I thought this will be like Freya's padded bras but apparently it's more like the non padded ones. It's way too big, both in the cups and in the band. Actually the band is ridiculously big, it measures 65 cm without stretching and stretches easily to 86 cm. It rides up even on the tightest hooks. There's a lot of empty space in the cups. It's nice that straps are fully adjustable but, as always in Freya's bras, they are too long for me.
Cups are made of soft and very thin fabric. Overall, it's a nice bra. It is minimalistic but looks great. I would love to try it in my correct size but I'm afraid that 28 band would still be too big.

    • Thanks for a good review! Since I just found my real bra size I've been wanting to try Freya, its good to know that the band runs big on this bra.

I see you tried @Freya's @DecoFuse, can you remember, did it run true to size? I'm on the small side of 30:07 a 30F UK, and I was worried that the cups might run big like on the @Deco. Thank you!

    • Vintagelady The Deco Fuse may seem to run big in the cups as they are, in my opinion, quite open on top but it may fit in your usual size as well. I think it depends on your shape. Unfortunately, I haven't tried the original Deco. To me, the Fuse was similar to the Deco Vibe and Delight but there is a significant difference in the way the cup edges fit - in my Fuse they stick out(?). I can't explain this properly, even in Polish, but this trimming doesn't lie flat on my breasts and it can be visible under clothing. I think you can see it on my pictures. I haven't tried the smaller size to determine if this is a construction or a size issue, so I don't know if the 30E would fit without quadding. And you could also want to size down in the band as mine measures 64 cm and stretches to 77, so it's more like the 32 than the 30.

    • Thanks for replying!

Hmm, that's what I wondered. I'd definitely want to size down in the band, 32 is pretty loose.

As for the cups gaping, you explained it nicely, I've had that before, it was only on one of two bras that were the same. I don't know what causes the flare, but I do know that the bra that curled out was bigger that the other, (both were supposedly 34C US).

30E may be the size I should try for Deco Fuse, I'm full on top though, so I'm not sure if that would cause the quadding you mention or just stop the edge from curling. I don't want to get it if it will flare out, that defeats the purpose of a t-shirt bra. ;)

Do you recommend the Deco Vibe and Delight?

    • Vintagelady Definitely :) The Vibe and the Delight both have the trimming, but it doesn't cause any problems. I needed to size down in the band in both, but I've kept my 30F as they were really cheap. I have one Delight in 28FF, and it's a perfect fit, now I wouldn't buy any of them in 30F :P I think that they could work as a t-shirt bra (better than the Fuse for sure), but keep in mind that these Decos have this thick edging, so it's not completely invisible under clothing. I don't mind this, and the Delight in 28FF is one of my favourite bras at the moment.

As for the Fuse cups, I didn't want to write that the cups curl out as it could be understood wrongly, like they did this only when I'm wearing the bra. But they just are this way. I wouldn't say it's a gaping, it's only this stupid stiff trimming. I compared the Deco Fuse with my Deco Charm and they were the same in every dimension, I don't know why this bra fits differently, really. And that's why I have a problem with explaining this :). I mentioned trying the smaller size as there's a possibility that one could fill out the cups better and the edges wouldn't look like this, but to be honest, I doubt it's a size-related issue. I think it's a construction fail or the shape mismatch as I am not full on top, more like even. Or maybe this particular bra is faulty. When I posted this Fuse on the Polish bra site, the users told me that some Decos just behave like this, and there's no point in sizing down.

    • Oh, I think I meant that a 28 band would be better than 30 since it runs big, does a 28FF fit like the 30f should?
Do Delight and Vibe both run a little lose like Fuse?

That is good to know, I think unless I see a really good deal for the deco fuse I'll try a different one for starters. I like the look of Deco Vibe. It looks comfy.

Thank you so much WelshCorgiPembroke !

Vintagelady Yes, they both run big in the band. I am somewhere between the 30F and the 28FF, and I feel that this 28FF is my perfect fit.

    • That's really helpful, I think as I'm on the small side of 30f, I like to try a 28f, and see how that is. If it's like a 30e, it would probably work for half of the month. ;)

Over all, too small in both band and cups, despite reading reviews saying both run large.

    * Wrinkle-free spacer fabric cups. Great for travel! Cups are covered in fishnet-like jacquard fabric; texture won't show under a T-shirt. Good nipple coverage. However, not much vertical or horizontal stretch in the cups (only diagonal stretch to speak of). Neckline edge of cups finished off with bias trim; not the best appearance.
    * Band has stretch only in the back, none under the arms in front of the vertical seam (helps keep the sides from escaping!). The contour of the band seems to lend itself to a V-shaped torso (Yay, for athletic builds!)
    * Straps have very little stretch. Great to have the J-hook, but the straps were barely long enough in regular position for me, so definitely too short using the J-hook.
    * The gore is nice and low; stays out of the way of center closeness.

I think the cups may be set further apart than what works for me. My boobs fit in the center, but there is gapping towards the side of the top of the cup right before the bra strap, and there seems to be excess room in the entire top half of the cup. The cups are also pretty wide, and when I lift my arms, there is excessive wrinkling on the sides.

Nice bra. The band seems long enough, but the bra may not to have enough immediate projection for me. Good for tall roots. Interestingly, height black band measures longer than the beige band, and the gore height is slightly lower.

I really wanted to like and keep this bra. The band fit fine when tried on backwards/upside down. I think the cup may need more immediate projection for me. The good news for those with tall roots--it works in that respect!

I ordered this simply because it was listed as a spacer bra, and I've been curious about spacer bras for so long. I tried another one in the past that didn't seem like spacer foam, just normal foam, and this one also feels a bit unexpected. However, the main issue is that this bra is so molded into a round, full-coverage shape that the entire top of the bra was totally empty on me. Apparently this is based on the Freya Idol series, as it is exactly the same shape and measurements as the Freya Chi, which is labeled as part of the Idol family.

The ... band of this bra was also a little big, not quite snug, but acceptable. It seems to be the same firm stretch knit as the Freya Deco Soft Cup, but as this isn't really a full band bra, it doesn't feel very secure on me. There is basically no elastic along the cradle, which I prefer for additional stability. It is a standard band with a leotard back, and the straps are medium width with a J hook. However, the cups of this bra are really weird. I've never seen a bra with such a rounded shape, like a tennis ball cut in half. It's rounded, tall, and very closed off at the top. There's several inches of empty space at the top of the cup on me, though the wires fit me just fine. The wires are firm and rounded, with very little give.

i think the cup size definitely runs a cup large, and is also very deep and projected for its size range. This might be good for narrow, projected shapes with tall roots and lots of upper fullness. The alleged "spacer" foam is actually a very thin and rigid foam (it is definitely lighter and thinner than the standard foam on the Freya Idol), so I can't comment on its spacer abilities, but it will not stretch to fit your shape. You must fit this bra perfectly for it to work on you.

The front of the cups is a sheer geometric-textured nylon overlay, and the bra uses hardware of two overlapping ovals, similar to the Curvy Kate Lifestyle's details. This could be a good bra for someone, but it is far from a forgiving fit. This is a great option if Freya Idol is a good fit for you.

I definitely got this in the wrong size, but I think even a cup size up wouldn't fit properly because this just isn't geared towards my shape. Which is a shame because it's a nice spacer bra! I'm close set and this bra just wanted my boobs to be more spread apart. I think it would work well for someone who is wider set or splayed, FOB, and projected.

This bra has molded cups but the material is thinner than the Deco and not enough to prevent nipple show through if that's a concern to you. It is very light and comfortable however, which makes up for that. The cups are about an inch too wide for my narrow rooted breasts but they don't cause any discomfort while wearing like the Deco Strapless did. The apex of the cup is quite high up but even as a full-on-bottom girl my breasts have enough room. In the Deco Strapless there was such a lack of immediate projection that the cups literally folded on the bottom near the wire ... to provide the needed projection. The straps don't dig into my tail of spence which is usually a problem for me but not with this bra! Center gore is a nice height to hold the girls in whereas the Deco Plunge lets them spill out. Cup separation is on the narrow side, but works fine for my breasts that have a 3 finger gap between them. This style is a much better fit for me than others but wish Freya would make narrower wires - my breasts do not extend into my armpit and I don't know anyone whose breasts do!

UPDATE: My breasts have grown and this bra simply can't take the added weight. I've had it less than 3 months and the wires no longer come up to the top of the gore. It has not held up well.
