This is the second Honeydew bra I have tried, and unfortunately this style didn't work for me either. I liked the idea of this being a seamless bra with a wide elastic gated back like the Freya Fancies I love so much, but the fit of this wasn't quite right.
Overall the band is snug and runs TTS. Because of the strong elastic used in the gate back, it feels almost too snug. I have very little body fat, but I could see this causing very unflattering back fat if you have more squish. However, it would function almost as a low-back bra and would allow you to wear ...slightly more low-cut styles in the back, which is nice. The main issue for me in terms of fit is that the cups are just too small. The cup shape is rather closed and as a result cuts into my roots on both sides. Although the measurements indicate this is pretty TTS for a 30DD, in practice I end up spilling out of the top. I'm not sure why this is happening--could be a combination of the cut and the flimsiness of the cup foam, but I would definitely need to size up in cup size for this style, and I don't think that Honeydew makes a DDD cup size.
As I mentioned in my previous review for the Honeydew Camellia bra, the interior of the cups is lined with a peached microfiber that gives me the creeps to touch, and there is very limited space available to adjust the straps. Ultimately, this style isn't for me, but it might work for someone who needs a wider wire but has shorter roots or is very shallow on top. Read more 177 more words
