Really want to like this one. I love the light lace construction and the keyhole gore (though I’m ambivalent about the gateway back). And I love the shade of navy. The navy lace is great. I did order this one in a 28 band because it’s been a while since I’ve bought a Freya and I’d had word that the bands were stretchy and generous, so I didn’t know how low to go, given my measurements.

The band is definitely too tight, but so are the cups. Even though I have heard this is a good FOB style to try, and it has stretch lace a top thr ... top, the cup is digging/cutting into my tissue as if I was FOT or tall rooted, but I’m not. I’m generally average roots with even to FOB tendencies. So I don’t think the sister size 30E will work any better (and I did try and extender to see how that affected the cups...not significantly) and I think the 30F will fit better in thr cups, but I won’t be able to fill them out enough on top and I won’t have a good shape. Soooo, booo...

Part of me still wants to get this in a 30E and deal with the quadding because it’s a beautiful bra, but I have to accept that it is probably a shape mismatch and that Freya plunges, except for the Deco, aren’t for me. So I should probably avoid unless I find a really cheap one.

    • Just want to say i'm sorry you didnt get more feedback on your fit requests. Ppl have been jumping in to them less recently, i'm not sure why

    • This is a beautiful bra, sorry it didn't fit you. I wonder if you have some inner fullness perhaps? Try learning forward 90 degrees in facing a mirror and check out if there is more tissue on the inside of your breasts or the outside (or even)? If you're full in the centre, your nipples will point slightly outward. I have some inner fullness, and bras that have this shape cut in on the inner aspect of my breasts even though I'm not FOT.

    • Wilderness1 I do have some inner fullness, yes.

dbmamaz Thanks. I'll leave them up a little bit longer.

You have so many of the same sizing issues as me! I can wear Deco as well, but Freyas tend to look so pointy on me. It's crazy, because I'm so NOT pointy. My tissue is malleable though, so it takes the form of the cups instead of the other way around. A bra similar to this that actually does fit me well is the panache Jasmine. It has wider, shallower cups that are rounded, not pointy. It gives rounded shaping even under tight tops.

    • An illustration of Freya's cups on my body: http://bra.pe/IFuy/

    • ShaniSunAZ I also have malleable tissue but I find that I don't work with the Jasmine well. In the other bra fit request (Kiyoko) I have an imgur album with the Ciao Bella that was suggested, and further down I'm in a 32DD Jasmine and it's ok from the front, though a bit too east west for me, but pointy side view. I've tried it in sister sizes but not any different. Although I need fairly deep cups, it's up projected for me. I think that I need depth at the wire but not the apex. I'm still learning though.

    • Calluna it sounds like you have such similar fit issues to me! I'll have to keep an eye on what you find to see what might work for me! ;)

Yes, Wilderness1 , I’m fairly certain that we’re boob twins. UU

About me: close set, center full, tall, sloping roots, full on bottom (though combined functionally even in some respects), narrow and projected.

As is often the case with plunges, there wasn't enough projection near the wire for me. The top also cut in.

I don't even know why I bothered to try this bra. I guess it just looks too good. Although the top seam is stretch lace, there is an elastic near the edge so the cups still cut into my tall roots. The band is a little stretchy and is too loose. There is only one hook so it doesn't make me feel too secure. This bra is projected like other Freya plunge balconies, but it's more like a balcony than a real plunge. The gore is quite high. The cups are also too tall.
