I had to altered because the back was too strechy. I add some additional band to get a stabil construction. I like to touch the bra, because the satain material is very firm. The cup is from 4 section. Under the arm it is very narrow as all other bras I tried from Fantasie or Freya. It is not proper size for my but I use it at home. The back was not stabil enough. I compare to my usually used Panache Tango. The cup is 1 size smaller as the Tango. The shape is not comparable.
It's not a perfect fit. The cups are bit too wide so there is some empty space at the bottom; however, there's NO quadboob or underarm poking so that makes it a keeper! It is full coverage and supportive. While it's not sexy; it is cute, and comfortable enough for everyday wear.
Cups are way too small despite being the largest available in my band size. No breast separation, gore sits on top of my breasts. Wires are too wide, making my breast spread out into my armpits.
Now the good, I really love how much give the straps have, making it a very comfortable bra. Its the only bra I forget to take off after getting home from a long day. Needless to say, while the quality is OK, the mesh panel shredded within a couple months, deregulating this bra to lounge around/housecleaning status.
This size was my attempt to get a bigger cup size, knowing that the band would be definitely too big (since it doesn't come in 34O/34K, I have it in 34N/34JJ and think I need a bigger cup). I figured if the cups fit well, I could tighten up the band and maybe it would work well enough.
Yeah, not so much. The cups still don't fit quite right and I have to adjust the straps all the way tight, and then the slider doesn't stay.
The Elomi Caitlyn does come in a 36K and the cut is similar enough to the Keira that it is worth a shot IMO. On the Caitlyn the cups are deeper though and for this reason I can take the Caitlyn one cupsize down from the Keira.
thanks for the suggestion, I did actually try the Caitlyn (http://bra.pe/Rez/) I tried a 34JJ and a 34K and neither really seemed right. Maybe it would fit differently in a different color or something. At least it comes in a 34 band, though.! I really need a 32, but could settle for a 34. (part of why I was willing to try an alteration on the Kiera is that it's so cheap! Caitlyn is a lot more)
How was the Panache Tango II Balc. in 32K? You didn't set a fit on that bra. That is the closest thing in fit and size to the Keira in 34JJ. Did the wires poke you? Other issues?
If the wires of the Tango were poking you, you could give the Fantasie Kara Fullcup in 34K or 32K a shot.
