    Measurements for 30F

    Stretched Band - 30"
    Band Length - 25.5"
    Cup Width - 6"
    Cup Depth - 9.5"
    Wire Length - 10"
    Cup Seperation - 1"
    Strap Width - 0.75"
    Hooks - 2

I've been searching for bras with this shape for a very long time now. And hassling Freya about when they would start making them. Finally they have, but it's a real shame they only start at a 30 because this is possible to make and still be supportive in 28. As well as larger cups. Vertical seams like the ones on this bra are much more supportive and give a better shape than the traditional diagonal seamed bras Freya puts out. These give ... better uplift, projection and rounded shape.

I plan on taking this bra in so it will fit more like a 28. For now I wear it on the smallest hooks and it does ride up my (loosely measured 26" ) back throughout the day. I prefer my bands unstretched to be close to what I measure at anyhow, so 2" knocked off this will put it at 23/28" and I'm inbetween those numbers.

    PROS:
    Cute style and fabric.
Supportive shaping without being thick or rigid (FYI, my nipples, though small, still show through this this "lining". This is not a true padded bra and it will not add anything to your size.)
Decorative trim on top of cups is flat and doesn't show through shirts, neither do seams. (Unless of course your shirt is skin tight, then it will.)
Band fits "true to size" - meaning at it's maximum stretch it measures what size it is. (size 30 = 30" )

    CONS:
Itchy fabric, something in a stretch satin would have been more comfortable, as the straps are a mesh type of lace, they scratch the skin.
Cups run a bit small IMO, I was able to try this on in store in E and F, but the E dug in.

    *ETA*
Band is riding up in side view shots. I'm not sure if it's the fabric, it sort of looks this way on the model too, but there are horizontal wrinkles in the fabric where the seams meet. It must just be a sewing flaw. Of course I didn't have it when I tried on the E, but that's because I was stretching the fabric out completely and very obviously spilling over the tops of the cups (sometimes I wonder if buying this instore is the reason since so many people try it on...it's probably stretched out by the time you purchase it!). Also when I stretch my arms forward (like I did in the front shot) it makes the cups look too big, though they're not. Having tried this on in store in E and F, the F fit better. It is more of in between sizes I'd say. If there was such a size as EE or Barely F this would fit better. The difference in fabric between this bra and the Daphne style causes this one to sit a bit differently on me.

    *Update 10-2012*
The band has been altered to a 26, same alteration that was done for the Daphne. The fit is a lot better. My only complaint so far with these alterations is that I need to make an additional one of putting a dart in the gore due to the "flat" shape the band now takes on from fitting more snug. That and the cups are pretty far apart, but it's a lot better than before as a 30. Unstretched the band now measures 22.5", stretched it is 26.5", rougly 1" larger than my ribcage.

I finally got to try the Freya Patsy bra! I debated getting this one a few times before but was worried about the gore width. I ended up getting this in a small lot of bras in the size 30F. Currently my 30FF and 28G bras fit but these messurments didn't seem far off. This is about the maximum width and height I prefer in bras. The gore is a bit more seperate than I prefer but it's low enough that it's tolerable. It does push my tissue a little sideways into the slightly wider than preferred cups. The gore almost tacks. It slightly lifts up at the ... top and sits on a bit unevenly on the tissue on my larger side. This may be because the cups are a smidgen small for my overall measurments and therefore not deep enough on one or bothnsides, my assymetry or maybe even the band being shifted by my scoliosis. This is a 30 band that Stretches 32+ so it is pretty stretchy. This bra is NWT but had been tried on by the seller, so maybe it started off smaller. I have had one Short Firm Freya that did stretch a little but this is up the alley of being a "#Stretchy Freya band" My underbust is 28 even, so this bra will probably not be supportive enough with wear. I already had to move the Hooks in to the second set but I still can pull it out a few inches on me.(2x3 Clasps) I like the Bl withack Polka Dotanf lace trim because I find the bri h ter color Polka dots to look more Juvenile than my taste. I am debating keeping this bra. I love three part half cups, I just wish the wires were a little closer at the gore (or overlapping) It is so hard to find bras that fit on both sides due to my asssymetry, I would prefer this if I could go up a size and ifbit had pockets for cookie inserts, I prefer my Polish bras like my Comexim halfcups/3HC because I can have those alterations to better suit me in narrow projected cups. My shoulders hurt a little bit, but I have postural and other back issues. This bra is cute overall and comfortable in certain ways, I am going to see if I can adjust the band and straps to feel more supportive and comfortable. I have two other Freya bras to try on in the same size but this is the one I was most excited about!

Have you tried Ewa CHPs? I think they would work well for you! When I used to wear bras without cookie pockets I would attach a little Velcro into the cup and I got some bra pads from an Etsy store for a few dollars and I attached the Velcro onto the pad and it would stay put throughout the day. I've also sewn cookie pockets into the bra but it's more work lol

I Havnt yet. I've def tried More Comexims. I've had two unlined S or SM Ewas, and a huge non fitting Plunge. Do the CHP in this size range have cookie pockets at the bottom or throughout the whole cup? That's genius, I have looked on ebay for cookies, and have so much Velcro I could use on the smaller higher side.

CHP has cookie pockets and deep, narrow cups. For cookies, I was on Etsy for sewing supplies and found all sorts of foam and different sizes/colors for low prices. I got 5 pairs for under $20. I recommend searching for "bra pads" or "bra inserts" and then looking for a size that's smaller than the cup you're trying to fit. Sewing and costume shops stock variations. I've also seen them at my local sewing/craft stores.

Bra is perfect projection for me. I thought I'd need something with more padding, but, surprisingly, this gives me a really good profile. The only problem is, it's a cup size too big. The band fits perfect, however, I did have to go down a band size because this Freya band runs big. Even though I think this bra is a cup size too big, it fits REALLY nice! I don't feel squished at all (average projection) and it takes away my pointy look. Such a relief!! I will be returning for a 30E.

The strap fabric is kinda scratchy. It got a little better after the first wash, so I hope they soften up over time. Like most of my other Freyas, the gore hurts my sternum but I noticed these seem to break in after a few wears so I'm not too concerned. Gives a good shape under my clothes, however, the lace shows a bit with thin shirts but not as bad as you'd think. Also, the band is on the middle hook, so I'm on the lookout for a 28FF to try.

About me: dense, center full and close set, full on bottom with tall, sloping vertical roots and narrow horizontal width.

How cute is this fabric?! Another take a finding a padded Comexim 3HC dupe, but, again, the material being less structured combined with the structure of the bra being open on top makes me feel like it's not a very secure fit. The cups are also too wide for me.

Wide/long wires. Not suited well at all for very fob shaped. Wide gore, about an inch.

Bra is practically impossible to alter unless you want do so some serious tailoring.

It is smooth under shirts, gives a nice shape assuming it fits allright.

Very lightly lined. The fabric feels quite rough, the mesh is a little bit scratchy.

This bra is my current favorite bra - small amount of padding, the cups are the perfect size, fits great under my arms, I barely even notice I'm wearing it! The only things I would change are the lace detailing on the top of the cups so that it can be worn with thin t-shirts and the fabric feels a little cheap. I'm definitely looking to buy this in other colors. 9.95/10 super great!!

Really cute pattern, fits really well (and easily because of the soft fabrik).
