This bra has never really been comfortable for me at any point in my properly-fitting-bra career. It was the first non-matrix bra I tried after finding out that my 32Bs don't, in fact, fit. I should have gone for a 30DD at that point with my 29-inch underbust - the band was true-to-size and painful. And even when I was a true 28E and the band had loosened from wear, it still wasn't comfortable because the wires poked me, and I could never fill that space near the straps. Just a shape mismatch, I guess - almost all plunges are like that on me.
If the underworked dig into your sternum, slide the underwire in the channel - the channel is about 3/4" longer than the wires. This made all the difference in the world to me. I get slight quad-boob if I throw my shoulders back, but for the most part I love the fit.
This is a light weight and comfy bra, in a nice and smooth fabric, with embroidery in same color. Double tissue in the lower half and mesh trimmed on the edges on the upper side. The color is a warm honey, very nice under any color. It does not show through - good for office - and it is cut low enough for summer outfits. It gives a good , natural shape. Overall it is a definitely comfortable and supportive, not too plain,
Nice and well finished Bra. I like the pale shade of nude and the embroidery in nude and white tones on the nude mesh upper panel. Very thick and supportive lower half but comfortable. It is a well built Bra but not my shape : it seems a bit 'empty ' when I wear it -which gets better during the day. On the other hand the central gore is comfortable at the beginning , but I perceive it more and more and in the evening red marks against my sternum are evident.
Tried this bra in two sizes, this one was too small. I still could not fill the top of the cup though because it's made for a fob shape and didn't provide enough lift for me to fool the top.
This bra is really pretty and comfortable. It's a little too small, but I'm still able to wear it. It is quite forgiving. I've had it for a few months and am still on the loosest hook, so little stretching.
I'm still working on finding the perfect fit in a bra, but this one seems true to size in the band and cup. The lace details do not show up through shirts, which is awesome.
If this bra fit me properly without quadboob, it would be a great t-shirt bra.
I tried this on in 28DD/E/FF. The E fit the best, and the band was quite snug. On the loosest hook I could only wear the bra for a maximum of 30 minutes before the gore was stabbing me so hard that it was hard to breathe. I tried pushing the wire down the gore, but it wouldn’t stay that way for very long.
This is a comfortable bra, but the band may be looser than the softcup CK bras I've tried. It is however, still supportive. My left breast is slighter fuller on top, and this bra fits my left breast but gaps on the right. I overcome this with inserts (but this is my problem with asymmetry, not the bra).
The material however feels a little cheap, and is very 'loud' if that makes sense. Loud, but not uncomfortable or itchy.
How lovely! This is a beautiful 3 part soft cup bra, semi sheer and sheer cups with embroidery. Fits my right side very well, and the left side just barely pushes in on the top cup line. Very comfy, the mesh is soft and not scratchy. The color suits my skin tone very well, which is AWESOME. Cups give me a nice round shape. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> There is very slight puckering/wrinkles toward the straps, but I don't mind in the least.
I noticed while measuring that the band will warp the wires while heavily stretched, just an FYI.
Because 28DD's tend to be a tad small for me now, I tried this one in a 28E, but the cups were very large. I'd say they are about a whole cup larger than labelled. They wrinkle a lot, especially in the middle and top part. There is an elastic sewn on the top of cup though, to prevent gaping and I think it is semi effective.
The band feels supportive though, even though it stretches quite far (But I can't say for sure since I haven't worn it for a long time)
I like the thick straps and that the cups have embroidery decorations on it.
Nipples are visible through the nude fabric if you have dark ones.
It's certainly a beautiful and comfortable bra, and the bra that fits me best so far; my problems are only due to the fact that I have a really specific shape I haven't yet found a good fit for. The gore is uncomfortable as with all the CKs I've tried (considering Flirtelle is pretty much a sister company) but it has gotten somewhat better with wear. The top of the cups being somewhat wrinkly seems to be due to my shape being really bottom-heavy and somewhat soft, as a size down is definitely too small.
If the underworked dig into your sternum, slide the underwire in the channel - the channel is about 3/4" longer than the wires. This made all the difference in the world to me. I get slight quad-boob if I throw my shoulders back, but for the most part I love the fit.
If you find that the underwires dig into your sternum, the actual wire is more than a half inch shorter than the channel - just slide it all the way to the armpit end - it makes a huge difference. I desperately needed bras with the 28 band, so I kept it, but it came from brastop with loose threads coming out of the mesh already.
There's just something strange with this bra for me. I tried it in 28e and 28f and had the same problem with both. The thicker bottom fabric is much more stiff than the flimsy lace. The result is that the lace is almost baggy on me and the bottom cup too tight.. It was the same in both sizes and the 28e was slightly too small.. I just think this style doesn't suit me. It is a very pretty bra though. One other warning is that it's very sheer so not great for wearing under a light coloured top!
