I was shocked this size fits but it does and I really like it. I can get a tiny quadding towards the inside corner but its not noticable in a shirt and the next cup up was too big. The lace doesn't show under my white tank top either so that is a win! And the back doesn't cause any bulging even though it is so narrow. I like that the straps are also narrow making it easier to wear with more summer options. The first day I wore it I even forgot to take it off in the evening lol. I love that the padding is not thick either and doesn't gap at the top like I typically have happen. The gore is short which also makes the bra more comfortable than many for me.
Tried this in a 30E and cups were too big and band a bit tight so I am trying in a 32DD. Band is good but cups wrinkle a tad. I noticed on the label it says the DD+ cups have the extra sling on the sides and I either don't want them or I'd rather the whole cup be double lined. Since the DD is slightly big I will try a 32D. This bras cups run big to me since I started my journey with 32D bras and all were too small.
I love the shape of this bra, and I think that if I can get the size right, it may work really well for me. Unfortunately, this was *not* the right size.
I measure closer to 30 but wear 32 in firmer bands (like Panache), so I decided to try 32 in this one. That was the wrong choice, as it was much too big, possibly exacerbated by the cups also being much too big. Based just on measurements, the width and depth should have been great for me, but I think it’s expecting breasts that are rounder than mine. And, oh my, the cups are tall.
There is a *lot* of extra space in the wire channel. Measuring just between the actual wires, they’re only 5 inches wide, which could make his great for someone who is very narrow but full.
I think I may size down to a 30DD and see what happens.
Thanks for sharing this! I have been curious about these Gossard Glossies Bras. i didn't realize just how tall the cups were until I read your review and went back to check the fit Information! I sometimes need to size down or just skip a bra when the cups are that tall, they don't look they would be especially so on the models but I guess everyone's bodies are so unique that I can't really base it on that.
Ive been wearing Gossard Superboost bras for more than a 2 years now. It was the first better fitting brand. The bra gives me a nice cleavage, however if it would have narrower wires the effect would be really WOW! The bra is rather comfy but the wires are the main issue, as they dont hold my breasts properly in my correct size leaving empty space on the sides, while the smaller size causes quadboobs. The colour is so beautiful - I think the best out of all superboosts.
Got this in a swap. It's lovely, straps are padded so very comfortable, great quality, straps can be converted to crossover at the back. There's just too much cup for me. Cups are too deep and too long for me, digs in where the cup meets the strap. Would suit an 8E I think.
I love this bra and it's appearance. There are used lightly sparkly yarn in the seams which adds some luxury feeling. Straps are fully adjustable and convertible to the halterneck style. Band is firm side of a 32 and I can wear it comfortably in the middle hooks with my 27' underbust.
I am absolutely falling out of this bra. I'm learning that I'm too center heavy for plunge bras, so it isn't entirely the bra's fault, but the cups are at least a size too small as well. The band is looser than I like it, even on the tightest hook, and it only has one hook per column! I couldn't believe it, I've never seen one like that before. The straps are quite thin and stretchy, but do adjust pretty far. There are two seams in each cup that run perpendicular, and I'm assuming their junction is where my nipple is supposed to go (though it certainly doesn't- I kind of tucked them back into the cups for the pictures). The lace on the cups is pretty.
Such a lovely bra. Fits well, gives nice rounded shape (better than Gossard Superboost Lace Non Padded Balcony Bra (7715) Wires has right length and they're wide enough. Really love the style of it. Although, theres something that i can't wear this bra - the wires dig into my chest, and i can't stand it, even if it fits well, band not too tight, cups fist perfect.
This bra is a little big in the cups for me, fits like a 30E. Can't fill the upper part of the cups and the wings come up too high - not petite friendly. Might go one size down if it will be availbale. I so wanted this sports bra because of the regular hook&eye solution and this lovely black/purple colourway. This is a padded bra with wires. On second day of trying it on and hooking straps racerback it fits much better. I just realised that my right side might actually need this cup size. The padding is really deceiving, at first the bra seemed enormus, ...but it isn't that big now - I could actually get away with wearing it, since it keeps everything in place. Band fits like a tight 30, the usual Gossard tightness. I am wearing it on the loosest hook and holds really well. Also, wearing it like a racerback - crossed straps - the wings are less of an issue. I'm still not getting any plunge effect though, for that I'd defnitey need a 32D. I still have the feeling that the cups should be closer together. Read more 90 more words
I own this bra since a while but I practically have never worn it. There are some little issues that prevent me from wearing it. First, I think the cup size is not right for me, I should have tried a 30dd. I can fill the cups, but they run extremely high on the sides (it’s uncomfortable under the armpits) and give too much coverage. At the same time, the cup edge cuts a little in the breast tissue. The band size is too loose for me even on the tightest hook and I have extra room in the upper part of the band. I also don’t really like the ...one hook band. Concerning the shape – this is a real plunge bra, it gives a nice cleavage and could probably work well with a deep neckline. But I can’t accept the triangular shape it gives in profile. Once again, I think that sizing down would resolve the problem. This bra is very well done and with nice materials. I like the lace on the cups, the soft band material, and straps – thin and supportive.
Unfortunately, a horrible fit. I love my Ooh La La in ivory in 30DD, but slowly it is running small. So I thought, hey let's test the next size, but this time in black. Both disappointing. This bra is much more pointy and big, I can't fill it, perhaps I am between sizes. The inner cup nearly cuts into my boob, and the padding in synthetic instead of cotton like the ivory.
