretchy but they have very narrow felty elastic sewn into the top- unclear is this is just an open upper cup with 1 concession toward bottom full shapes?
But being completely unlined, there's only so much one can expect with this style.
On the whole it's far too small and flimsy to have done much besides provide evenly full boob space, and distracting boob decoration (look ma, no nips!). Maybe I put up with it as something to wear under 40 layers of sheer diaphanous silk as was my want at that time in life, and never noticed when it was out of sight (unlike la perla, chantelle & betsey johnson).
