OK; this is one of the prettiest bras I own!! I LOVE the embroidery and cross-stitching on the cups.
The exterior fabric covering the cups that contains the embroidery is a tight polyester and rayon mesh that is very non-elastic. This material is formed into a cup shape with pleats at the bottoms of the cups. The inner two-piece cup itself is 100% cotton, making it very comfortable and absorbent.
The bra fits me well! The wires are wide enough for my wide roots, and is fairly comfortable, although, with the mesh material at the front of the bra, all the stretch comes in the band.
I love the appearance of this bra. This was the first unlined bra I successfully wore and pulled off in the wrong sizes (34 and 36B). As in, most unlined bras gave me snoopy boobs- long, unsupported, swoopy, thin- basically, it just looked like I had no bra on. This bra gave me a rounded shape and there was no squishing even in the wrong size. Kind of makes me wish I'd never sold the 34B (kept the 36B as I figured it was closer depth wise- and it is- the cups seem to run big).
So this bra in 32DD gives me a lot of extra bra on ...top. My boobs are about even, I'm very tall and shallow on top, even though my breast shape should make me FoT on my left side. I'm pretty much throwing that out the window because my boobs are semi tuberous, so I don't think normal ways of discovering if you're FoT or FoB apply to me. Nipple placement and weird shape aside, I'm totally FoB to even. I am able to wear full cup bras and I sometimes have issues with closed cups, mainly right side, but I'm still too shallow on top to be totally FoT and overall, there's probably equal amounts of tissue on top and on bottom after being lifted. It's confusing, but I think I do best in bras meant for even fullness or semi FoB.
So- this bra. Either not good for FoB people or you need to go down a cup. If you're much more FoT this may work in your usual/sister size. If you're even, I don't know, you may do ok with this. It's hard for me to judge based off of my own boobs. I can say for sure, if you're mildly tuberous, go down a cup.
I'm planning on trying this in a 32D, because the cup depth of my 36B is perfect. I still LOVE the look of this bra. Even my boyfriend who hates lace, said this was his favorite back when I got my 36B. It's just very delicate and stereotypically feminine looking, which I love. I love the pink and white lace and all of the silk bows and detailing. Unfortunately, I couldn't really justify wearing the 32DD because of the empty space up top. I can try scooping into it, and it's hardly noticeable, but just knowing makes me uncomfortable and it doesn't give me a nice shape like my others did.
The band on this is also decent. It's too big, but not so big that I'm not at all supported. Overall though, I didn't want these bras for practicality, I wanted them more to feel pretty. If they were supportive and gave me a semi different shape, they'd have been worn more often.

Edit: I've only been back on Spironolactone for a short time and already my boobs are filling out and getting rounder. With that said, I can now fit into this bra, and yay! I only wish the band was smaller. It's very stretchy and already a 32, so it doesn't feel secure like my more snug bands. I think I would still prefer the look of the D, but keeping this for now as it's my boyfriend's favorite- and he's SUPER hard to impress in the bra/lingerie department Dx
I really like Jezebel. I so wish they'd carry smaller bands!
Edit2: Measured. Cups measure 8" on bottom and 8.7-9 on top. That explains why the cups were too roomy on top. I need 8.7- 9" in the very center. This is definitely a FoT bra. Luckily the band isn't so slack that the cups don't stick to my chest, otherwise this wouldn't work at all. If you have firm tissue and are even or FoB, this is definitely a no go. If you have soft tissue and are FoB/even, and the 32+ bands fit enough to get the gore to tack, you may be able to manipulate your tissue to fit as I have.
A very pretty and comfortable bra. This bra comes in Black with white detail, white, and light blue with white detail. I got the black/white. The Straps have a garter belt clip detail (though not functional). The straps tend to fall off my shoulder even at the shortest setting. The band has three hooks. I prefer 2 hooks, but the band is still comfortable and supportive.
When I first bought this bra I found that the top of the cups is much too full and wrinkles a lot, though the bottom of the cups fits me perfectly. However I recently tried it on and it's no longer an issue with a bit of "scoop & swoop."
There is zero space in the cups. It's all padding except for the top 2 inches. Does as it advertises and shoves my boobs up towards my neck. Not really supportive, the wires manage to dig into my ribs on my side, and never will this gore tack.
Completely sheer, with its lilac colour and its coral red bows, this bra is so pretty. But not fitting my shape at all. First, the band is too large. True, I chose this bra before I knew my real size. But the band is so stretchy. It could hardly fit snugly enough. Then, the cups are too narrow. They cut into my breasts on the sides, the central gore doesn't touch my sternum at all, and the underwires are so fragile I fear they could break. And the worst problem of all, the cups are gaping a lot on top. This bra definitely doesn't fit FoB breasts at all. One must be very FoT to fill cups that are so open on top. As I wanted to keep this bra, I altered the cups on top. Now it fits better, although the cups are still slightly gaping as they aren't stretchy at all. I'd have returned this bra if it didn't look so pretty.
I tried this on again, and had to laugh. The back rides up SO BAD. I can't believe I never noticed. I decided to sell my 32DD (or at least it's up for sale and may be being bought), because the cups aren't snug enough for my liking.
In this, the cups are good. My concern is that 32D will be too small, if the band is snug. Though these bands seem loose (regardless of being 32&36 - they're not really tight at all), so that should make it just about right. I really only keep this for my bf because I know he loves it, and I love it too ...and am worried I'll never snag the 32D. And honestly, I'm not ever going to wear this a full day anyway unless it's under a sweater or something (and 32D because 32DD makes my boobs sag somewhat).
Appearance wise. Obviously a very nice bra. Practicality, support wise, no way. This is totally a bedroom bra unless you've got really firm, perky boobs and/or don't care about support or have at least a 33 inch ribcage and up(32 will work for 33-34).
Anyway, hopefully I can get the 32D soon so I don't have to laugh at this every time I see the band almost at my neck. Read more 106 more words
This bra's band feels more like a 34 to me. It stretches, but people who usually wear a 36 might want to also try a 38 just in case. The wires do not lay completely flat on my sternum. I'm not sure if it's because of all the padding or if I need a slightly bigger cup size. It seems to fit pretty well otherwise though.
Lots of padding in the bottom and center of the cup to get "extreme push-up."
This bra (while I outgrew) was awesome under plunging strapless tops/dresses. I love the pushup and shape on my chest -- I want this in my size now! Doesn't ride down but also comfortable.
I'm amazed that the band isn't too loose on this bra- even for a strapless - but I was fitted in this at a local boutique and the size/style was the best strapless bra they had in stock and is a sister size to what I would normally take.
The bra is plain enough to wear as an everyday bra. If you're planning to wear it for a special occasion note there is no cleavage to speak of; just very lifted and separated breasts.
I ordered this before I realized that I was wearing bras with bands that were too big. The cups fit "okay," though I usually end up gapping after a while due to slippage and the fact that the band doesn't fit. I think it's also just a very stretchy band in general, which doesn't help. The designs on the cups don't show up under shirts, which is great, and the straps are comfortable.
I absolutely love this bra. For those of you who are sized within the range that Jezebel makes, I would totally recommend it. It's a gorgeous soft turquoise/aqua color, the fabric is an amazingly soft microfiber type thing, the memory foam is fun, and it gives fantastic cleavage. Convertible straps are also a plus. It does seem to run a bit small for a 34. I was surprised when I looked at the size because it feels like a 32. It's very stretchy, but it's strong elastic so it doesn't stretch much more than you want it to on.
It is a pretty bra. I bought it for bedroom purposes when I thought I was a 36C. Now that I know about proper fit, I don't care for it as much. This bra appears to fit in the cups if I don't adjust myself into it, but when I do, it is painfully obvious the cups are too small.
