This was very graciously donated to me by veggiechic ; thank you so much for sending me this to try on! Unfortunately, the cups aren't projected enough, and I get some major quadding at the top. The band isn't very stretchy, so it's a tad too tight for me to be comfortable. It's a shame, because this bikini is ADORABLE! I love the colors and the print; it's got a very 50's sailor-esque vibe going on. The top of the cups has a navy blue piping/line decoration that ends in a little bow on the right side cup only, which is a nice touch. The clasp is plastic, but seems heavy duty enough that it won't come undone while in the water. This bikini seems a bit smaller in the cups than other Freya 30GG's I've tried, probably due to the padding. It's not thick padding, but more of a foam lining.
While it doesn't technically fit, it's so close! I need a H cup but it's only made up to a GG https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> It band is very stretchy, but it appears to have a decent elastic. It's the best fitting FoT bikini top I've tried so far!
Pretty good! I like the padded feeling, I had never had a well fitting bra or bikini that was padded. Looks good, although it's a bit shallow at the bottom, so my breasts are pulled up a bit. It works fine though, I don't get quad boob and my boob just sits a bit higher than with unlined bras and bikinis. If I were to buy it, I'd probably get a cup size up to be more comfortable. But it's really good for a bikini that I'm only going to use for a few months each year. The band is super supportive. I love it!
This particular model runs WAY big. HUGE. In most bras I quad in a 30G and need a 30GG. In this bikini, I need a 30FF or I get huge gaping along the top.
I have this in the Indigo (bright purple) colorway. It seems to run a tad bit smaller than the same size Fever, Tootsie or Acapulco (all sweetheart padded bikini tops).
Despite being two cup sizes two small, I wear this bikini as a bra because it gives a great shape under clothes and is really comfortable. The button and seam decoration are not as pretty in person as in pictures, in my opinion.
I think this bra might run small in the cup, because I consider myself a 30GG and there is a little quad ding at the top. Not a ton, its not noticeable enough to not wear though, feels secure with nothing about to pop out. The swim top is un padded with just swim fabric and some power-mesh on the inside to support the bottom of the cup. The band feels tighter than a Deco band, but definitely not a whole band size down. The cup fabric is somewhat stretchy and has a slightly minimizing effect. I feel like it flattens my chest slightly. Comfy, easy to swim in, gore is a touch high for a plunge. Overall I am satisfied with the fit of this bikini top. My only grief with the appearance is there is extra fabric extending below the wires (maybe to make them feel softer??) I don't like how it looks on the bra aesthetically. But I'm just happy to have any sort of swim suit!
I love this bikini top! The fit is spot on, the color is awesome (hot pink!), and it's comfy. Another winner from Freya (I think I say that phrase too much). I have both this top and the bottoms in a medium (for reference, my behind is US 6/8 UK 10/12) and they cut into my hips too much and are not flattering. A large would be too big in the bum as I actually have a small behind to go along with my larger hips. I highly recommend this bikini top, and hope to purchase it in the pretty new Obsession color. As for the band, it's a bit on the tight side because when it gets wet it'll stretch.
I like this a lot. It's cute & while I do get some quad-boob, it's nice for the cleavage effect without being too much. Material feels very nice with light padding and a snap close at the back. The only reason I can't fill the sides are because my breasts are extremely extremely narrow. That being said, freya is a close enough fit & glad I got this one. Very comfortable & supporting.
I bought this as I was still losing a bit of weight. At the time I was buying Freya bras in 30GG and when I received this bikini I was thrilled: I hadn't had such a comfortable bikini in years (previously I was wearing a 34FF Freya triangular number with tie string halter and tie string back ... and was tieing it as short as I could).
Now that I wear a 28GG in Cleo, 30G in Panache and 30G in Freya and Fauve this is clearly too big on me.
I was never happy with the 30 back and really noticed that it doesn't hold me firmly in the 30 Pier. It's a generous back, if you're between sizes go for the smaller.
This summer (Australia 2012/2013) I bought the same model in Jitterbug 28GG. See my review - it's a better fit for me now!
