When I first tried on this bra, my immediate reaction was “Wow, I could put someone’s eye out”! But my guy walked in and said “Wow, that looks GREAT!” So I tried on a blouse to see how it would look in it’s natural habitat (under clothing!). This bra corrals my breasts firmly into place. I like the projected look; it’s slimming, especially in a fitted outfit. A wider underwire allows more spread. I have had this bra for a couple of years, and wear it about once or twice a month. I only hand wash and air dry. The band has stretched only slightly. If ...I gain a few pounds, I use a bra extender with good results. My shape had changed (gravity!), but this is still my favorite bra. I wouldn’t call it super comfortable, but I like the support. It’s not a “vacation in the tropics” bra, but more of an “out on the town” bra. I have a few @gorsenia bras, but this @75F - Gorsenia » Caren (K447) is my favorite. Bratabase really helped me to understand bras and breasts and how to find the right brand and fit for ME. Some may not like the “corralled” feeling that the narrow underwire provides. Any other narrow wire lovers out there? I’d love to know what your favorite bras are. Read more 125 more words
yesss. I love the narrow underwires of Comexim. The first time I tried them, I thought to myself "this bra makes me boobs look so youthful." LOL. And I have not looked back, lol.
I know some people prefer the wider wires of the UK bras, I do not. I understand it's a matter of preference, but I don't like that shape of pushing the breast tissue to the side and making my breasts look wider. I think it's very aging, TBH. But to each their own...There is really a whole world beyond UK bras. Not sure that many in western world understand that? Lol.
edit: *my* boobs
BraOdyssey : “Me boobs”, I just figured you were a pirate! lol Totally agree with you regarding width and spread. I should give @Comexim another shot. Tried once but ordered too small and almost strangled myself. I have had the crazy thought of buying narrow wires and replacing those of a wider set bra. Wonder if anyone has had success with this? I have yet to find a smooth, unlined bra with narrow wires. @Wacoal Barely There with the front closure comes close. Maybe I’ll use it with narrow wires from an old @Gorsenia to create the “Frankenbra”.
WOW, a bra that fits, lifts, projects and doesn’t gape at the top. This bra has a deep, narrow cup that holds all my breast tissue and gives me a great shape.
I found the pictured Gorsenia bra on Zulily. It was priced at such a discount, I went for it. I put it on, correctly, and looked in the mirror. At first I thought “Holy cow, I could put someone’s eye out!” Then my husband came in and said “Wow! That looks great!” Dang if he wasn’t right. I put a T-shirt on and I loved the way I looked! I always thought my large breasts made me look heavier than I am. This bra puts them in their place and makes me look thinner! I like the projection, and lack of East-West spread.After wearing it for a few weeks, and washing by hand a few times, it still holds it's shape. the band loosened up a bit, which was a good thing.
mandapandarawks I am glad that I can help. :) Yes it's true! Gorsenia bras are within my reach. :)
Looks wonderful. Isn't that what breasts are supposed to do? Put someone's eye out, I mean?! Lol. After nursing, I like to think they're meant to get my man's attention ;)
I've got this one as well as the grey and fuschia mentioned above coming from Magda this week. I love Gorsenia.
It looks like a wonderful fit. Glad you are happy with the shape it provides, that's always a good thing. Confidence building bras are the best!
Thank you for the kind comments :) And I will contact Magda ASAP. Love those other bras!
Hello Magda, so happy to meet you! I am definitely a new @Gorsenia fan! I would love to have these 2 bras shipped to me:
@GorseniaK420 BIUSTONOSZ-MIĘKKI-NA-DRUTACH MADERA
@GorseniaK397 BIUSTONOSZ-MIĘKKI-NA-DRUTACH SIMENA
These are the ones that mandapandarawks posted in the comments of my review.
Do you think I would wear the same size in these as I do in the Caren? Thank you!

I am new to Gorsenia and still in the process of finding my "abtf". I am even set (when leaning 90°), somewhat center-full, and asymmetrical. I've yet to determine my root height, but feel sure that I'm narrow.
The "abtf" calculator consistently puts me between a 34F and 34FF (UK), though I've did that isn't quite right because of my asymmetrical shape. I'm a pretty true 34 band size.
I bought this bra via Other Eden on Amazon, and originally followed their advice to size down in the cup because Gorsenia is known to be so projected. The ...cup was okay, but the 34 band felt very, very tight. I tried the equivalent of a 36 band and E or F cup (again, following their size conversions) and while 36 was a bit better, it messed with the cup shape for me.
On a whim, I decided to try again, this time with a 34G (75G EU size), and had a MUCH better fit! The band felt fine when I went up in cup size, the gore tacked, I don't get as much back fat/rolls, and the cups, while not 100% perfect, are smooth enough without gaping or quadding after swoop and scoop. The stretch lace at the top really helps with my asymmetrical size, and unlike the tulle or mesh top of Gorsenia's Victoria model, lays almost perfectly against my skin.
I found the projection pretty decent, too, though personally, I could use a little more at the wire than this one offers. I have a 2-2.5" difference between my standing and leaning bust.
The wires were a good width and height for me I think, though the straps are slightly wide, which can irritate my tail off of spence.
All in all, this has been my best fit so far. It isn't my holy grail, but I liked it enough to buy a second one.
If you're having trouble with a tight band, don't be afraid to try a bigger cup. It might work better for you despite what the sellers say about Gorsenia's sizing. Read more 248 more words
