My search for an optimal unlined bra continues. I have a tall wide chest, that is slightly shallow on top and full at the bottom and center. (I also have linebacker shoulders) I purchased a 30DD instead of a 32DD, because I've noticed that Freya's bands tend to stretch a lot, but sadly this is also not the one. I really like the color, the feel of the lace, and the back. But once again my shape doesn't work for this bra. I've got that weird wrinkling and cutting in at the top, which I think indicates the bra is too projected at the top for me. Something similar was happening with my 32DD - Panache » Rumeur Full Cup Bra (7405) Does anyone have any suggestions for unlined bras that would work for slightly top shallow, tall, bottom heavy boobs?

Panache Clara is kind of shallow with stretch lace on the top.

Maybe Curvy Kate Ellace? top lace is stretchy, im FOB/Even with tall roots and works well.

    • This be a is not too projected for IMO, the cup just cuts in too quickly for your tall roots. Sometimes those sorta wrinkles are caused by a bra that's too small. I have Claudette 30c and I get those same lines really badly but in my 30d I don't have them quite as much. Check out Tutti Rouge, I think their styles would work with you quote well. Stick with your normal 32 band size unless you like Nicole, then get a 32 with a cup size or two smaller.

    • LeProfessor Thank you for your suggestions! So do you think that is the case with the 32DD - Panache » Rumeur Full Cup Bra (7405)
or is that wrinkling something else. I will definitely check out Tutti Rouge!
and thanks martka00! to amazon I go!

Shape: Average projection, very center-full, short to medium roots, even when supported, softer tissue from weight loss (and just always how I've been shaped)

This bra doesn't work for me. I'm not sure if it's worth trying any other freya plunges in this genre (gateway back, etc). It is way too closed on top with a very wide gore which will not tack with how center-full I am. I believe it is too projected due to how much wrinkling is in the cup despite it being on the smaller end of my size range. I can't get the straps tight enough for it to look good either. It ... is also very large in the band - it's too big for me even on the tightest hook. I've tried a 30E in this previously, which was obviously huge. I could hypothetically try a 28E/F to see if the tighter band will tack, but at this point I don't believe this is the right bra for me. The lack of a side-support panel gives me kind of a weird square look in it, and my softer tissue needs a bit more structure.

I got this bra secondhand to help me figure out my new shape/style preferences after breast augmentation. I got it in a 30DD and while it fits, it's not as snug as I would like in the band. The gore also hits me a little high. I have a pretty small frame, though, so the gore distance and height is going to be an ongoing issue, I'm sure. It's comfortable enough to wear all day, though (keep in mind my breasts are implants and I do not need much support. This bra would be more uncomfortable if it had to do any amount of work to hold up my breasts, as the straps would take on the load) and it is cute. It's thin but does a decent job concealing hard nipples.
