My Impressions: OH. MY. GAWSH. This is the best bra I have ever owned, hands-down. It lifts, it rounds, it holds my large boobs UP and into the well rounded shape I prefer without any much-un-needed "push-up" effect. It has stretched surprisingly little since I got it and I need to buy several more. The cups are molded foam but not too thick, just thick enough to keep the 'headlights off'. Usually if I can find a bra where the cups fit, the underwire does not come up under the boob base and instead pushes at my ribs, grr. This one snugs right up under the bases of my breasts ...and then cups up around them to hold everything nicely! I adore how much this bra *supports*. Now that I know the model I have to run off and get more of this one!
As you can tell by the pictures, it doesn't fit me quite as well as it used to, but it still looks incredible under a shirt, and supports SO well. I'm going to buy a few more of this bra in other band/cup sizes and play with the fit til I have a few I can use as my size fluctuates.
Appearance: I have this in Nude. Yeah, yeah boring. I clipped the silly little bow off the gore because it bothered me. It's not the most exciting piece of lingerie in itself, but how it makes my chest LOOK more than makes up for that, believe me! It's a head turner.
About My Shape: My boobs are about a DD-G (USA) depending on the bra and who fitted me (sigh), and underbust/ribcage is about 85cm. My breasts are set toward the middle of my chest in height, and the bases are not broad but pushed into a bra I fill the cup and usually spill over, ie, more breast tissue than is expected for that base size. Usually if I can find a bra where the cups fit, the underwire does not come up under the boob base and instead pushes at my ribs, grr. They are longer and more tapering than round in general natural shape. They are set an inch or two apart in the sternum. I have broader shoulders. If you are shaped like me, I recommend this bra! I previously owned Pansy in 30G, which I eventually sold because it was a solid cup size too big and gaped terribly. But, being the bra addict that I am, I couldn't stop thinking about it, and decided to re-purchase it cheaply in a distant sister size which I took in to fit as a 30FF.
The print is just extraordinary, possibly the best floral I've ever seen in a bra! It's dark and moody with super realistic deep blue, violet, magenta and white pansies... they remind me of the singing flowers in Alice in Wonderland https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Layered blue and black bows sit ...near the straps and on the center gore, and scalloped black lace covers both the longline band and the back of the matching shorts. The comfort is just excellent... the fabric is super soft and the wires are totally non-irritating. The shape is lifted and completely round with very minimal "padding." The wire width and projection is moderate, comparable to a Fauve or Fantasie halfcup. The only fit issue I have with this bra is one that I've had with all Freya longlines I've ever tried: the band has no boning, so it bunches up as soon as you're not standing still. I've experimented with hooking the last couple hooks on the second column instead of the third, but that only delays the issue rather than preventing it. Otherwise, I just adore Pansy and will never get rid of her again!
Such a pretty bra! Unfortunately, the underlying ruffle rides up on my short / chubby torso. Additionally, the half cup style isn't a great fit for my shape.
Very pretty bra in theory. However, I found the wide-set strap base unflattering to my shape, and I also found that the bra itself made my breasts look very wide and flat from the front.
I love the look this bra gives, with the perfect rounded breast top and a nice, smooth line at the top of the cup. However, the print on the bra isn't very appealing and I will be waiting for a cuter print to keep this bra.
Prior to reduction surgery, I owned a deco that did not work at all - my breast tissue just all migrated to the center with no support. However, post surgery, Deco is one of my favorite bras. The smooth cup is invisible under clothes, the firm band helps hold everything in place, and the separation is great.
3 part cup that has very cute accents on the straps and center gore. The style isn't the most flattering for fuller breasts, and the seaming is visible through clothes. Great fashion bra but not an everyday style for me.
Hi!
Looking at your pictures, it looks like you could go down one band size and up one cup at least?
It looks like the band could be a bit tighter on you :)
