FYI: i bought this as a sizing check and intend to return it, so i haven't been able to wear it for more than a few minutes to assess fit. i cant speak to how this would wear during the day, when many fit issues usually crop up because im moving around more.
patsy has to be made of some of the most uncomfortable fabric *ever*. even if it fit perfectly, i would never keep it. its so scratchy! its some sort of a weird tulle overlay. it's especially bothersome on the straps. the seam of the fabric overlay sits right in the middle of the inside of strap ... against the skin, and feels like its going to rub me raw even though i'm only putting it on long enough to review it. they are fully adjustable though, so that's a plus. its a shame, because the peacock colorway is very pretty. this fuchsia one doesn't do anything for me.
i have definite overspill on my left side. once i push the wires from the gore into the armpit (i do on most bras to get more side coverage and a lower gore) it becomes even more obvious, and starts spilling on my shallower right side as well. the band feels like i could comfortably wear it on the middle or first, even the last hook, but its made of that annoying thing mesh with elastic bordering on the top and bottom so any setting makes my fleshier back look not so good minus. i would likely want a 32 band with an extender so i could get more wear out of it, because 34 bands always seem too loose when new.
the straps feel too wide set in this, and get caught in my underarm. it is both uncomfortable while still and leads to some awkward bra shifting as my underarms push the cups forward when in motion. the wires good width wise, and are actually pretty much the exact same width as the 34F Thimble Cottage bra i got in the same order. they hardly feel like different sizes, aside from the straps being wider set in Patsy and the very slightly smaller amount of overspill i got in the Thimble Cottage.
if i were to stay with the Pasty cut, i would recommended the Thimble Cottage bra because the fabric and straps are so much improved. i would probably take this cut in something more like a 32G or 34FF, depending on how the fabric choice affects the band tension.
