Bra is still new - this is my first wearing. The bra is from May/June of 2011 - after the "amazing new fit" around that time.
This bra is designed to mimic the Fantasie smoothing bra, the non-stiff-cup version (number 4250). My initial reaction is that it's an obvious copy, and not necessarily a bad one. There need to be more of this style of bra - a soft, smooth, unseamed cup. The Fantasie version only comes down to a 30 band, which when new fits my chest on the tightest hook, and quickly becomes too loose. The good news about this FigLeaves version is even though it's also ... only a 30 band, it's a tighter "30". I'm wearing the bra on the longest/loosest hook, and it's tight enough. This suggests the bra will still work once broken in. That's definitely a plus.
An immediate negative, at least for me, is that straps. These are wider-set in the FigLeaves version. They're not quite as wide as Panache straps, but they are wide enough to be uncomfortable for me. Still, if wider-set straps work for you, and you like the Fantasie 4250 but not its price OR need a smaller band than it offers, this is looking like a great option.
I'll try to add more information as I wear the bra and it breaks in.

It looks as if the band is a few sizes too small. That's most likely why you're having a problem with the cups being too narrow/close together. You shouldn't have any spillage on the top or below the back band, it is obvious to see there is quite a bit under your left arm, and also underneath the cups.
