I usually were a 30F but order a 30FF because I was afraid it would be too small. The 30FF fits very well. The bottom of cups don't have enough space for me and shift down after awhile. It would work better for some one more shallow then me. The top of cups is nice and smooth. The band is a little too big. The nude/mint color disappears under shirts for me.
So this was a surprise from Figleaves - I raided their huge clearance sale recently and picked 2 bralettes and one bra. This was the only thing that "fit." Given that Figleaves doesn't have bra-sized bralettes, they come in XS-L, I picked size Small and expected to have a good laugh but in actuality, this bralette is pretty damn great. I have difficulty measuring width and depth on bras with no wires, so pay as much or as little attention to the measurements as you want.
Pros: First of all, it's freakin' beautiful. The sheer mesh and lace are super soft, the eyelash lace extends ...all the way to the band clasp in the back, and it has a lovely split-strap detail in the back. The cups are very generous for a "small" sized bralette. I'm a 30E/small 30F these days, and I got plenty of room in these cups. There's a half seam at the bottom of the cup and there's room down there, the band stays in my IMF. It gives a minimized, natural, not pointy shape.
Cons: yes, the band is stretchy. It does ride up. I don't think it would ride up *as* much if the straps were longer, but the straps are quite short and even adjusted as long as they'll go, they still feel tight on my shoulders. I know I'm one of the only people here who needs long straps, so the strap length likely will not be a problem for very many others. I'm probably going to alter the band eventually, and I hope that holds it more in place. It only has one hook, like a plastic bikini clasp, so I can't fasten it tighter as is.
I find it fairly supportive despite the stretchy band, but because it's a bralette don't expect it to do heavy lifting. The wide cups don't bother me because there's no wires and the "wings" are short. I love that the band keeps the bottom of my boobs from sitting on my torso - that's a huge sensory thing for me, I can't stand skin-on-skin and that's all I really look for in a bralette anyways.
In all honesty, I probably could have gotten away with an XS in this, but it literally never occurs to me to order XS in anything! I liked this bralette so much I went back to the sale and ordered 2 more different ones, and re-ordered the other one I initially ordered that was much too small. Given I had mixed experience in this first order, I wouldn't say all Figleaves bralettes are good for busty figures, but this one is. Read more 347 more words
My shape: Projected, narrow, shorter roots, even/functionally full on bottom, soft tissue. Cleo Lily fits me best.
I'm currently a 30G, and I bought this in the smallest size I could find, 30, having no idea if it would fit me or not. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit. While the "cups" are about the right size (maybe a little small), the band is too big. This is a pull-over style, so there are no adjustments for the band (or the straps). The straps are also too short for me, but I am pretty low set.
This week I purchased 2 bras, one is Figleaves Chloe in 30FF, another is Heidi Klum Sofia in 32E, both of them are unpadded. Actually I only need one unpadded bra to replace my Hunkemoller Theresa (it is stretched out and I really don't like its instable center gore), but if both of them fit and look good, I will keep both.
The appearance of this Chloe bra is a surprise. When I first time saw the stock photo on Figleaves online shop, I thought it was a little bit granny styled. However as I unpacked it today, I feel it's absolutely not bad. It actually has a ...blossom pink colour instead of the salmon pink color in the stock photo. The blue ribbon bows and the strap sliders in rose gold make it looks lovely and gorgeous, especially when I spread it on a light colored surface.
Before I bought this bra, I had checked its material. It's made with 63% polyamide so it can stretch well to fit my tall roots. The size of Figleaves usually runs slightly small so I chose a 30FF.
The cups have an average width, maybe slightly shallow but still not a problem for me. Wires are not very hard but stable. There are side panels in the cups, just like Fantasie Side Support.
My favorite part of this bra is the strap. The design is also similar to Fantasie Side Support but it's absolutely adjustable because the fabric is not very firm. And the strap itself is a little bit shorter than other bras I have tried, so it's a benefit for my high set boobs.
I found some thread ends attached to the wires as I received this bra, but after I removed them it works still as well as new. So I give the quality a 4/5.
Summary: A beautiful unpadded bra with properly stretchy material, suitable for FoT or even shape with tall roots and provides extra tolerance for high set boobs. Read more 220 more words
This bra is adorable. The size and fit look great on you. Thanks for the review.
Looks like a solid fit! Sweet pattern as well.
Beautiful! I adore the polka dots :-) :-)
Oh wow this bra is gorgeous. Looks also like it fits you really well. Double win. :)
@Thira92 Yes, it still fits nowadays :) Despite of the good look, it's also very comfortable to wear, practical and useful.
I came across this bra in my size and bought it as it was such a fun print. Thanks for the reiview that stuck in my head
jazzypants My pleasure :) Actually this is my greatest success. I have already worn this bra for 6 months and it always fits, even when my size slightly changes during period or ovulation.
Soo something I normally always forget / am too lazy for: reviewing and measuring a bra that fits horribly and will definitely be returned!
I was familiar with this Juliette Lace non padded style (I own 2 in a sister cut / previous incarnation?). So since Figleaves recently closed down, and the Juliettes I own work pretty well, I thought I'd snatch this in the sale.
Bought it off ASOS (US) which can be a bit of a gamble conversion-wise. This time they did do the normal conversion of US 32I = UK 32G. So I did receive the size I was expecting.
Sadly this is WAY too small (see pics) and will be returned. There's too little projection, the stretch lace cuts in like crazy, it gives an east-west look and just nowhere near my size. Fits like a wide-set 32F / FF I would guesstimate?
Weird, because the 2 Juliette-like bras that I own are 34FF and 32G - and they don't fit perfectly, but definitely better than this !!
I usually wear 30DD/28E. I have fairly even breasts with average-wide roots and tallish roots where the tissue thins out over a larger slope on top.

I would not have bought this if I knew it was somewhat padded/push up! There is extra padding in the bottom half of the cup. This causes me to quad in the top of the cup, but I do not think going up a cup size would be the solution since it is by design (I also think the cup size up would be too big. I think it is TTS ignoring the quadding-by-design-of-being-a-pushup).
Fits so strangely. The band was a bit loose and the cups were way too tight. I'd have to get a 30H, I think for it to fit properly.
I think it would fit better on women with firmer breast tissue. My boobs are very soft and it was not a good look. Like I smooshed balls on my chest. It didn't push my boobs inward, like I prefer.
'Just Peachy Lace High Apex Padded Bra' (B-G) 133510 red/gold
It's a nice halfcup made of piece foam with a single vertical seam up the center of the cup. There is an open 3 part zig zag stitch taking down a supersoft microknit binding of some kind over the actual seam inside of the cups, but is not visible from the outer cup. I guess this is to hide the open ends from where the outer stretch lace and the inner foam panels are joined. It's not lumpy in any way and incredibly soft! Likewise the fine microknit binding on the top of ...the cups is durable but not rough or textured in any way. The entire bra is covered expertly in a single layer of stretchy matching red point d'esprit & lace sling along the side of the cups and bottom of the gore in the center front. There are 3 tiny cream satin bows, 1 on the gore and other 2 on the straps just above the cup. Band is also very short and thin, doesn't stretchy much but also made of high quality elastics which don't dig at all. band has 2 hooks and a deep scoop ballet back. A really pretty, somewhat fancy alternative to a basic Tee shirt bra. have held on to it for far too long hoping I'd lose weight or shrink and it would fit, well that's never happened in 2 years so time for someone else to enjoy it. Maybe I'll be able to find one a few sizes bigger and wear that in the future instead. Read more 168 more words
Very smooth inner mesh lining, lace is smooth enough to pass under many tops (just not your right, thin t-shirts). However, it fits more like a 30F on me, but I'm center-full, so I quad a bit.
Fell in love with this design and it did not disappoint in person. Very pretty, rose gold strap sliders, light blue ribbons, and fit like a dream in my usual size. However, some parts of the fabric feels very stiff. It looks expensive but does not feel expensive to the touch. Wires are very hard and stiff. The pink is not a soft light pink but slightly brighter though not gaudy. Will update once I've worn this out
Pros: Other than being just a hair snug on my larger breast, this bra looks and feels like it was meant for my exact breast shape/size. Passes every fit test, and gore lies completely flat even though I am very close-set and often have issues with this.
“Cons”: -Unpadded: more for my personal notes, but the one thing that would make me love this bra more is if it were lined. While it is incredibly comfortable, I would not want to wear it under anything relatively thin, and I do wish it gave me a little bit more of a lifted, rounded shape overall.
Love the look of this bra, seems to be of good quality and likely would hold up well, though can’t say for sure as I returned it.
Fit- the underwires are nicely close-set at the gore, but almost all of the cups’ projection is at the top. For a FOT, projected shape that works well with tall wires, this would likely be an amazing bra. Love that it has some extra side support, but the tops of the wires rubbed under my arms, and there was lots of gaping happening when I moved due to shape mismatch.
This bra is very stiff aside from the cups and the band doesn't even stretch to 36 inches. With an extender, it's actually a pretty good fit because the cups seem true to size and nicely constructed.
I got it for fun as it was only 13$ and looked pretty cute but it's currently my best fitting bra.
it's not the stealthiest being a soft pink with colorful floral pattern and pale blue bows, but the fit makes up for it.
the lace has a small elastic band across the top making it more forgiving in terms of fit, which is good for my FOB and uneven breasts. i had some slight wrinkling on top but with the elastic it's not noticeable
the wires are quite stiff but not uncomfortable. the mesh/lace sides mean it's quite breathable and good for hot days. the cup is lined inside with a mesh so it's 2 thin layers vs the usual 1. the mesh is quite soft so there's no scratchy edges
i have center full breasts and often have some wrinkling on the sides but in this bra fit beautifully tragically as a 26/28 band the band will soon stretch and become too big
By its measurements, this bra should fit me, but it doesn't. I get a slight quadding, and the gore is not sitting flat. The gore is also too high for my close-set breasts. Pretty bra, though.
Beautiful bra. Too bad that it’s shallow though.
