I bought two of these bras - this one (NWT) and one worn once, and they fit very differently (maybe the other one shrank when the original owner washed it?). This one is noticeably bigger in the cups. I thought at first the shape was bad for me - I mostly fill it out, but there's some extra fabric close to the bottom of the cup on the center edge, as well as some extra fabric close to where the center is, where the three cup construction meets. This one also painfully cuts into the front of my armpits, but that might be as a result of my having to make the straps so short.
The design of this bra is absolutely gorgeous - interesting and a little bit cheeky without resorting to overly showy colours, shiny/textured materials or raised ribbons.
This bra fits me quite well, but not as perfectly as the Freya Deco I bought in the same size at the same time - however, I generally prefer unlined cups, so it was good to have. Like on many bras, the straps like sliding down my shoulders unless I tighten them more than I should. The cups both also wrinkle a little bit and aren't quite full at the top (on my bigger side, the wrinkling is very minor, but on my smaller side it is quite noticeable) It is not enough that I could go down a size, but noticeable. It is very comfortable and supportive.
This bra fits quite comfortably - it is my current favourite bra. I measure almost exactly 28 inches around, and the band is quite snug (I can *barely" stick two fingers under the band), but does not dig in anywhere. When I first got it, I had a slight problem with digging into my sternum because the mid-depth-plunge ends right underneath my ribcage, but I gently bent the ends of the wires a milimetre or two outwards and now it does not dig anywhere. I've only had it for a couple weeks, but it doesn't seem to have stretched out at all. The molded cup gives A LOT of cleavage and makes fitting a little fussier, but it seems to fit me almost perfectly.
Boobs are well encapsulated; plunge is low enough for close-set breasts. Fits true-to size, though slightly larger band than Cleo bras. The binding on the edge of the cup makes it feel more solid than the regular Deco, which has such a thin edge that my breast tissue distorts it. Straps are a little bit in the armpits, unfortunately.
Although I doubt that this was the "correct" size for me (it's sometimes hard to tell the difference between too deep and too large), I don't think that this bra would work for me in any size. It seemed quite deep in the cups, and therefore totally inappropriate for women with shallow breasts, like me. Definitely avoid this one if you have a similar shape. Not that I spent much time in it, since the fit was so obviously wrong, but it seemed comfortable enough while I had it on. I would have liked to see three hooks in back, but that's a frequent complaint of mine.
It's good because it gives me a great shape, but I think the cup style may be wrong for me or that the cups are too small. The underwire sits on breast tissue no matter how much I move it, and the centre gore doesn't sit flat, and presses into tissue. The wires are too wide, and the band is quite firm, but could be firmer. I appear to fill the cups until I move my shoulders slightly, and then the cups will start to gap at the tops https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I have this bra in brown and it is the most supportive bra I own. I think this is because the center gore is a bit higher than some others I've tried. I can feel some pressure on my sternum but it doesn't hurt me.
Freya has a bit of a reputation for having stretchy bands but that is not what I've found where this bra is concerned. The band is quite firm and the 28G is perfect for me (my underbust measurement is 28").
This bra is not too closed off on top, so it doesn't cut in too much, maybe a ...bit when I take a very deep breath.
It gives a good shape. It prevents my breast tissue from escaping to the armpit and directs it more towards the front, and I like the shape it gives (more rounded than I would expect from an unpadded bra). The seams are not too noticeable, unless I wear a light white top.
The underwires are lined with a sort of fluffy material so as not to be too uncomfortable. The rest of the bra is a sort of mesh. It isn't the softest material but I don't mind it. I would have preferred it if it wasn't shear, I only tried it because it was on sale, but now I am very glad I did try it. Read more 124 more words
Finally a wireless bra that fits!!! The band is much tighter than the wired deco and is sooo much more comfortable for me. I had previously tried the 28FF (my size in the wired deco) but this fits so much better!
Fyi, this is $40.50 on figleaves.com (ships to US in approx. 1-1.5 weeks) while it's $58 on all the US bra sites https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I ended up getting it for $34 from figleaves since they had a sale.
Love this bra! Fits comfortably and offers great support. The cups are a bit too small for me... compresses and squooshes them into a slight quadriboob effect. Next time will try a 28GG!
Pros- great support, very comfortable
Cons- small cups, straps fit a bit too wide on my shoulders
The bra is gorgeous. The fit isn't perfect though... it's a bit too tight around the cups, and digs into my boobs at the top. I think a 28GG would be a better fit. All in all it is comfortable, gives great lift and support.
Pros- gorgeous, comfortable, great support/lift/cleavage
Cons- tight around the cups, quad-boob effect, gives a bit of a pointy cone shape.
This bra cuts in just a teeny bit because the top edge is a little stiffer than the rest of the top section. It only does it when I pull my shoulders back and is really not a fit issue for me, but my boobs are kind of equally full on the bottom and top, so if you're full on top you may want to alter this by taking in the center gore to turn the cups.
Now that that's out of the way: I really like this bra. It feels pretty in a more utilitarian way. The fabric isn't super smooth, it's almost a little rough, and the diamond patterns are pretty but not in a girly floral kind of way, so it feels like something I'd wear when I wanted to feel tough, if that makes sense. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The pink details do give it that essential touch of femininity, and it really is a lovely bra.
Alas! I've only worn it a little bit as I just received it, but I love this bra! I also own it in bubblegum pink in a 30F. The band on the 30F is obviously too big, even on the tightest hook, and the cup is a bit too small. The 28G is perfect in terms of fit!
Versus the 30F, this does seem to give me a bit of a pointier profile, but not in a terribly bad way. Under clothing, you can't tell. The band isn't riding up on the loosest hook, either!
The lace on the jolie is super soft and very delicately pretty. It's not fussy lace, it seems like it's a little girly and a little more modern. It doesn't show through clothing. This bra is so super comfortable, and I am just so happy to finally have one in a size that fits me(and honestly, in a more useful color than bright pink!!)!
This is too small. I got a 28G because that's my current size in the regular version of the Deco (28GG most everywhere else right now). The regular Deco runs large in the cup and since they don't make a 28GG in this version, I was hoping that it would fit. But no... The cup runs true to size, like some of the Deco fashion colors that I've tried before (namely, the Ashlee and Taylor), which means that I'm out of luck .
Trying this on, the center gore is nowhere near where it should be and the weight of my breasts is pushing the bra down a bit. I would have to go up 1-2 cup sizes in order for it to fit. On another note, the band is very firm and tight, which is very nice.
I also realize that it's been a while since I last had a wireless bra, and I miss the underwire. Go figure...
I recently outgrew my 28FF Decos, and since this bra can't be beaten, I had to go and buy 3 different colors of the 28G. Still my favorite bra.... I wear a Deco almost every day of the week.
As with my regular Deco and Carly, I love this bra. This is beautiful with the teal and the polka dots! Love it! As with the others, I'd have a better fit with a 28GG, but the squish isn't horrible. It's overall very comfortable and I am a big fan!
The only thing I don't love about this bra, which I actually do love in the appearance, just not in the how it shows under clothing, is the ribbon across the top. It's beautiful, but it's a little thick, so it shows through thinner shirts, but again, it's not really a negative, just something I have to keep in mind when choosing what to wear with it. It would be absolutely perfect if it were in a 28GG, but I can mostly get away with a 28G if my top isn't too fitted to show a bit of squish along the top edge of the cup. Other than that, I LOVE IT!
A great cleavage bra and good for very low cut shirts as well. It is very smooth and the body of the bra won't show through even the thinnest shirts, but sadly the cups are thick enough that the edge will show through even a thin knit sweater. It's a great enough cleavage bra and comfortable enough that it's worth getting even with that. I haven't found ANY cleavage bras that don't have the edge showing issue. I do find the Parfait by Affinitas in 30F to fit the same and be a bit more comfortable and seem higher quality, but the two are nearly the same for fit and style
