first words: finally got my first longline. i thought i was a 30F, but it showed up on ebay in 30FF so that's what i got. i'm glad i did because big bertha seems to fill out the cup just about perfectly, though the wires are a bit too wide. i'm coming to the conclusion that i really do need to go up to a 30FF in most of my bras. i've been afraid of padded bras because i wasn't sure if the padding would alter the fit, but the padding is very minimal; seems more like a lining than anything else.
appearance: the vertical seams provide a ... nice lift and rounded side profile, which i like. the major draw of the longline imo, a smooth back profile, is something i could get used to. i infinitely prefer the pattern on the edina to the other freya longlines. though it IS a floral print, the black and white and the not-quite-traditional flowers chosen for the pattern make it look more like an old map to me. i seem to be in the minority in that regard, though. a little worried that it'll start looking dingy, since there's a lot of white.
fit: when i slouch, the bottom flips up a bit in the front, and it can get a wrinkle or two as well. i'm sure the boning in the sadie prevents that, but i'm not sure if it would affect the comfort or not. there's one small wrinkle toward the outside of the cup on the bottom on my larger side, and i'm not exactly sure how to interpret that. slight gap at the top of the cup on the smaller side. i'm not used to this much compression, but i'm sure i'll get used to it. it's certainly not uncomfortable - kinda like an all-day hug. i feel like someone else is holding me up.
impression: overall, favorable.
