This bra is so gorgeous! I love the mint green color and the lace at the top of the cup. There are a lot of really nice little details on this bra that I really like. It definitely runs big in the cups in my opinion. I normally wear an 80 F in Ewa Michalak's S cuts and the 80 G in this bra feels huge. The band feels comfy and snug, but the cups are probably about two sizes too big for me. I will be trying this one in an 80 E so hopefully that fits me a bit better.
I ordered this from MagdaBras4you and it came super fast in the mail! It actually arrived just under two weeks. Which is crazy fast from Poland to the United States. Magda is awesome and I will definitely be ordering a lot more bras from her soon!
This bra is really pretty, but unfortunately way too big for me in the cups. I normally wear a size 80 F in Ewa Michalak's S cuts. The band on this bra feels snug and comfortable. But the cups are about 2 sizes too big. I also like that the wires feel a bit softer than Ewa Michalak. I'll definitely be trying Gaia again but in a smaller size. I ordered the really pretty navy blue in the Lauretta, but for some reason the stock photo is the brown version. If you click on stock photos the navy one is in there though.
I ordered this through MagdaBras4you and the bras were packaged super well and shipped really fast. Her customer service is also amazing! I'll be ordering from her again!
I'm sorry that the size is too big for you. But do not worry. I will send you a smaller size :) Gaia bras are really worth recommending.
MagdaBras4you oh no worries about it being too big! I'm very excited and happy to try Gaia. I think I will really like the smaller size :) Thank you Magda!
I love the gore dangle! Sorry it wasn't a good fit. I hope your next one fits beautifully. I love Gaia styles and wish they would cover my range.
My shape: tallish, widish, splayed roots, very close set at the top; evenly full top and bottom; slightly center full; pendulous; need a good bit of depth at the wire. Best fits are Panache 34G/36FF.
I sized up in the band and sized down an extra cup size because of my previous experience with Ava.
This one thing eclipses everything else about this bra for me: the wires are so darn narrow! At 5.3" wide they are the narrowest of any bra I have tried to date. That's not a good thing for me, not at all. I cannot get all of my tissue into the ...cups. It's possible I need a larger size cup in this style as the gore, sides, and cup height are all a little bit low compared to what I usually wear. I'm not sure if 80H will work though because while the wires are pretty firm and almost tack at the gore, the band seems likes it's made for a more V-shaped torso. It's quite snug along the bottom elastic but the wires don't hug my sides at the top. There are only 2 hooks spaced 1cm apart and the back is pretty skinny at the closure, so that could be part of it. Of course all the above things that are disadvantages for me may work better for you!
I love the simple yet not plain design of this and the play of the name "Honey." Not only is it a honey color, but the embroidery of the upper cups is in the shape of a honeycomb. I like the texture of the fabric covering the cups too. It's soft but may not be very durable. Just in handling the bra to photograph it I noticed 2 tiny pulls on one cup. One would have to be very careful storing and washing it. The tops of the cups don't cut in a whole lot even in a too-small size so I think this would be OK for FOT shapes or tall roots. There seems to be good depth at the wire and enough room near the gore for center fullness.
Altogether Honey is well-made of soft materials and very pretty. If you are close to the top of the range for your band size sister size up. Read more 283 more words
I had the same experience with wires in the SS5 cut - very narrow. But in my case it turned out to be a great fit. It was Martha, I have reviewed it some time ago. I was surprised but very pleased. And I think that it is very likely that you need to size up in the cups as I got more coverage in my size (but I am also very petite so this might be the main reason). I like this honey pattern too, looks nice :)
WelshCorgiPembroke thanks for your feedback! I remember reading your review. I bought this on eBay from Other Eden and they don't list what cuts the bras are, just model numbers. Where's the best place to find out more about Gaia's different cuts?
I do think I need a larger cup in this but the wires might still be too narrow.
Swoon: honeycomb ;-) That is a narrow wire!
Love4Pollinators lol, do you have a thing for bees or something? š
I'm very much in love with all creatures :-)
finallygotboobs They have made the comparison of the most popular of their cuts (SS1, SS2, SS5 and SS10) on their website but looks like it's only in Polish. https://www.gaia.com.pl/lp/blog/2016/10/31/bielizna-gaia-bez-tajemnic/ They included only basic information though, there is no reference to breast shapes, so this might not be as helpful as it could be. You might try to translate it using google translate, but I checked it and the result was ridiculous :D I may try to make my own comparison using this article from their site and add my personal experience in the blog post (including the rest of their cuts too as I've tried them all except the SS1) but it requires lots of time and unfortunately I am really busy now.
WelshCorgiPembroke thanks! You did a lot of work as it is! Any time you get around to writing a post like that I will be sure to read it. I've pretty much busted my bra budget now anyway! š
As you can see the bra pushes my beast together far more close than Iām used to. Itās extremely soft but I overflow in the cups. The band with just two hooks doesnāt feel supportive enough.
FWIW, you can get the model information off of the tag. If you take a closer picture of it, I'd be happy to tell you what it says, so that you can enter this in as its rightful model. :)
Ugh, duh. I totally didnāt think of that. I tried to edit the model but I couldnāt.
Jj help please?
What's the new code? A picture of the bra tag can help as well :)
Construction: The bottom material is a light foam with one seam. The straps are partly adjustable but not so long; I only doubled it up a little. The top of the cup contains a thin strip of tape.
Band: The band is about as tight as Panache; if you typically order two different sizes, I recommend the larger of the two.
Cup: The bra was listed as an 80G EU and 36G UK. Obviously both sizes can't be correct, since a UK G cup is roughly I in EU sizing. This seemed one or two cup sizes too small for me. ... It probably is a true 80G, which would make it about a 36FF in UK sizing. Do not trust the UK conversion!
Appearance: The bra has an interesting feature of having a split gore. The bottom part of the gore is covered with fabric and topped with a bow which is about 3.5 cm from the bottom. Above that, there is no fabric between the wires; it is open. At the very top the wires touch and are sewn together. This gives it a somewhat different look. I also liked the striped fabric. One one cup they took care to line it up so it forms a nice V shape by the seam, but on the other cup it is a smidgen off. This fits in with the price; it was not an expensive bra. The red of the bra is very striking; I like the pinstripes. I am less fond of embroidery, but red thread is used to great effect against black lace in this piece. Read more 177 more words
It is such a gorgeous color! š I wish it was used more often in lingerie.
