Wow, pointy! That's the first and only thing I can really say about the shape. It's super duper pointy. It really doesn't look pointy from the profile view or straight on, but if you look straight down at the boobies, it's basically a triangle.
I'm unsure if I will send this bra back yet, because I really don't love the shape. It's also heavily padded, more padded than I was hoping for. I have several padded bikinis, but this is on the verge of being a Foam Dome, minus the big seam down the middle which causes the pointiness (so I almost wish it were a foam dome -- ...then it'd at least be rounded!)
The tag also says 'keep away from fire'. I usually don't intend on getting too close to fire while in a swimsuit, but thanks for the warning.
One other comment, the colors are VERY vivid compared to the website. They look a lot more muted, but the colors are super bright in person. I actually like this, but there were a few negative reviews on the figleaves site.
Like almost all underwire bikinis, the gore is too wide for me. If it's not a plunge, I need the underwires to literally overlap, so this is why it is probably marked as doesn't fit -- but anyone with similar measurements to me should be able to find a good fit in this or any figleaves swimwear of this size, as they apparently run pretty similar. So wonky in the cups for me. They are way too deep in the apex and I can't fill it at all so it goes to its default placement--all bunched all up in that area in the most hideous way, lol. You'd have to have significant enough apex projection to push into these cups, to force them into a taut smooth placement.
And they cut into my roots at the top, so it's not a mix for full on top boobs. The wires are weirdly shaped (I mean I have never seen this shape yet) where they are narrow at the bottom, like a U! Sooo all in all I'd have to totally replace the cups with those of a bra that fits before wearing this out. Gluh!
Me: tall roots reaching collarbone, very close-set (touching), average to narrow width, shallow, splayed east-west, FOT or even (unsure), centre-full horizontally (for this reason I don't usually wear plunges), high set, short torso, broad shoulders, size asymmetry. Measurements: 26" snug UB and 34" leaning bust.
Thanks for this review! I like the print on this top and I was wondering about the fit. Looks like a very similar wire and cup construction to the 30F - Midnight Grace ยป Jasmine Underwired Twist Bandeau Bikini top I got from Figleaves. Very tall U wires going on there, too.
Yeah the jasmine cups look very similar to these, did they work for you?
yogurt almost, but not quite. I think they might have been okay if the U wasn't quite as tall, but it was the gore and lack of straps that were a problem for me even more than that.
I don't know why, but Figleaves bras tend to fit me in 30F while the swim tops I tried so far in 30F-32E are way too big in the cups. They are too wide and too tall on me, while the wires are not too long, it is the upper outer part of the cups that bother the armpits. The cups have a firm but not too thick padding, one vertical seam providing depth. Would be better with two, for sure. I love the narrow gore, but the rest is not fitting at all. The band is pretty tight, more like a 28 band. The bottoms are size 10, fitting a tad large IMO.
I have even breasts, tallish roots, average-to-wide roots.

This one is kinda tight, it might be a bit small in the cup too? But I haven't actually worn it swimming yet so I can't confirm how it fits once it's been saturated with water.
The underwires are kind of uncomfortable... I'm honestly considering removing them.
There is also a seamed inner cup, but with how tight this is on me, the seams easily show through the outer swimsuit material layer, and you can see the weird bunching as well. The swimsuit material seems like there's a lot less material/depth when compared to the inner cup lining. It makes me wonder if ...there was no grading of the outer material and only for the inner cup on multiple cup sizes.
I would be interested to try this in a 30E.
I would NOT pay full price for this. I am keeping this bra, but I literally got it for 93% off retail price... $2.66 USD for the top, and $3.00 USD (86% off) for the matching briefs. Just seems cheaply made to me. The only other swimwear I have tried is multiple Cleo Swim models, and I think the quality of this is so vastly inferior. Read more 92 more words
Bought when I was a 32FF, fit large then. I'd estimate a 32G. Cup is designed that it was still wearable even if a little big. Cuts in a little now but again, still wearable as a bathing suit. STAYS UP WITHOUT HALTER STRAP (better when it was a little big than a little small, guess boobs are heavier now). What kind of black magic is this?
