This is one of three Gorsenias that I snagged from Jagna.pl they are having a sale on Gorsenia a.t.m. This one is the most exciting visually because it has some gold/silver bling! Which is a trend in the Polish lingerie this season. Interesting how the band is just slightly tighter b/c of the darker colour (comparing to beige). But very comfortable, these band feels perfect for 77/78 cm underbust, imo. Pretty : )
Fit: Fits like a tight 32GG or a looser 30H. Wires are a bit wider than average for that volume. The wire shape is U-shaped but not as dramatic as some. Shape is projected and rounded. A very good amount of room at the wire. As for center fullness/center projection, for me personally there wasn't enough room for my center fullness but I need quite a bit, but a lot of reviews praise this model exactly for that. Maybe it's just a bit too wide for me (I need very narrow wires) and the proportion is just wrong for me.
Constructon: Bottom section of the cup has two parts. ...One layer of strong non-stretch material. Very flat vertical seams! Top section is two layers of white or near-white tulle (can't really tell), top layer embroidered with golden beige, lighter yellowy beige and white for outlines. There is a strip of see-through plasticy material sewn at the top edge of the cups, on the inside. Center gore is also of the same material as the top section but reinforced with a seam in the middle - they have also chosen a heavily embroidered part. They've made an interesting choice with the band here - the elastic is cut at the gore and overlapped at an angle (see photo). Quite clever as it allows the gore start higher than a regular full band bra. Soft side boning, ends tucked under band elastic so they don't poke. Side wing is a single layer of stretch mesh. Three hooks, three rows. Straps are fully adjustable, moderately stretchy. Strap elastic seems pretty thick BUT seems to be prone to popping a thread when under strain. There's a bit of a wave thing going on (see photo). I only wore this bra once, maybe twice. Putting the elastic under strain doesn't seem to do anything now. Maybe it just loosened where it had to? No idea.
Appearance: It's a bra meant to be worn with white or slightly sheer-ish shirts and lighter Caucasian skin tones. It's slightly lighter than the average beige bra, and has a hint of yellowy peach. Beige bows where straps connect to cups. Center bow fell off the first time I wore it. Oops. Floral embroidery on mesh adds an element of interest to what would otherwise be just a beige bra. The embroidery is done in three different tones to create a gradient effect and contrast. It's not necessarily my thing but skin tone bras usually aren't my thing ever, so it's just my taste. For a skin tone bra it's lovely. Read more 322 more words
This is a very nice bra I got from Jagna.pl, in their up to 60% off Gorsenia sale. Actually, I got a total of three Gorsenia bras! They all fit the same! I've only ordered the same size, 70I, in Gorsenia and they're all consistent, but I chose the styles that are good for a full on bottom shape. I measure about 32GG UK, FOB shape, narrow and center-full boobs. Gorsenia bands are quite stretchy, and they're different from the two Nessa bras I tried out recently. I definitely prefer a 70 band. This beige is the perfect nude for me, even though I know I'm channeling Casper, the friendly ghost!
Runs a full cup size big. True to size band. Deep cups. Decent room at the center gore and the bottom of the cup. Wires are a narrow U-shape, rounded on the bottom, almost vertical on the sides. They are slightly soft and may flex a little wider when worn. Straps have low stretch, are fully adjustable and are slightly thicker but proportionate to the bra. Has non-poky side boning - the tips are positioned under the strap elastic so they don't bother me in the slightest. Three hook band makes for a sturdy fit and despite the vertical wire shape and full band construction the side wing ...isn't very tall.
I rated the looks as good because there are a few elements that cheapen the look. The point of interest of this bra is clearly the strappy detailing but the double layer of mesh that comprises the upper section of the cup and the center gore looks very nice in person too and makes the bra look sexier and more low cut. This might be necessary because the center gore is clearly very high and they've used embroidered applique to disguise where the thin straps attach. The same detailing is used on the sides to disguise attachment at the straps. Also, there's a smaller applique along the outer edges of the cups. Sadly these look a little bit cheap. They're removable but on closer inspection that would reveal some not so nice seaming work. I'm also not thrilled by the shiny black fabric used for the lower sections of the cup, it does look cheap. I wish they'd use the reverse because it is much less shiny and matches the band material much better, and the shiny side would be softer against the body. Read more 186 more words
Hmm, well the Lingerie Addict says I can't have all three: good fit, low price, and a beautiful design, but I'm going to have to disagree with this. Case in point: this Polish bra that I bought for Polish prices!! When I first opened the box to examine this item, I was so impressed with the Gorsenia's workmanship: so many small seams!! And they all look perfect! At first I thought the bra would be too small, but I tried it on - perfect fit! And I instantly knew why Gorsenia is such a popular brand. the shape is very narrow and projected. In my size, it has ...very deep cups (I've read in the larger cup sizes, the cups can go a bit wider though...not sure if that's true). Also, the strappy element (straps above the cups) in this bra are not just decorative, they're actually functional, as they keep the shoulder straps from going too wide. I compare this style with another Gorsenia bra that I got at the same time and in the same size (Amaro), and I think the stappy design element definitely improves the fit and comfort. If I buy another Gorsenia bra, I def. want to keep ordering their bras that have the extra strap (gore to shoulder) design element. So, I'm glad I gave this bra a whirl. I think the fit would be similar in the Gorsenia Paradise, but I have not tried any other Gorsenia bras besides those two..so I'm not sure if the sizing applies to all Gorsenia bras. As far as sizing, this style runs about 2 cups large in my size range: when I ordered this bra I was measuring at 32GG UK/70K EU size, but I looked at all of the data on bratabase & ordered two cup sizes down, which ended up being the right size for me. Overall, I would say this is a "bra win." I ordered from misterna.pl on their 10% off Christmas sale -really enjoyed ordering from them, and I would like to do it again; I'm giving this bra 5/5 stars for quality for the price.
This is a nice bra, and reasonable quality. It is lightly padded, the band has a good amount of stretch the wires feel flexible but the band being stretched didn’t distort them. I think it’s a mostly a shape mismatch for me and maybe little big.
It fit close enough to wear if everything else is in the wash but I am definitely still searching for a good light colored bra.
I think it would fit someone less bottom full and more side full, as I got some quadboob in the center but gaping at the upper sides and space by the wire I think the top is a little high for me. There is not enough immediate projection close to the wire for me but it’s not a shallow bra either the projection is just more centered in the cups giving it a somewhat pointed shape.
Ooohhh it’s very pretty!!! Definitely gives you a great shape.
