This bra is IT. Of all the Freya padded half cups I've tried, this one hands down has the best (shortest) cup height for me. I have shorter roots and pendulous tissue and the Thimble Cottage open/short cup is perfect for my shape. I love the pattern--it's feminine but not overly girly, and the lace details are perfect. I wish all of Freya's half cups were this short! Stretchy band, as is status quo for Freya, and the shorter gore also works well with my shape. My only complaint is that the undersides of the straps are hard to clean. They have a woven layer, and if some grime gets on there--sunblock, lotion, skin cells, etc.--it can be hard to scrub off. I can't be mad though, since the woven layer makes the straps soft and comfortable. I love it.
The band feels too tight. Maybe that is just because I normally wear a 42, but I don't like this feeling. The band rolls up when I move, around my rolls, but the bra doesn't actually move. The wires feel like it is poking in on the sides, and my fat is pushed into my armpits, causing uncomfortable rubbing. When I first put the bra on, my breast tissue was spilling out the cups, slightly, but as I moved around, the fat readjusted ( I think it really is fat, not breast tissue) so it was bulging under my arms instead. This is one of the only underwire bras I have ever put on that didn't feel like the wires were poking into my ribs when I bend over. The pictures look like the straps cut into my shoulders, but they do not, I actually have ruts on top of my shoulders if I am not wearing a bra, the straps are comfortable except in my armpits
This bra is just overall too big. The band is too loose and the cups are slightly too big. It's comically large on my smaller breast. It also just wasn't terribly comfortable on my sternum. I think the wires bend strange, as you can see they seem to lift away from my body in the middle of the underwire. Not quite sure why.
This bra is supercute! I love the pattern and the lace at the top of the cup is a good match. I like the fit of the cup, which is similar to Strawberry Fields but perhaps a smidge shorter, and it's very comfortable. The band is stretchy, like all of Freya's bands. There is some empty space on the inside of each cup because my breasts are widest, but the cup doesn't lose any support because of that.
I've received compliments from everyone to whom I have shown this bra--they absolutely love the pattern. I do too! The construction of the bra is excellent and it's very comfortable. The Strawberry Fields band is similar in stretch to Freya's other half cups. The height of the cup isn't quite short enough on me that I fill it out completely, there's about a 1/8" gap all the way around the top after I scoop and swoop. If I could remove the top line of the cups--where the green embroidery is--it would fit perfectly. But the gap isn't enough to make a difference under tops, and it's still supportive. The projection at the wire is sufficient for my pendulous breasts, but the gore isn't quite wide enough for the wide set of my breasts, so there's a little gapping on the inside of the cups. I'm accustomed to this, though, and again, it isn't enough to make a difference in terms of wear. This bra is one of the closest I own to a perfect fit.
The good: the fabric is pretty, and very soft. I loved the bow and pattern on the bra. The shape it gives my breasts is amazing. Seriously amazing. It's the perfect uplifted and perky but not pointy shape. I wanted to love this bra so badly!
However.
Technically, it should fit- I bought the recommended size based on the fact that this was supposed to be larger in the cup than the Deco convertible I tried. It did not fit. I had quad boob after swoop and scoop, and the cups (while being wide) were not tall enough at the sides, so I had breast tissue pushing out over the sides and top. It felt like I had to constantly adjust so that everything got into the cups. I liked this enough that I'm considering buying it in a 38F to see if that helps the problems.
My first properly fitted bra outside of Victorias Secrets. The good: It supported me like nothing I had ever wore before and clamped everything into place where it needed to be. The straps are good and adjust properly, the fabric is sturdy. The cups are lined with a thin layer of foam so they are not sheer at all. As this is a half-cup bra, the straps may sit a little far out to the sides for some, but were fine for my broad(er) shoulders. It is very comfortable for daily use.
The downsides: after a week of wearing I'm considering buying this in a small band size (I bought a 38 initially) because it is feeling a little loose. It holds my breasts in, but I can't help but feel it is pulling them to the sides a little bit. I know I don't have close set breasts, but this style seems to separate them more than they need to be - this could be due to me having a wider ribcage.
I don't get why the Deco gets so much love when it's so much like the bras from VS and Cacique. It's okay, but overall, it doesn't do much at all. It's foamy and plain and moderately comfortable, but feels utilitarian.
Very comfortable, provides wonderful lift and encases all breast tissue on the sides with no signs of migration or gaping near sides, top or bottom.
The fabric is very soft to the skin and the cups are flexible with no padding or molding. The pattern is floral and very beautiful.
Due to different sitting/bending positions, the fabric on the front of the band of the bra tends to roll/fold up, but the back stays put.
This bra is a bit too snug in the band compared to another longline I purchased with this one (Freya Carys), which fit comfortably. The gore is a bit long; however, due to the shape and make of the bra it isn't uncomfortable nor does it poke. The gore is just under an inch wide and sits between both breasts comfortably.

Since it is a longline bra, and due to different sitting/bending positions, the fabric on the front of the band of the bra tends to roll/fold up, but the back stays put. And the straps needed a little tightening for me as the right one would often slip.
The band isn't too snug or too lose. The gore is a bit long and sits high; however, due to the shape and make of the bra it isn't uncomfortable nor does it poke. The gore is just under an inch wide and sits between both breasts comfortably.
I love this bra, it fits well and the cleavage effect is quite nice! I accidentally bought wrong size before I was professionally fitted, and now the model is discontinued so I need to hunt eBay for finding a 38F size of this!
I think this would be closer to your size. Maybe a 40 band would be more comfortable?
