I wanted to try out a moulded non padded bra and to be quite honest it fits as what I about expected it to fit like, at least at this price. However, I might be misjudging the fit because the band on this is very very loose. I think ideally I would have needed a 28 band in this, it's that stretchy and loose. My snug is around 75cm and this thing stretched to 90cm!
That being said, the real issue with this bra for me is in the cups. It has the little supportive mesh side panel inside the cups ...and normally these don't really disfigure my breasts despite how soft they are but this thing? I think side view photos speak for themselves. Surprisingly, it doesn't look that bad under a loose shirt, but I think anything form fitting and it would look hilarious with this bra. I don't plan on returning it, so maybe I'll just cut out the side panels from the inside? Not sure. The cups definitely have enough depth for me, but the panels obviously don't. Lol.
That being said, imho Gossard always made beautiful bras and this one is no exception. It's beautiful soft lace and the colour is something to talk about. The wires are flexible but also on the wider side, and surprisingly the gore tacks (I usually have an issue with Gossard gores - all of them float).
Overall, maybe I picked the wrong bra to test this out on? Maybe a Chantelle or Prima Donna or Empreinte or Maison Lejaby would have worked way way better? I kinda didn't wanna cash out for those though, because I have no idea how their sizing works and the one Chantelle I ever wore was ages ago. But I digress. Read more 194 more words
The top of the cups is very oddly flattening and it doesn’t look like it’s lifting you at all. To me your under shirt shot seems wider in this bra than the Comexim.
Oh it definitely has no lift past the 'oh your boobs are a little higher than your belly'. Nothing even near a well fitting constructed cup! I think the moulded cup might not be for me? I need the structure and it's just not there eh?
I was under the impression molded cups didn't fit very many people.
Now I know :(
I have one in 30g for sale in case if you want to try band size down :P Overall looks good on you and gives nice round shape! I'd probably try with cutting out the side panels to see if that would fix the cup fit
Lol much as I'd like I think I'll pass, a 30G would even be worse with the side panels and I don't think this bra fitting like this is a size issue anyway. Just not meant for me... Honestly the more I look at the photos the worse it looks to me haha
Weelll if you'd come across 30f or 30ff let me know! id definietly give a try. Looks really light and sexy :D
It looks weird from the side, agreed. You could try Fantasie Lois. It’s got the side sling but it’s better than this. Prettier too, imo. Sorry that this one didn’t work.
Are the straps already let out to maximum length? Sometimes people get that in-cup vertical indent due to excess tension on the straps. But if they don't extend any longer, there is very little you can do about that, unfortunately!
Calluna Fantasie bras do not agree with my tall roots, I've learned the expensive way.
wendybien Yup they are completely let out! I think I'm gonna take this L and move on lol
That looks sooo gooooood on you. Like Wow. You look drop dead gorgeous in this bra. And honestly I am not seeing the issue that you are seeing on the side. The only difference I am seeing is that band is not supporting you at all. I think taking it is in would make all the difference. But each non-padded molded cup bra is not made the same! All those french brands cost that much because they are that much better. Honestly I have never seen someone not love an Empriente bra.
yes LeProfessor That's what I'm thinking about the make. France is rly close to me and I've been planning a Paris trip anyway, for some reason I would rather try those bras on before buying!
You may want to start looking for shops now that actually carry those sizes. From what I have heard it is REALLY hard to find bras in a 32 band let alone over a D cup. Which I kinda don't understand given that their a so many amazing french bands that create bra for the larger busted. Maison LeJaby Elixir is even offering a 28/75 band these days. But in France, apparently 34-38 A-D is whatcha got and I swear 34B is their most sold size. Herroom.com offers free returns, but I can't blame you for wanting to try them on first. I keep staring at them longingly on the computer but can't seem to make the leap. Though I dropped 105 USD for a Simon Perele bra that my niece wanted after she tried it on because it just was so amazing. She is my niece and I can't tell you how many birthdays/christmas's I have missed and I'm like the only women left in her life. So the price killed me, but it was worth it for her first real fitting bra. Good luck and I can't wait to hear about your trip if you get to get around to it!
Me: avg projection, even fullness, wide-rooted, wide-set
So, this bra is something... else. The cups are definitely too small. Breast tissue escapes out the sides and there's quadboobing on top. I'm constantly having to readjust and scoop my boobs back in. When they do stay, I have to admit the effect is... pretty obvious cleavage. Date-night cleavage. Which is a plus, I guess. It just makes this bra a bit impractical.
Another thing, the band on this bra, while very cute, is super thin and dainty. I feel like I'm going to break it just by getting it clasped... I don't see how that can be even remotely supportive. And it's not.
Beautiful bra, no support, amazing cleavage, barely-there band, cool design. For every pro there is a big con.
HOW IT FEELS: This is the 2nd size I’ve tried in this bra. I previously tried a 32F- comfortable, but I wanted a smidge more coverage. The 32FF was perfect. The only spot where I’m even aware of the bra on my body is where the cup touches my arm pit a little more firmly than a strap does.
The low gore is the biggest seller for me. I’m so close- set that gores on the two extremes work best. Super low gores like this hit below the center tissue, and super high gores sit slightly on tissue all the way up. I can do middle height gores ...if I bend the ends of the wires slightly away from my chest.
This non-padded plunge has a generous side sling that helps pull all of my tissue forward.
ABOUT ME: Tall roots, very close set (less than a pinkie width between breasts), slightly center full, even vertical fullness (possibly functionally FOT due to tall roots). Average for projection, root width, and tissue softness/firmness. I think my tissue is soft enough to where shallower bras can work ok for me if they're more open on top, or taller cups.

Okay so if you want to get technical this bra is too shallow at the wire and the cups are too wide, but it’s so cute and comfortable I don’t even care. The gore is super low so no sternum pokeyness and it’s a longline with no boning that lays flat and stays put even if you’re doing a lot of bending and moving around, which is definitely not a given with all longlines. Plus the color is so cute! 10/10 would buy this improperly-fitting bra again.
It's a very pretty bra. But doesn't fit at all! I fit in a 32FF, maybe a G in some brands (UK) and this is rather large on me. The gore does not tack, the cups are hanging everywhere and don't support me at all. The straps only let you tighten up to 1/3 of the way. It's like I'm basically not even wearing a bra, but not in a good way. The straps and band are very thin. This is clearly made for people with smaller breasts, and no mind for those with larger. The fabric is scratchy as well.
Maybe, maybe if I went down a cup size - it might work. But even then, the shape doesn't seem very flattering.
I want to preface my review by the fact that I didn't keep this bra because it is too big for me. The band is really stretchy, so it is not very supportive in my usual size. I would recommend sizing down in the band in this bra (and of course sizing up in the cup to counter-balance it).
This is a really beautiful, well-constructed bra. It's versatile, the detachable straps are of good quality (which I find is rare in multiway bras), and it looks cute. It also feels like it's made with quality.
I'm definitely going to try to order another size to see if it fits me, because I really want this bra.
This bra is really beautiful; it just wasn't what I was expecting. I thought that the bra was an unlined mesh, but it actually has mesh over thinly padded foam cups. However, the main reason I am returning it is because it does not fit me. The band is very stretchy, which ends up making it too large for me.
I chose size 32FF since my 32F - Gossard » Rochelle Deep Teal Staylo Plunge Bra (5251) was a tad too small in the cup and the band was very, very firm. Now I have a bra which is more like a 34FF I guess, since the cups are bigger than in the 32G - Katie Price » (AW09P1) and the band rides up when fastened on the last set of hooks. The wires dig into my ribcage which is not comfortable, and the whole construction is a mess for FOB boobs. I guess a person with more FOT and less firm boobs would find it more comfortable.
I swapped for it with a friend. I had to mend it, since the wires were poking out, and I wore it a few times since for a moment I had no other option.
Pros: the cups seem well constructed and the band does not stretch too much. Cons: the bra was very obviously too big for me, so that is the major con here.
This bra is not the best Gossard bra I have tried... The band is less tight than the Femme Fatale's . The principal problem for me with this bra in a 32FF is that when you rule the straps, the band can't stay in place. It goes up what is a real problem and because of that it has not enough support for me ( Even if the fit is better than a lot of other gossard bras.) It gives a rounded shape. I think I should have take a 30G .
This cup size in other bras is usually good for me or just slightly too small, but with this bra the cups are way too big for me, lots of empty space in the cups.
The top of the cups is very oddly flattening and it doesn’t look like it’s lifting you at all. To me your under shirt shot seems wider in this bra than the Comexim.
