A really pretty bra! I love Gorsenia's attention to detail. It has gorgeous black and dark salmon lace that match the cup and straps. It's a full cup, which means the top of the cup is a little loose and the bottom is almost too tight - typical for me. If you're close set, you might have a problem with the gore overlapping like I do, and it can be stabby. The wires seem wide (not at as wide as Curvy Kate for reference), and the straps sit wide as well. This is annoying because they're always sliding off my shoulders. The sides of the cup also run really high into my armpits. It's not the perfect fit for me but it's adequate. It gives a nice rounded appearance under clothes. The prettiness makes up for some of the fit issues.
I'm not sure what to think about this one. It's seriously gorgeous and has a luxurious feel to the material. However, it comes with some drawbacks. First, no matter what I try I can't get the gore to tack. It sticks out a lot as though the band was super tight, or the cups super shallow. I tried an extender to see if the band was the problem, no change. I've adjusted straps, no change. I've tried bending the wires. That helped a bit. The wings and cup sides go so high that it's tucked in my armpit. Again, changing the straps didn't really help. I was expecting ...there to be a lot of wrinkling at the top of the cup but there isn't - this one is very closed on top. I checked my measurements several times, and I'd say this one runs small in the cup. What I like about it is the top edge of the cup cuts straight across on my shape, so it looks like a lace cami. If the gore tacked, I could easily forgive any other flaws because it's so pretty. ETA: I've worn this for an hour and I can't count how many times I've had to shove the straps back on my shoulders. I'd heard that Gorsenia gets wide-set in the straps and this is one of them. Bummer. Read more 121 more words
The strap situation is awful! I have to wonder if they test these bras on real people...
I was thinking the same thing this morning! I only paid $15 for it, so it's not worth returning, but I kept wondering if their test models have football player shoulders!
This was my second attempt with this bra. I bought it first in a 75J like my other gorsenia bras -i used to prefer my band comfortable loose -but it was riding on my back. Didn't offer support. Its band is too elastic compared to other gorsenia models so i had to size up 2 cups and size down in the band. I would prefer a 65M as its cups are not that deep like my other gorsenia bras but comes only up to an L cup.
Fits well, I did size 1 cup down from my usual size. Band is firm, cups are comfortable. Slight wrinkling on the top/sides (I suspect from the wire being a bit too wide for me). Fabric feels on the stiffer side and a little itchy for sensitive skin.
This bra runs very deep in the cup, I personally would size down 2 cups from my regular size. The wires are narrow enough that they do not at my armpits. I do wish the straps were closer together, but that is my only complaint.
Attina 35062 65L I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
Attina is a soft unpadded underwire bra in black. It has smooth nylon cups with sheer lace on top. The bottom nylon has stretch to it, but the upper lace does not. I tried this bra in both 65L and 65M, please see both for full details on sizing and fit.
The band of the 65L measures 24.5” to a max of 31” with 3 hooks and 3 rows of eyes.
Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between ...the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 11.75”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance. This measurement is: 14.25”
I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.
It has a lot of give, but only on bottom as the top lace has no stretch to it at all. This ends up flattening the breasts on top, giving an uncomfortable fit and unappealing look both in and out of clothes. If the cups weren’t too small, I am sure this wouldn’t be as much of an issue though.
For me, it wouldn’t tack due to fullness and it flattened my breasts. I didn’t get any quad boob, but the fit was less than ideal. If the lace on the top had stretch to it, this would be a nice fitting bra. The straps were too wide set and not comfortable. After 15 minutes of wear, had to remove due to the straps and curve of the side cup digging into my arms/armpit area. I had a deep red mark in my armpit for hours afterwards.
