34D/DD, and after all these years, I finally found a bralette that fits. This is absolutely not a 34B, contrary to the Chinese size on the label seems to suggest. This bralette has a sizing system that is similar to clothing : EU 38, UK 10, US 6. The band, despite being 60 cm / 23.6" long, is very stretchy and feels firm enough for a bralette for a large 32 or small 34. The stretch level and soft materials reminds me of an underwired Victoria's Secret band. The cups look deceptively shallow and small, but have actually a lot of firm and surprisingly supportive stretch. On ...this size, they must fit a 32D/DD or a 34C/D best, but are stretchy enough to accommodate slightly larger cup sizes, although with a little bit of quad boob. This is a very low coverage plunge, with very separated cups. It certainly would never fit close set or center full breasts, but feels quite comfortable for my wide set, outer full shape. The cups allow for immediate projection and would probably wrinkle on shallow breasts. They give a rounded shape similar to an unlined Victoria's Secret demi bra, and look sexy with their dark red, almost burgundy lace. The stretch mesh lining is opaque and matches my pale skin tone perfectly. If you're looking for an elegant bralette with some projection and decent support, this one is worth a try. I've tried to hunt down this body for about 3 years now and... it is too small in the cups. God damn it. Fits like 32E. Apart from that this is a very nice, well-sewn and good quality body. It fits over my 103 cm hips (altough it is stretchy my bum really tests it's durability).
Comfy White Strapless bra/bra Well made strapless bra with gel material (as seen in the images) for extra grip and support. Tabs for straps which just hook in. đź”—
I feel this is one of my best fitting bras. It's a plunge bra with a continuous one piece band. The wires are more "J" shaped than "U" shaped and the little push-up pads are more on the sides than on the bottom, so it gives me a nice shape. The wings are also higher than most so no tissue escapes from the sides. The material isn't that great and the quality isn't too good either, I'm not expecting this bra to last too long.
I really like this longline bra! I'm not one who would prefer to wear longline bras every day, but I sure like to have the option! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
It closes with 5 hooks and there are three eyes. I bought this bra knowing that it fits me horribly in the band, but since I'm gonna alter it there won't be any fit issues later on, I guess https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> (not related to band length at least) As I'm petite, I also have very narrow shoulders. The straps are way too wide-set for me, they're interfering with my armpits, and ...really, they shouldn't have any business there https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> Actually, not only are too wide-set straps uncomfortable, they're actually distorting the whole fit of the cups. The straps are pulling the weight of the boobs (I know the band should provide the most support, but straps do support as well) from an odd angle, a diagonal angle instead of a fairly vertical one. The result is that it chafes the armpit and opens up space closest to the center gore (making it seem like the cup is too big since it gapes).
Since I bought this with the intention of altering the band I can't really comment on the band fit, and I intend to move the straps as well so I can't comment a lot about them either.
I can comment on the cups however, I would've never bought it if the cups didn't fit me. I wouldn't describe them as being half-cups, but they resemble them in the way that they're really straight cut horizontally on the top. I'd say this bra covers about the same amount as a balconette bra. When I wore the bra and had my mom tugging the back tight enough, while pressing the gore to my sternum and tugging the cup a little to simulate a closer-set strap, the shape was absolutely amazing! The support was top-notch and my boobs were basically rounder than a ball. Hah! Not that it's possible, but it almost seemed like it was in my case! I have chin rests in every bra since my boobs are so high up and perky, but this really pushed the limit even further xD It didn't look bad though, just really impressive! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I guess it'd look kinda over the top on someone who's a lot taller than me (I'm only 5 feet/152 cm tall), having their boobs that high up, but on me it doesn't because I have a really, really short upper body and so the ultra-chin-rest-y shape doesn't look weird on me, just boobtastic without the wtf-factor.
Oh, just a quick side-note, the straps are semi-wide and you can take the straps off and make it into a racerback or just wear one strap (only your imagination can stop you really). They're not very slippery, once you adjust it to a certain length it stays put https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> They don't stand out to me in any kinda way, kinda regular I guess. Not ultra-comfy to make me praise them, and not less comfortable than most straps.
(Btw, there are optional pads in this one. The bra has pockets inside the cups, I tried putting both pads in in the same cup and it worked beautifully, I could've fit a third one in there as well if I had one (I just thought I'd mention it since pads are great too oomph things up if you'd like, and they're also great for correcting asymmetry, which I don't have though) Read more 502 more words
Denocte discovered the push-up version of this gem for all wide root shallow boobs girls about a year ago (http://kurvendiskussionen.blogspot.de/2012/04/h-strapless.html, scroll down for post in English), and I found a non-push-up version a couple of months ago. The band is so tight that it fits me as long as I don't close it in the widest eyelets, but I bought this bra willing to shorten its band as soon as it stretches out (which I've read it is bound to do with a bit of wear). The bra fits amazingly well for an H&M product. There was also a black version in the shop when I bought mine, but the band was unbearably stretchy and long on that bra. I am only ever going to wear this bra strapless, however, because the silicone bits on the band make it uncomfortable for every day wear IMO.
I will probably muast to bought L, becuse M do not fit on side and on top. Othervise it have very good suport, so it is ideal for some light sport activity.
Really bulky rigid padding, so not forgiving to any increase in bust size.
Has a jersey fabric overlay to give a kind of faux-longline appearance - measurements of gore etc are of the actual bra underneath, including the fabric "gore" is about 8cm laid flat and can stretch down several centimetres.
Band is very snug and secure with 3 hooks quite widely set. Has held up to pretty careless machine washing with no curling of cup edges etc.
Actually really comfy but cups now too small. Wore 32s when I bought it and it worked fine then too. Fabric feels sturdy and multiple hooks keep in place securely. Size range is limited but going a SS up would probably work.
I`m FOC, wide-set, have a sternum that pokes up a bit and this bra meets all my features. My breast tissue starts a couple inches from my collarbone and I don't have an 'orange in a glass' situation, upper cup edge smoothly fades into my skin. Fabric is quite tight, on my other non-bikini bras, I would like to wear a 28-inch band, but this one feels snug in 30-inch band (my actual ribcage is 28 inches). This bra has extreme push-up, that can hurt after a long day of wearing. Maybe because of that padding, my breasts push away wires in the center a bit (gore sits flat) and gore feels comfortable. Or just the gore shape feels ok, I don't have enough bras to compare. Generally, I like this bra a lot!
Although this is a nursing bra, I bought it as a sleep bra. Solidly built, this bralette doesn't feel like the typical cotton nursing bra. It's made of two layers of thick synthetic fabric that make it fit somewhat like a low impact sports bralette. The band is quite comfortable, soft and stretchy but supportive. Size M is equivalent to a 36 band. The fabric in the cups is quite firm, which helps lifting boobs a bit with compression. But for this reason, it doesn't have any room for projection, and from the moment I put the bra on, I can tell compression would hurt my boobs when they're sensitive. ...For this reason, I definitely don't recommend this bra for nursing. Also it doesn't have any pads, although it's still possible with basic sewing skills to cut holes in the lining to insert a pair of pads. Unfortunately, it doesn't work much better as a sleep bra. If the bra feels okay and firm while standing up, my boobs still jiggle and they spill out while laying down on one side. It's definitely too small for 34DD cups. This bralette should be okay as a lounge bra but will fit only very shallow boobs comfortably. Read more 93 more words
The bra is really pretty and sexy, however it wasn’t the size for me. I bought it but later it didnt fit me right. So i never got to wear it. Its good cup coverage. Comfortable and attractive at the same time.
That is very cute!
