I tried this bra in several sizes (30DD, 30E, 28DD, 28E, 28F). The 30 band definitely works better for me than this 28, but the color I wanted (ocean) wasn't available in 30, so I decided to try some 28 bands too. The F cup is too big and too tall. However, somehow the gore digs less with this 28F than with the 28E (or 30DD). If this would be a bra I might go with the larger cup size, but with a bikini I prefer a tighter fit. I'm thinking of getting this bra in 30DD (I can have it shipped from the UK) and then changing ...the wires, but I'll first try a 32D to see if a larger band helps reduce tension on the wires/gore.
The color "ocean" is much brighter than on the Freya pictures, maybe a little too much for my taste. The colored rim is cute (and very cute on the bikini panties), but shows under clothing. The pink bra didn't show under clothing at all, so I might exchange this for a solid black. Read more 72 more words
This bra is very comfortable and I don't have any real issues with it. One thing that I appreciate is that it isn't one of those plunge bikinis that attempts to shove the breasts together to create a huge line of cleavage. Instead, it is open in the middle while retaining separation. I would prefer if the wires were a little wider for my slightly wide roots, but they are just barely wide enough that they don't sit on tissue. My breasts are about 2lb and this weight creates some pressure on the neck due to the bra being in a halter style; I can tolerate it, but ...women with heavy breasts might not enjoy this style.
Instead of having hooks, this bra has a strange plastic closure that snaps into place. It's not difficult once you figure out how it works, but I wonder about how it might stand up to wear. The band isn't as loose as some other Freya bands, but I'll probably have to shorten it if it stretches out since there is only one band setting with the unique closure. Read more 77 more words
Complete shape mismatch for me. I think I'm projected, a little over extremely narrow, FOB, and close set. Unlike normal Freya bras, this has a VERY narrow cup. The top of the cups have excessive gapping and my tissue has trouble staying in it since it's molded.
The center gore is very low, so that works well for my close-set breasts.
The shoulder straps aren't too far apart, usually I have issues with straps falling. I don't here, but they're very uncomfortable. They dig into my shoulders, but if I loose the straps, the cup gapping gets worse. When I stand up it's okay, but very bad even in a neutral sitting position.
This would probably work well for someone who is more shallow and narrow. Also, the underband is excessively stretchy--I could put it on the tightest hook easily.
Band's way too tight and cups too small. Again, I purchased this bikini tip with the Freya Fusion same size, didn't consider that fabric for swimwear would be tighter. But not like the Fusion one, broke the clasp of this one being too tight. Fusion still standing strong after 4 years.
I think I should've ordered the one in bigger band size (and bigger cup) (obviously didn't consider the fabric for swimwear would be much tighter). This bikini top is slightly tight (digs in) and the cup size too small for me.
After 4 years, same review https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":-D" /> I still wear it now to the beach lol
This is a fantastic bikini set, but unfortunately it's just a bit too small for me in the cups. I love the vibrant pattern, and the top is convertible and can be worn as either cross-back or halter.
I was going to do a positive review and then I put this on and realized how badly it cuts into my boobs. Oh well.
This bikini is incredibly adorable! It looks like Minnie Mouse. I like the color combination and the shape of the neckline. The decorations at the edge of the cups really make the style. They are a bit impractical though, since they are made from thin strings which can gather sand and mud when swimming in a sea/lake. This doesn’t give an incredible uplift or shape, but good enough for a bikini and still keeps the girls decently in place. It’s also comfortable overall, although ...the neck tie does put some pressure on the neck.
I got this originally in 28E, and then repurchased in 28F after it got way too small. Although I’ve been wearing some newer Freya swimwear purchases more recently, I now realize that this style might actually fit better. It’s not ridiculously wide like some of the padded options. It offers some degree of projection, although still not a huge amount. My biggest issue here is that the trim at the edge of the cups cuts into my close-set, center-full breasts. It’s still not horribly visible, though, and the fit becomes a bit more flexible when the suit is wet. The closed edge does manage to keep my boobs somewhat separated, which I appreciate in something that I wear in public. The gore is luckily very low and doesn’t bother at all. The band feels a bit tighter than standard Freya, and feels snug enough for my 26 inch underbust (at least as a halterneck).
Another slight minus I have of this bra is that it’s unpadded. I’m not a fan of nipple show-through, and it’s cold in Finland! I also got the brief in size XS. Freya bottoms are usually rather loose for me even in the smallest size, but the swimwear seem to run a bit tighter. These fit rather snug, but are still a bit too high rise in the back for my taste. The Venetian came as a BTB swap - just had to let my Panache Nancy go. Thank you uniteacher - the bikini is in perfect, like new condition! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I love Freya Swim, so despite the pattern and style not really being my first choice, not exactly a ruffle fan - this bikini just might grow on me. My prime objective was to get the cup size right, which is a total success. The band feels unusually tight for Freya, much tighter than my Tootsie. The wires stretch wider than they should because of this. The gore is too wide, the wires sitting on breast tissue - this is really the biggest issue. Once the band stretches a little, I will probably take the gore in. Update will come after I dip the Venetian in the Adriatic Sea...
This is a great swim top! I think I'm going to try to order a different size and see if that will fix the tightness of the band and the very slight gapping at the top of the cups.
Freya bras usually run large in the band but this bikini definitely runs tight. The cups are also slightly too big. I really wish this had worked. I'm not a fan of the ruffles on the bikini top or bottom. I'm debating whether to try to make it work and cut off the ruffles or sell it.
(This is about the pink-white bikini top) My usual Panache bra size is 28F, and I find this bikini top runs quite "true to size".
The band is okay, I think it´s tight enough. It looks like it goes a little up my back, but it feels secure.
The cups are almost perfect for me. They create a rounded shape which I prefer. There is however very minor overspill in the center of cups. The shape is not the best match for me, but very close to being perfect!! You don´t even see the overspill in the pictures. It is so minor and I think it almost disappears after I jiggle a little, so I concider these cups a very good fit for me. I have wide + tall root and shallow boobs.
Straps adjust all the way.
I got a turqouise-white and a pink-white also. They seem to fit about the same, no big differences there.

I also got matching brief UK10. I normally wear UK12 / EU M, but this bikini bottom fits well. It is supportive and snug without being too small and it covers my bum like it´s supposed to. Read more 81 more words
Very cute bikini top! I ordered this online, hoping it would fit (I'm usually a 28E-F). Turns out it was too big and wrinkled too much. If this was a bra I could probably overlook this, but I was worried since I would be swimming in it. The band is firm considering there is only one hook. I ordered a 28E later and it fits great. Really love this piece.
I was a bit worried that the 28 band might be too tight, especially because after ordering this i received another Freya bikini top in 30E and the 30 band was okay. Luckily the 28 band is okay https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This bikini is beautiful, it is aqua blue or turqouise, and it has see-through plastic "stones" in the straps. The band fits well, straps are okay and adjust all the way, wires are wide enough and cups right size, BUT the upper seam of the cups is tight, and it cuts in. I get quadboob https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I think the shape is just not compatible with me. Other than that I absolutely love this bikini.
The bottom I have in UK/EU size M and I find it fits true to size.
EDIT. I also get wrinkles at the bottom of the cups. It goes away if I shorten the straps but then the quadboobing is worse.
I adore this sprightly color on you! Such a beautiful color :-)
