This bras fabric on the cups is stiff and scratchy with no stretch. The straps are wide set which for me will not work. The wire width seems ok , again for me but the cup height is too high for my full on bottom shape. The band was comfortable and that smooth fabric is soft.
I recently had a breast augmentation, 535ccc ultra high profile silicone implants. This is the first underwire, fitted bra I have purchased since I had the surgery. It fits me perfectly and is very comfortable, with one exception. The center gore digs into my sternum just a bit. It's not terrible and so far I'm willing to put up with it on a limited basis because this bra fits me perfectly everywhere else, makes my new breasts look great, and it looks fantastic on.
For future bra shopping, you may wish to review cup width and projection at the wire. You side view shows the wire sitting on your ribs rather than snugging up to breast tissue. If you go down to a 32 inch band which your measurements suggest, you might find that wires on the ribs becomes tender. Post implants, folks tend to need bra brands and styles that have narrower cup widths.
In regards to projection, it does look like you could use a bit more given the wrinkling. However, comfort and does it look good under a shirt becomes important as a perfect bra is hard to find without alterations.
Regarding the gore, perhaps bras that bring the breasts inwards with a lower gore would work better. Other people have more experience and knowledge and may be able to help.
Go slow, big learning curve, lots to learn, your breasts will change over the next few years. Good luck with shopping for your new shape.
Welcome to our Bra community, and to the wonderful world of implants! There are several of us who are part of the augmented family (myself included) so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
With Ultra High Implants, you definitely want to look for bras that are more projected. My favorites are the BM and SF styles- both by Ewa Michalak, though there are several other options out there, with the best ones being Polish brands,
Paging AGBras to the rescue! AGBras has extensive experience with the majority of the Polish brands, and also has implants, so she can assist you with choosing more breast/implant, and body friendly bra brands and styles. She also has wider set breasts like you, so she will be your best resource here.
Best of luck and welcome to our Bratabase community!
Yup. Your breasts are going to soften and drop - down and in. I had mine done in October and they're still changing... Meanwhile...right now... This bra doesn't have enough projection(wrinkling on bottom of cups is inidication) and the wires are much too wide...you can even see it at the gore side of the wire. There is a lot of space between the breast and the wire. This means you have a cup that is technically too big...in order to get the depth you need, you've had to size up, which increases the width. If you find a bra with wires that are the correct width and have ample depth, your breasts will point even more forward (less east-west). You think they look good in this?! Bwa ha ha. Put them in a bra with narrow deep cups and you'll giggle with glee. You might like to try a 32H in a Gorsenia softcup. I have many and they're narrow, deep and not too expensive.
Feel free to PM me any questions. My pleasure to help.
Thank you ladies, especially AGBras, for all of the information, it is very helpful! Yeah, I just had to have the ultra high profile implants! 🙄😂
MissEmma Once you find your ideal bra you won't regret it, I promise! I have 650cc high profile implants and I can find a good fit so believe me, you will too! 🍀
This bra and Panache Tango Plunge are my favourite bras at the moment. Tango gives a more natural shape, but Fancies is much more rounded and uplifted.
I think the under wire is a great length for me, I do wish it was a hair more 'swoop' shaped than U shaped because I get some wrinkles at the bottom of the cup, but it doesn't affect the support really, just a cosmetic issue.
I don't really love the lace or the fabric on the plain Freya Fancies styles, I think the lace pattern is pretty boring and I think the fabric is a bit stiff, but I suppose that's how ...it gives support. Don't expect this bra to be super soft!
I also don't love the 1 hook fastening, I think it could do with at least 2, but I think Freya does other plunge-balconies that do feature 2 hooks, which is a direction I'm going to go in next.
I'm even fullness, average/wide width, average projection, average height roots and I think this bra fits me well!
Honestly, I'm so relieved to find a well fitting and COMFY bra that I can put all those dislikes out of the way.
EDIT: I tried this bra on with an extender after realising the band was feeling very tight, and I have wrinkles on the top of the cup near my arm pit. I am too short rooted for this bra and the wires are much too wide, I don't feel supported. Read more 138 more words
Have you considered trying Fantasie brand? They have the same parent company as Freya and are similar, but I found them to be far more comfortable when I was wearing a similar size (32G) with fewer wire pains.
I've had a look at Fantasie before but wasn't sure what style to get. I'll have a look, thank you so much! :-)
I usually got the side support style if it helps. :-)
This bra is very comfortable, but I am aware I'm wearing a bra. There is a ton of support (I ran across the street today wearing it and didn't give myself a black eye https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> ). It's great with lower cut or wider cut tops/dresses. It's my go to for fancy events, because even if the straps show, they're still cute!! I also love the pin-up girl look of it. Went to go buy another in a different color, but they only had the black left which is what I ordered.
I have 2 issues with this bra: 1. The underwires go up to high and bother my armpits. 2. The fabric of the bra is stretchier than the seams are, so there is a weird effect where my boobs push the bra out around the cup seams. The top of the cup is nice, but there's a line across the middle of my boobs. Otherwise, it's lovely. (Oh. I accidentally let my red bra sit, wet, on top of this one for too long one day, and now it has pink splotches. Those are my bad and not part of the look.)
Fabric stiff and rough compared to Freya Expressions high apex bra, and also sheer (nipples fairly visible). Wires (and maybe cups) seem to be the wrong shape - I can't quite get them up into the IMF and bottom of cups are wrinkly.
Ugh! I love the look and feel of this bra! And how it has some padding but not a lot! But it just doesn't fit. The tops of the cups are just empty and wrinkly despite fitting great everywhere else. I don't trust my sewing skills enough to attempt altering it. I'll try a cup size down and see if that helps at all.
Also, I wouldn't call this a punch. The gore is like 2" tall and the cups are very full coverage.
Good fit! Wish the gore didn't come up as high so it felt more plunge though. Pretty design and flattering fit. Texture of the lace is sometimes visible through thinner shirts. The top of the band under the arms folds weird, but this also doesn't bother me and might actually give me more movement so maybe it's intentional? Haven't worn this bra a lot yet so time will tell.
I really like this bra, but the wires do go to the middle of my armpit. However, it's not that annoying and it gives my boobs a good shape, even if the cup is slightly too small on my smaller boob.
Love the style and fit. I bought it before I deciphered the difference between US and UK sizing. While it is too large, it is still more comfortable than many of my bras and it is so pretty!!!
Somehow, this bra feels too tight and too large at the same time. The band is really stretchy and I can stretch it out very far; however, the underwires also dig into my sides under my arms. Then, there is a big gap along the top of the cups, so that they only look about 2/3rds of the way full. The gore isn't very accommodating for my center-full boobs and tilts out towards the top of the gore. It's a shame because the bra is so cute!
This bra would be good for someone with tall roots and is FOT. Very open on top and extremely tall to be called a half cup.
I think this is a size too big for me and since I'm pretty short rooted and FOB it definitely doesn't work. The wire width seems good though, which is at least some info I can use.
This actually fits pretty comfortably considering that the cups are too small. The band is comfy and I like the longline style, although the bottom tends to roll up.
I adore the color scheme, fits well, and looks great on until I put on shirt on. Then the profile is conical and I am not a fan of that look. I still will wear it under looser clothing because it is comfortable though.
Profile: Broad shoulders | Narrow boobs | Wide and tall roots | Full on top | Round
Freya bras fit me well in general. This bra won me over to unpadded bras though as it gives a rounded shape but conical like some unpadded ones. It feels like a tailored garment and stunning when on.
The color of the dots is quite saturated so the pattern will show through on light-colored shirts.
