I have shallow, moderately wide breasts that are conical in shape.
I bought this bra at the same time I purchased the Figleaves Boudoir Tease Silk And Lace A-g Demi Bra (FIG-122137), and their shapes are pretty much identical. Unfortunately, I have many of the same complaints for this one as I did that one.
The first is that the straps are too wide for me. They feel like they're just going to slip right off my shoulders. And while having the silk straps is really nice feeling, it just facilitates the slippage of the straps. In addition, the straps are only partially adjustable ... and do not adjust short enough for me.
Worth noting is that the cups are completely lined with silk. It feels so so so good. Unfortunately, the quality of sewing isn't great. The silk on both the inside and the outside of the cups is kind of baggy, and there's some odd puckering at the seams. It's not incredibly flattering. (But did I mention how good the silk cups feel?) The cups are moderately padded. Not as much as, say, the Lepel Fiore Plunge (93200), but moreso than the Freya padded half cups.
The band is stiff and runs a little small, which is nice. I'd prefer to be in a 28 band for most bras, but this 30 band works out okay for me. And as an aside, this seems to be fairly constant between all of Figleaves' padded bras across all their brands.
Overall, I'm a little underwhelmed by the bra. It looks and feels so pretty, but it also looks and feels cheap. The bra retailed at $71, and I would have been disappointed if I'd paid that much for it. However, I paid $28 for it, and I think that's an appropriate price for this bra. I wish this one worked for me!
