My first Fortnight, thanks to kerniss! I’ve appreciated this brand for a long time, but my very projected, non-self-supporting, fairly close-set 30FF bust is typically a dreadful match for wireless bras and bralettes… though I love the way they look! Because Fortnight stops at an F cup, I had to size up a band in order to try them out. Fortunately, Luna seems to run firm in the band, and I'm able to wear it comfortably on the second set of hooks.
It’s not a perfect fit: the ribbon edging closes off the cups a little, cutting into my larger boob especially near the center. Because ... there’s no wire to separate my boobs, they tend to fall towards one another as the day goes on, exaggerating this quadding effect. Based on this, I think Luna might be best for self-supporting FOB shapes, although it’s passable as a comfort bra on pendulous, even shapes like mine. The shape it gives is a low but fairly rounded teardrop, not excellent but not terrible either. It is super comfortable and lightweight… such a relief to put on at the end of the day or any time I’m just around the house! However, having my boobs touch seems to increase boob sweat, and a strange thing I’ve noticed about this bra is that sweat “stains” the fabric of the band, although the marks go away as soon as you wash it.
Aesthetically, the design is casual and minimalistic but beautiful! I love the semi-sheer beige cups and the satiny mauve panel in the front. Altogether, I don’t think it would be worth it to me to buy Fortnight at full price (although the quality of the materials seem to justify the cost) just because it’s not perfect size or shape wise. Still, Luna is the best wireless bra I’ve ever tried, and I’m very happy to have it.
