    About this Bra

    Purchasing:
    * $34.63 on Amazon with free Prime shipping & returns (not Amazon Wardrobe)
    * Available in black, white, nude, and some fun colors.

    Band:
    * Inner layer of stretch mesh. Outer layer of sheer, stretch knit.
    * Elastic at top of band.
    * Wing support: no seaming or boning
    * 3-piece band construction
    * Back close with 3 columns of hooks.

    Straps:
    * smooth elastic with lacy edges
    * soft (don't stand up on their own)
    * full adjust
    * leotard back
    * CENTER PULL

    Cups:
    * seamless, soft full cups
    * unpadded, flexible underwire
    * Made of a very sheer knit with only horizontal stretch. Unlined.
    * Has an inner side support sling made of two layers of stretch mesh. ... Covers just under half the cup.

    Fit

    About me: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts
    * average projection
    * wide-set (3 fingers width of space between breasts)
    * very wide roots (extend past the mid-axillary line)
    * even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full)
    * short root height, average vertical placement
    * mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away)
    * conical shape (but will squish to round)
    * full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue
    * petite (5'3") so have narrow frame
    * front (anterior) rib flares

    Band:
    * length: way too big (even on tightest hook)
    * wings: too short, boobs escape
    * no axillary skin spillage

    Gore: Comfortable, tacks, good spacing, height fine.

    Cups:
    * Far too big. Gives no shaping, just covers breasts.
    * Wires too narrow.
    * Top of cup smooth. But only because there is elastic on the top edge of the cup. Cup is expecting more upper fullness than I possess.
    * Bottom of the cup wrinkles.
    * Apex of cup is higher than my nipple (probably because the bra isn't providing any support).
    * Don't be fooled by the stock photos. This fabric is very, very sheer. Everything shows. (This is a pro or a con, depending on your goals.)

    Straps:
    * feel widely placed but are not slipping
    * adjust short enough

    Fit Under Clothing:
    * Almost smooth under a thin T-shirt. There is a contour change visible where the side sling ends.
    * Not visible under a V-neck.
    * Visible in armholes of sleeveless shirt.

    Comfort & Fit Summary
    * Band too big. Cups too narrow and projected.
    * Try a 30F - down one band and one cup size. (Will review separately.)
    * Band is so big that trying a 28 band (two band sizes smaller) isn't crazy, but this style is only made in 28G, 28H, and 28I. Based off the fit of this 32F, the cups of a 28G will probably be too big.

    I got this bra and the Parfait Kelly at the same time. They both suffer the same problem - those goddamn slings. For those who are unfamiliar, it's a piece of stiff (read: nonstretch) fabric inside the cup, and the rest of the cup is made of stretch material. Unlike, say, the lovely Claudette Paramour, whose lower two of its 3-part cups are made with supportive non-stretch material, and the top panel of the cup has stretch. I don't know who designed this sling thing, but they should be fired. What happens when you put a narrow piece of fabric down the outer ... portion of the cup? Gossard claims it pushes your boobs together, but in reality it pushes that one part of your boobs inward, and the rest of it bubbles outward as squishy flesh is wont to do. Maybe if you have extremely firm boobs that are already close-set, which I have neither. So yeah, that aspect of this bra (and, in my experience, all other bras who utilize this "technology" and just make lumpy shapes) is a total failure.

    Moving on. The rest of the fit was okay - it seems like it would be better served by some seams, but I think generally the bra was designed for smaller girls, as I was at the top-end of the range. On the model, the cut is almost like a demi, but mine arrived and was seriously full-cut. In a bad way. First of all, it has this weird-looking gore that basically looks like a v-neck, and the tops of the cups come straight out from that point. Normally, bras will have some swooping so they cover the breast tissue and then get out of the way. Not this one. Since the gore was functioning like a v-neck, and the top of the cups goes out in basically a straight line towards the straps, it covered up basically everything. Not that comfortable, or practical for any low-cut shirts.

    Also, a note about the sheer. It is entirely see-though, which is what I wanted, because it's kinda sexy and whatnot. However, this means that you can also see that dumb sling. And because it offers little by way of support, and the sling butchers my shape, the sheer cups give a window to sad, wall-eyed, droopy boobs. Not sexy at all. I would not recommend this bra to anyone my my size range, because it just ends up making everything worse. If this were my only bra, I would rather go without.

    Fits

    This is the best fitting bra that I've found so far. I have lost some underbust fat since purchasing, so I've had to start wearing it on the tightest hooks. When I repurchase down the line, I will order a 30FF instead. I do get slight wrinkling on my right breast, which is my smaller side, but the cup fits perfect on my larger breast. Whenever I put a shirt on, the wrinkling in the smaller breast is unnoticeable. My main issue with this bra is that the top of the gore starts poking my sternum by the end of an 8 hr work day. I love the ... fit of this so much that I don't mind it. This bra gives a fantastic round shape and makes my breasts look larger than I was previously used to, I think because of how well it supports me.

    As a side note, the side shot looks a bit wrinkly, but I think it's due to the way I was holding my arm for the picture. I generally don't get wrinkling on my larger breast with this bra.
