    Didn't fit

MY SHAPE: projected, even top/bottom, center full, tall roots, narrow roots.

THE TAKEAWAY: A soft mesh embroidered cup, with a strip of elastic running across the top that might give FOT / tall-rooted people trouble. Projection is probably good, and I _think_ it's doing a good job of handling my center-fullness, but see the details for notes. The bottom of the cup is lined with a second layer of mesh; the top of it is not. The embroidery on this bra is too thick for it to be a proper t-shirt bra. This 70H only _hard-stretches_ to 32", so it's a little small in the band.

DETAILS: Initially, this bra ... fits well, if a tiny bit small -- but I've got a case of Period Boobs, so that would probably indicate a good fit, and that this 70H is solidly comparable to a 32FF (my 'usual' UK size, though increasingly I'm taking 30G). But on trying it on again just now, I noticed that I was getting rather more serious quadding. I'm going to try a band down and a cup up, to see whether this is a size issue, or a shape mismatch. I'll update the projection / center-full notes when I do!

I'd also call the cups potentially itchy, especially on the top panel where there's no lining between your tissue and the embroidery, but if I wasn't itching (haha, pun) to try another size, I might assume it'll soften up after a few washings. (I don't break out or anything, but I am somewhat sensitive to 'itchy' textures; I absolutely cannot wear wool right next to my skin, even merino wool, because of this.) It doesn't feel super expensive, probably because it isn't. (46% polyamide, 45% polyester, 9% elastane...)

Because the cups are a bit small, I'm not sure whether or not I'm getting good uplift in this bra; I definitely like the shape better from some angles than from others. (I'm not wild about the side view.)

So, consider this review a work-in-progress until I have one that fits...

    Hasn't set fit

Evita is in Gaia's FCB3 family which also includes Flora, Litsa, Emiliana, and Gina. It features the classic polish pieced foam cup, with fine knit cotton lining construction, yet differs with extremely soft coverstiching joining the inner cup seams which is heaven after a parade of itchy american and UK brands using odd linings and finishes inside of their cups. Unlike the other FCB3's Evita has a stunning intricate lace overlay in dusky silvery blues, muted plum, and rosey gold threads. I suppose Evita was released somewhere around 2020/21 but I've not seen it featured on any notable polish lingerie sites so it might have been ... a limited edition, or the FCB3's are much less popular with retailers. All materials from the straps, to cups to band feel high quality, smooth, strong and well suited to a long, workhorse lifespan.

On to the the fun stuff! After buying several other gaia models in similar sizes I've noticed their bands seem to run fairly small which led to great confidence that I might find any 70-75s to run near to 26-28". By the tag I'd translate this Evita 70H to a 32F, except the cup is fuller and the band much smaller making it fit like a 55H/60GG. The cut looks most like a comexim 3HC and fits somewhat deeper at the wire than a 3HC or Gorsenia halfcup. Evita is also slightly taller, and certainly shallower than Ewa Michalak CHP, and has a little forward shaping reminiscent of Cleo's Mimi or Jorja but not as strongly as in the Cleos. Of all the half cups I regularly wear, it most reminds me of masquerade's Delphi. Immediately full everywhere, and nowhere to go but up' which is where this style and I squabble.

For anyone of regular bust height, or average to low bust placement, Evita will feel nicely push-uppy and likely to provide the vaunted cakes on a plate decollete. For those of us who are high set and/or god forbid, very short busted, this one will dig for days into the armpit. Which is why I finally traced a deep curve into the area between the strap and outer wire, picked out seams and modified the armhole accordingly. Do not suggest this style under any circumstances to those who are quite projected, this one *will* create batches on batches of armpit muffin along with the prerequisite consternation.

Gaia is another of the well-known Polish brands I have been trying out via internet buying. Mary was almost but not quite a success! I love the dusty-lavender base color, the lavender-gray stretch lace, the sweet purple flowers on the soft cotton knit. Lined with the same comfy cotton knit, too. Nice design on the completely adjustable straps, firm band with great support, medium width wires that don't poke, terrific half-padded plunge? balcony? for t-shirts and summer clothes. I'm just not quite enough FOT to fill out the upper lace part.
