In short this bra fits similar to my 32HH Sundance and better than the 34H Gatsby as the 32 band gives me better hold and support. I usually wear 32 bands in most bras these days so I say it's tts. Sometimes it's recommended to size up 1 band size in Swimwear for comfort but I ...wouldn't recommend it on this. The cups run on the larger side and are full on top friendly since they are open on top and tall enough at the gore and straps to hold soft upper breast tissue in.
This Gatsby style is discontinued and can be found for good prices on ebay where I got mine. I think it's very pretty. I like the black and white geometric print it's something different. I usually don't like the very flashy bold floral prints on Bikinis, This is a nice depart from that. As for the extra strap at the gore --- I know this was / or still is trendy but I'm not sure if I like it on this so much. Maybe it just isn't so flattering on fot soft boobs as the strap cuts in a bit and therefore makes it look like quadboob. I got 2 negative comments on it, saying the bra is nice but they dislike the strap which made me insecure and I only wore it once or twice yet. I think about cutting it off.
I also own the matching pants in size L, they fit nice on my hips (108-110cm). They are called high waist bikini brief, but Imo they are just good coverage pants - not very high waisted on me or on the model as they end below the belly button. They look really flattering and even better than the really high waisted ones on me as they accentuate the hips and not the belly. If you are between sizes, size down in pants are they run generous. Thanks :) I'm happy I found this. Now I just have to stay in my current size range since this bra stops at HH cup :( Freya should expand the range to K cup. I think it could easily work in larger sizes too as it supports my heavy bust quite well and I'm more of a 32JJ-K these days.

I received this in June 2020 when I was about 32J/JJ in other bras, Back then I would have said that it's a good fit and I get no quadboob. Now at the end of summer I'm more close to 32JJ/K but I can still wear this bra. If I don't swoop and scoop too much I get no quadboob. For Bikinis my fit standards are lower than for regular bras as usually we don't wear them every day. Most important for me is : okay fit, band is snug enough to hold it up, cups give good coverage and nothing falls out, support is okay enough to ...wear 2-3 hours. Bonus if it also looks cute and gives a round uplifted shape.
The Freya Sweetheart cut does tick all boxes. It's a balconette cut with padding at the cups. I think the cut could be like their idol / deco models but I haven't tried those, it just looks kinda similar. I'd say it runs a bit large / the cups are on the taller side, that's probably why I can fit into an HH cup when I usually need 2-3 cup sizes largerI really love how comfortable and supportive this feels. I even don't mind to wear it under my clothes before I go swimming as it just looks like a regular bra under clothing. Also I like the shoulder straps. They look rather narrow but the width is just right to feel comfortable and not cut in too much.
I used to struggle with Bikinis - either they weren't supportive at all or the padding on them was so thick that it added lots of bulk and they didn't sit right and boobs fell out of the middle. This Freya bikini has light padding, it helps to shape and support the bust but it doesn't add lots of bulk. It feels like spacer foam. I was shocked how much I liked a padded bra as I usually hate them! I also say that the cut is full on top friendly as the top section is open and the cups are tall where they meet the straps so they hold in upper tissue well.
The Sundance style is a staple from Freya and is made in many different colors. Older colors are often available for good prices on ebay where I found mine. The quality feels good. I probably wore it like 10 times this summer and noticed 2-3 loose threads. Maybe the crochet part is a bit more sensible to wear and tear than if it were just regular swim material on the cups? But apart from that there are no issues.
Overall this Bikini top makes me feel confident and supported and I can go swimming without worrying about my boobs falling out. I really recommend it! Read more 361 more words
Oh yay, I'm glad you found a bikini that works well for you! It looks really good. I have a Freya Tankini with this same sort of crochet look to it (mine looks no where near as good though). Too bad it's already fraying, but it sounds like an overall "win".

I just was never in the size range so I never thought I could fit into one until I went down to 32J-cup and thought what not give sister size 34HH a try only to find out it runs large :D Is the Tankini with padded cups too?
alisa haha, I just happened to be here at the right time! I have 1 cup sized bikini that fits me just right, so I wore it all summer. All the other bikinis and tankinis that I've tried weren't great. I should really review them, but I'm being lazy. The Freya tankini that I have is not quite padded...it's more like a lining that feels almost like a spacer foam. It's seriously impossible to get on and off though. It's wired, and the wires just flip upside down, and the body is so tight... torture! I've only worn it twice I think since last summer. I just googled it and "Freya Spirit Indigo Tankini top" came up on a site that looks like the one I got.
Wilderness1 Pls review them, we need all the data. i also sometimes don't feel like it, but if I reserach a bra and there are pics & review for it, I'm always so happy. So I happily use some free time to give back to community with my reviews. Yes spacer foam! that is what it reminds me of! Like those seam less bras are made of. I totally forgot about that since they days when I fit into such a bra are so long gone :D I hate about Tankinis that they so hard to put on / get off :S I think it's sometimes better to size up in them in band to be able to wear it easier.
alisa I have a few days off in October, maybe I'll try to get that done! I tried sizing up in the band just to make it easier to put on the swimsuits/tankinis, and they're still so difficult to get on!
Wilderness1 Swimsuits are the worst. Impossible to get in even if I sized up. The Tankinis are a nuissance too but it's easier as they just have to go on like a top. It needs practice. But if Im in a hurry I rather put a bikini top on than a tankini. The wires always get twisted if not done very carefully :S
This is the first cup sized swimwear I've ever had after discovering my real bra size so I was pleasantly surprised even though it's far from perfect. For the price I got it for (it was on sale), I'm satisfied with it. The band is loose. The cup is an odd shape for me. The cups go very high up and at the part where the straps start there's still cup space and it's very curved as if it expects boobs to be that high up. There's empty space left there and since it's padded it looks kind of wonky and awkward (at least on my boobs). I'm full on top and there's still empty space. The underwire doesn't poke and it 's actually quite comfortable.
Pros: very pretty and well-made. The colors are much brighter than the pictures online. Cons: The center gore is too wide and folds over; the band is too stretchy, I guess because it is swimwear material; and the wires are extremely inflexible and begin to dig in to my outer rib cage after wearing for just a few hours.
