I'm always hunting for bralettes that come in my size range, are made of cotton, and provide at least moderate support. This bralette caught my attention because it's cotton, comes in actual bra sizes (although not a huge range), and was inexpensive (pack of two for $27).
According to other reviews the band runs about a size small, so I got my sister size up, 34D, and it fits me (I'm normally a 32DD). The cup fabric is cotton with a lot of stretch which reduces the support and shaping. The band is stretchy yet quite narrow and thin, so it's prone to collapsing as well as ...putting a lot of pressure on a small strip of area under my breasts which becomes uncomfortable after a few hours. I do like the wide straps and back fasteners as opposed to it being a pull-over type of bralette. It has a J hook for converting to a racerback.
Overall it is fine as a lounge bra. But it doesn't provide enough comfort to wear to sleep, or enough support to wear out of the house, unlike other bralettes I own. Read more 81 more words
I bought a 2 pack (black and beige). They fit like a loose band 32D. They are comfortable that is for sure. The band on this 24 stretches to around 32.8". The cups un-stretched measure at 6.5", but can stretch to 8" in depth. So very good for uneven breast like mine. I wear these on days when my back is hurting or just lounging around the house. The gore is a tad wide toward the top, but doesn't hurt even though it's slightly pressing on breast tissue. They are made of a cotton rich jersey knit type of fabric, in both cup and band.
The was my favorite my favorite bra for the longest time. Super comfortable and flattering....I wore so much strap has almost ripped and is holding on by a thread. I have a safety pin holding it together. The straps, even in racer back from, are super long which prevents it from riding up but also makes it incredibly difficult for me to keep the bra where it is supposed to. So, the bra is constantly slipping downward. I do not wear ever any more because of this. It appears to be the only pre-BoB/BtB bra I own where the cups have not begun to deform from my breast sitting more on the outside/top portion of the cup. The cups have padding built along the bottom/half and outside of the bra. Just like my purple w/lace bra it gets me two cup depth measurements 5.5" through the deepest part/above the built padding and 5" along the padded section of the cup.
I actually love these for lounging around in. They don't provide a ton of support but my size/my body doesn't require much. Only selling to make room in my drawer for "real bras" https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I know they are calling it a bralette but definitely more of a bandeau with straps? Because no individual cups but the straps do help with lift. How do you define it ladies? Either way, it's super comfy and can wear on those days when just thinking about putting on bra makes you groan out loud.
Pros include: *super cheap *it is the best wire free, unpadded option I've tried
Flaws include: *the band size being labeled incorrectly as 38; band measured in the average bracket of my other bras of 34 *the soft elastic straps cannot be tightened enough for a large bust, thus not giving as much ...lift as I would prefer *I've def poked holes through the back band while taking it on and off because the fabric is so flimsy *the extra lace bit on the bottom edge rides up on the front for me; not sure if this is a normal problem though or because the straps are too long and breast slightly resting against chest

I bought this bra in a 40C as a sister size to my normal 36DD, and I guess it works okay. Support is good, and comfort would be good too if I didn't get poked by the wires under my arms as much. It's a plain bra that I just wear when I'm lounging at home, but need some support for my back. It has no padding so I don't wear it out because I don't like nipping in public. Guess I could use swimsuit cup inserts or something but I don't bother with it when I have bras I like better. Also, I got it on clearance, I wouldn't have bought it if not for that.
So far this is my favorite bra...its good to wear but after a bit the underwire does hurt and pokes me. I do love the color of it and the sparkles it has on the cups.
This bra was quite comfy when I got it. I only wore it around the house since it is not padded at all- doesn't cover nips well. I think the only reason the cups worked though is that they are so stretchy. In a molded cup I would have needed at least a cup size up. The band very quickly stretched out to the point where it no longer gives any support.
It's the wrong size for me. The band is too loose, the cups are too small for me. It's still almost new and the inside of the wings of the bra are coming loose from the band.
