Very short, projected, even, somewhat narrow, close-set breasts...
As I type, I'm lounging in complete comfort on a couch in an underwire bra. When I stand, the all-too-familiar burning sensation will not emerge. I feel supported, lifted and very comfortable.
This bra displays why most gores are too wide down the entire length of the gore. When lifted, my breasts are close-set from top to bottom. Sigh. The relief I feel in this bra...!
There is more jiggle than I like--I won't exercise in this bra. It is perfect for a stroll, but not my preferred, zippy pace. This I will wear while walking with my little ...daughter.
I wear 30FF/30G Curvy Kate and 60M Comexim 3HC. So, 34E, although a sister size to 30FF, was risky. learningaboutbras assured me the band ran SMALL. Delightedly, I can confirm it does: it stretches to 30". Fastening this 34 band on the tightest setting provides admirable and surprising support. I prefer 28" and 30" bands, yet feel fantastic in this 34".
Due to the design, I don't know that there would be enough support for tall roots. I envision them falling quickly toward the open center. But, short roots will love this bra. The cups are relatively shallow, but the cup design accommodates my projected, very short roots well. Because the cups are shallow, this bra is minimizing: no complaints from me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />
The wings are tall, and yet, don't irritate my underarm. This "wall of silk" wing keeps my tissue in front and out of my arm pits.
These measurements are my sincere attempt to capture what is almost impossible to measure. They are very rough and will likely vary wildly from your own; cup width and cup depth.
Silk, silk, and more silk. After six scratchy, worse-than-curtain-sheers Panache bras and their stabbing wires, this bra is heaven.

Thank you!!
EDIT: Whoa!! This is the 1st bra that stays in my IMF. Thank goodness I bought two. The fit is so comfortable, I searched for a third. I will definitely look for continuous wire bras in the future. Literally, I can wear this all day with no discomfort!! Apparently, center full breasts can push most bras out of our IMF if there isn't space for our center tissue.
Extra20 is the discount code. I could not have purchased these full price!
Holy gorgeous!!
So beautiful on you. I want. I deserve silk. I am fat but I still deserve silk in my favorite color. I want to hold the designer hostage until they make one in my size.
Thank you for posting this!!! I have a major gore issue myself & I'm going to add this to my wish list!!!
lacey181 They are 50% off at Journelle plus another 30% off. I so hope you find relief SOON!
I want it so bad but it's 2 inches wider then what normally works for me and pretty tall in the wings. I think I might have to live vicariously through you.
The width and depth are a guess. It was my best attempt. The wires don't bothere and 5.8" is usually as side as I can comfortably go. I thought the wing height would bother me, but it doesn't. Comexim wings at 4.6" rub me raw. I wish my measurements were different, but this bra is unusual and difficult to measure.
I should turn spell check back on....yikes.
The cup width doesn't bother me and 5.8" is usually as wide as I can comfortably tolerate.
I'll photograph, tomorrow, how I measured this unusual masterpiece....you will "see" how wacky the measurements are ;-)
Thanks! i'm so tempted. A uniwire seems like an interesting addition.
lacey181 The model at Nordstrom Rack is not the uniwire. Just thought you would want to know :-)
Ahh, thank you!!! @love4pillinatorS
Love4Pollinators , I'm delighted the Poolside Longline worked for you, too! I used to feel I was the only one who suffered from even plunge bra center gores' height and width. I hope they make a lot more uniwire bras that fit like the Poolside for you, me, and everybody else with the same issue. I'm finding the absence of pain an extra joy in hot weather. You described well the \feeling of relief and gratitude at finding such comfort.
learningaboutbras There is an entire village people here with the same issue. Bra revolution ;-) ;-)
The Great Amazon Prime Wardrobe Try-On, Part 4! My shape: projected, soft tissue, narrow shoulders and roots, FOB Fit: Not sure in what universe this bra would be measured as a 32 band! I couldn't even clasp it all the way. WAY tight. Be warned if you are thinking of grabbing this bra! Wires are quite wide, as well as the straps. Reminds me of the width of Curvy Kate wires and straps, if that helps give a good comparison. Appearance: Pretty black/charcoal lacy bra. The straps have this weird crinkly silver fabric halfway up them? I'm not really all about that, personally.

Delightedly, I can confirm it does: it stretches to 32.5". I knew there was a strong possibility this uniwire bra may become a favorite, but the 34E was out of stock. So, I purchased the 36DD and will alter the band and enjoy both Poolside Affair Long lines. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

I bought this bra while in the Journelle shop in Manhattan. To begin with, this bra is aesthetically really beautiful, in varied blush tones with lighter lace over slightly darker cup seams, a delicate bow, and detailed straps. The band is much more like a 28 than a 30, and is really firm and sturdy with its three-hook closure. As for fit, everything on this bra was perfect, with the exception that it didn't meet my personal shape preference of the look that lightly-lined cups give, but that's not the bra's fault! The band was plenty tight enough for me and the cups fit perfectly, with no ...empty space at the bottom and the lace laying *perfectly* over the top of my breast; quite a feat since the cups are rather full coverage and I don't have a ton of tissue at the top. The gore and cups are also quite narrow, something I didn't expect from any non-Polish brand. The wire channels at the gore are not overlapping, but they are touching, making them narrow enough for me, especially because the gore is rather tall. This bra itched just a little when I had it on, but I imagine that would go away within a few wears if I decided I was going to actually wear it. The actual mesh of the inside of the band and the straps are really soft. Overall I would be keeping this bra if I didn't know in my heart of hearts that it would just sit in my lingerie draw garnering longing looks but not actually being worn! Read more 164 more words
I LOVE this bra! Can I ask about your shape? I am curious to see if it would work for me! Also, what did you not like about how it makes you look?
Kittykat212 I am rather self-supporting, full on bottom/even and have really narrow roots. It's not even that I didn't like it, persay (although that's what I wrote lol) it's just that its not a lined bra, which I like wearing only because it creates a smooth, round shape under clothes, especially under my work shirt where I prefer more coverage and less of a 'natural' shape. The actual shape that the bra creates is actually quite rounded/supported for an unlined bra! Let me know if you have any more questions :)
Top of cup sits well with minimal gaping due to the balconette style. Straps sit very wide to the side of the cups, but stay on shoulders easily. Surprisingly a very good fit,
Medium padding with satin fabric on inside of cup for comfort. Unfortunately, band does not come any smaller and cups were way too small for me - significant quad boobing on both sides as lace cuts into breast tissue. The way the cups are designed it also causes gapping against the top of my breast as well, visible through the lace.
For once, a bra's band width is what it purports to be! The band's elastic material doesn't stretch as much as other bra's, so I can actually wear the bra on its loosest hook!! This very pretty bra's lace cups are not stretch lace. Hence, there is very little give to accommodate asymmetrical breasts. My bigger, right breast ends up with a quad-boob depending on the day of my cycle.
I loved the aesthetics of this bra and hate cleavage, so I was glad to find this unlined, full-coverage option. Unfortunately, though I tried to convince myself that it looked good on me, it just didn't.
I sister-sized to a 32F (my true size is 30G), and the band fit well enough, though there was some gappage between my sternum and the gore (the cups were possibly a bit small for me). My squishy, full-on-bottom breasts were squeezed into a sort of flat spheroid, (American) football-on-its-side shape, spilling into my underarms and making my torso look wider than necessary. Also, the prominent horizontal seam was distorted in a strange and very unflattering way. I thought immediately of a funhouse mirror.
The mesh lining is fairly stiff. The straps are narrow and without much room for adjustment, so if you need lots of support, I might pass this one up.
Very sad this didn't work out. I might try it in a 30G if I can find one, just because I love torturing myself.
Hello secret sexy lacy bra! Didn't anticipate the blush/nude/cream color being anything but boring. Maybe my skin tone? Maybe I have weird taste? But the lace and all the feminine details make me feel like I'm wearing lingerie under my clothes
I wanted this bra to fit so badly but the cup size is not right for me. One boob is doing OK but the other is exploding out of the top of the cup like lava.
ok, i am about to post a lot of bras that don't fit. my reviews truly wont be helpful but hopefully my measurements are. I recently lost 75 lbs, so I need new bras. going from obese to healthy weight, well it is a big change, so I am pretty much starting from scratch. I took my measurements and ordered a heidi klum and a couple panache in the sizes closest, but all were just way too small in the cup, so obviously uncomfortable for me, but i wanted to get the measurements up here for others as once i start to zero in on correct size, I find others measurements helped me al ot with the right brand and style
The band feels the right size, but clasping it distorts the already-wide and very flimsy underwires, and they end up under my armpits. The center gore gets pulled very wide and I end up with two breasts as far apart as possible on my chest and trying to go opposite directions. If I unclasp the bra entirely, I can judge that the cups are pretty close to the right size, but they're still too far apart for my breasts even with nothing pulling on them. It's a pretty bra, but it doesn't fit at all.
I was really pleasantly surprised by this bra, given that it's from a "fashion" range that only just about goes up to my cup size. I got it to wear under a particular dress (needed a balconnet with thin nude straps) and it's a fantastic fit - fit and shape is very like my 32DD - Cleo ยป Jolie Balconnet Bra (7581). Nice widely spaced straps for my wide shoulders, cup fits perfectly, very pretty style. Only downside is that the laciness might show through thin clothing. Seems extremely comfortable so far. It comes in lots of colours, so I suspect I may buy more of this style.
I am usually a 30E. The band is true to size, but the cups seem about a size smaller than they should be. The gore doesn't quite tack for me. They are also a bit too wide and separated for me. As far as quality, this is a very nice smooth bra. The underwire is a bit uncomfortable/painful on my ribs, but maybe if the cups fit it wouldn't be so bad.
This is exactly the kind of bra I want to buy, simple, elegant, basic. Unfortunately it doesn't fit as well as it looks like it does. I get quading especially on my right side. And the cups are wide enough to chaff my arms a bit. If it had been especially inexpensive I probably would have kept it and tried to narrow the gore. It's a full cup size larger than I normally wear in letter but not in fit.
Can you measure this pretty please? Hows the immediate projection?
I'm so sorry I sent it back. I can't remember if I got it from Journelle or asos either with free shipping and returns. I remember it being shallowish and a cup smaller than I'd expect but I didn't keep it on very long. I can't believe I didn't put any measurements- how rude of me!
Ugh. Its ok tho dear. I'm just so desperately searching for an unlined nude without colored straps or ridiculous embellishments. It's supposed to be invisible!!
You sure you don't want to try my nude Lejaby I listed? Lol. But no really I do think it might work well for you. It was just a bit too big for me- just like the Claudette in 28G. I'm also finding surprising colors to work as almost nudes for me which helps a little. But it's still hard to find them where they don't add some bright detail somewhere which negates the whole thing.
Yes, the entire point of the nude bra concept is for it to be undetected! I'll look at the Lejaby you got listed.
Oh, I've looked at it. I think I passed because the embroidery/pattern looks like it would show through shirts. Plus, 5.5 wide x 10.5 deep would be enormous on me.
Surprisingly the decoration didn't show through my shirt at all but it was really big. With those measurements would you guess closer to a 32FF or 30G?
This bra is beautiful, but the straps are very separate and the gore is too wide for my close set breasts.
I find that this style run bigger that other Heidi Klum bras.
Edit: After overlapping the wires at the gore, making it much narrower, the bra is a decent fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
this is so beautiful on you!
