Dear Fortnight! I believe that we are going to be a good friends. LOVE IT! The materials feels so perfect, the colours are more than perfect! I got this beauty from jlcl119 and very thank you for that. The bra, set was previously used so the band is little bit streched now but its almost perfect on me as I would need one extra set of eyes just for more comfort as a comfy-homey bra, however still is comfier than some of my 70s EM or Comexims. It doesnt give much support to my boobs but I didnt expect that, and I need this bra to ...feel good in it without feeling wires on my body and having red marks after wearing it. Also, the cups are slightly too small - next time I will go for 30F probably and that will solve the problem hopefully. The panties size M but looks like S, obviously are too small on me -_- all over are dgging into my body - probably Id need to loose 10kg to make them fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> Overall, some issues with it, but nothing major and that I cannot accept! I love it once again! Read more 98 more words
Beautiful bra. I'm really hoping I find one that fits me at some point
revisa I hope as well! :) its lovely and very comfy!
I've tried a couple 30Fs. I think for the cup volume I really need to get a 32F
For me I need to find in 32DD and should work really well as looser band would reduce the quads :)
This is beautiful! Been looking for this same one myself. Fortnight's designs are gorgeous :)
Queequeg0925 you should definietly try it!! Designs are brilliant but the materials also are high quality (however I wouldnt pay over $100 for it, but the price I got it , was worth it )
So cute - the dotted mesh they use is unique and fun.
Overall, an impulse purchase. I don't need this bra at all. But it's beautiful and so soft and tempting to keep, clearly the quality Fortnight is known for. I would say this runs pretty similarly to their longlines in size, which makes it a bit small for me. It cuts in on top, but I found sizing up helps. It is a bit wide and tall near my armpits.
Cup depth measurement taken with bra on since the cups are so stretchy
well, first of all it arrived quicker from Canada quicker than my EM order from Poland.. so that was unexpected but made my day https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> I got another fortnight as Im in love with my 30E - Fortnight » Mira Longline (517-11) and could not resist when I saw it in decent price. I got the full set with highwaited briefs that actually Im not going to wear as im not fan of them but just wanted to see how they will look like. As it is Fortnight - the quality is amazing. Im not really happy with 30s ...band but they didnt have anything in 32 or 34, however I still can close it and wear but it will need some time to stretch a little. The cups are too small, so Im getting quadboobs, probably 30F/32E would work the best, but as a lounge bra I dont really care. The materials are different. While Mira is made of combined soft fabric and lace, the Luna is made like out of mesh fabric. The cups are a little see through. The one thing that I dont like in this bra are the seams across breasts as they're thick and dont look very nice when the bra is on, but once again - with bra that is going to be used around the house only - its completely fine. Straps are fuly adjustable and fit my narrow shoulders. So, the next bra that is going to help me go thorugh hours of writing my dissertation and wont leave marks after wearing bra with wires!
Beautiful in the black/lime green colorway, but unfortunately runs a bit small in the cup. My first Fortnight was a light blue/beige 30DD Mira that gave me quadding. Thought my normal size, 30E, would be better overall. But this 30E has cups just as small as my 30DD Mira - bummed about that. The mesh material of Luna cups is forgiving, but maybe not so much as the stretchy and forgiving Mira cups. I think a 30F in this color would be best, giving me more room everywhere.
I was dreading that buying this bra NWT in a 30 band would be a painful mistake, but I ...don't find it super tight. It is normal or true to size. It was easy to put on without having to turn the wrong ways.
So while it isn't a perfect fit, it is comfy and one of the only semi-fitting bras i have that I really love the colors of! Also the shape isn't bad. After the Freya Fancies bralette, I felt a little blue about my natural shape.. none of that here! Read more 75 more words
Very useful review, thanks very much for that! Would love to see measurements as well, if you don't mind adding them :)
I found almost the same fit characteristics in my review of the AW16 30F - Fortnight » Ivy Longline (673-11) . Band was true to size, cups one size small. Despite the slightly too small cups, I think this colorway looks great on you!
Added measurements, though I feel these are always difficult to measure:
30E Luna has about 8.5" depth when I'm wearing it. (8 measured over my knee with less stretching)
30DD Mira is about 8.1 depth when I'm wearing it, so maybe I exaggerated. I dont feel like they fit that differently though
It's comfortable, it's cool for summer, they're all pretty, and the shape isn't bad. The Vega is best for hot sticky weather. It's more supportive than Mira, less rigid than Luna. The fabric is really thin and breathable. I have some East/West going on, but that's okay. As far as I'm concerned these are house bras that I can run errands or answer the door in. They give my bony sternum a nice break from underwires and I'll wear them on lazy house days.

Excited to try this out in a 30E! This bra isn't quite as soft as the Mira Longline, the fabric on this one is rougher, thicker, but also a lot more supportive. It looks to be a little large on the breast, but I think that's mostly due to the larger band on this particular bra. It seems true to size for a 30. Unfortunately, much too large for me, so I will need to alter it down. Edit: Took off like 1.5ish inches off the band, but the cups are still a bit generous, especially on my smaller side. Ah well, tissue shrinkage has been severe.
I don't need another Luna, I told myself. But what if a lighter color fits differently from the neon/black I've tried?? I have trouble saying no when they pop up at a good price. I watch for them on eBay and seeing one under like $80 is rare.
It seems color did not change the fit enough to stop the cups from cutting in on me. This one measures a bit wider and deeper. Most surprisingly, the cup height is also half an inch shorter. This may be because I measured while wearing it with looser straps where I tended to overtighten the straps on my 30E neon/black Luna. None of this does me any favors. The band is also a firmer one and is too tight for me.
The pale pink/ivory color is really beautiful without being too girly. The pink has a dusty tone to it that makes it very modern and trendy.
I'm a writer: I stay at home all day in bralettes, and then I put on a sportsbra and go to the gym. I know I'm not going to get lift and shaping from bralettes, and I am currently on the hunt for flattering, structured, seamed, wired going-out bras. In the meantime, here's an expensive bra-sized bralette I splurged on to see whether it's markedly better than its $12 Target counterpart. I think my true size is most often 28F. At Target, I buy the small Gilligan and O'Malley bralettes and take in the bands. I got the Vega in 30E since it doesn't come in a 28. ...Love the color, and the zig-zag mesh is delightful. More my jam than froufy lace. The longline style and firm mesh do contribute some support and shaping, and you can shorten the straps - typically I have to alter bralette straps to be shorter. But as usual, I either have to wear the straps too loose, or accept some wrinkling at top. My breasts are fairly soft and this bralette isn't going to change that. S'cool, I can appreciate the sway-in-the-breeze 70s look. I pretend I'm Norma Rae. I actually do wear this bralette out in the world comfortably, under a loose tank or romper. The overall effect is significantly better than the cheapie version, because of the small band/larger cup size and the stronger mesh, but Vega still has all the usual bralette limitations. Upshot: Really like it, glad to have it, would buy more but not at $90. Read more 150 more words

Beautiful bra. I'm really hoping I find one that fits me at some point
