I have the 30FF Freya Patsy Padded Longline Bra (1222) in orange with white polka dots. The cups are larger than those of my 30FF Freya Piper Padded Longline Bras, which I have in Passionfruit (light pinkish floral) and Cornflower (bright blue floral).
The Patsy's straps are too long, which may be why the cups gape at the top. The vertical seamed, half cup construction is excellent for a super rounded, cakes on a plate cleavage, though. Even with the cups/straps too big, I achieve the very rounded half cup shape.
I think the reason why I haven't altered this bra by shortening the straps is the center gore, ... while a typical height for a half cup bra, is too high for me. I haven't worn anything with a gore higher than 2" in about eight months, which is how long I've had this bra. Even 2" gores are too high for me. I really only wear 1.5" gores now, so I'm going to have to take in my 2" gore bras, mainly Prima Donna Madison Plunges, so the wires overlap in the center. That operation wouldn't make the center gores of my half cup bras work, though. Half cup bra gores go higher up my petite torso, to where my boobs are pretty much touching. So I'd go to all the work of shortening straps and, perhaps, taking in the gore of a longline, to achieve a suboptimal, though improved, fit.
The super rounded, somewhat minimized profile of half cups was my obsession for a long time. I've been slow to let go of my uncomfortable bras for that reason. The shape is fantastic. It makes my clothes look sooo good. Not that I'm vain or obsessed with bras or anything. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
