This bra is the same cut as the Just Peachy Lace Padded Balconette Bra (good for shallow and wide). It should be noted that the Ivory/Spearmint colourway is much looser in the band than the Charcoal/Fuchsia colourway I have.
I am fairly happy with this bra. It is a pretty, comfortable everyday bra and it fits fairly well, although the shape/style is not perfect for me it is pretty close. The back is really really tight! I usually wear 28 but this is good for me on the loosest hook,
Edit: I stopped wearing this bra. I think the size was right, but the shape not quite. Not sure exactly what was wrong, think maybe the wires were the wrong shape (not wide or open enough???) for me. Also I didn't really like the shape (or more lack of shape) that I got with this bra. But it is still a pretty, everyday bra. Just not quite right for me.
It's a well-constructed bra that's great for narrow, projected and even/FOB shapes. The lace on top is stretch lace so it can accommodate a certain amount of top fullness but there's an elastic band running from gore to wing that closes off the cup pretty quickly. If you're significantly FOT it might not work so well.
The cup was great for my shape. The wires are narrow but softer; they start to distort quite a bit before the 28.5" stretched length so I doubt the cup diameter when I'm wearing it is anywhere near as small as what I measured. But ...it definitely is narrow. The band is very tight for a 30 and it's firm. I've had to wear it with an extender (and I prefer my Cleos with a 28 band!) The straps are super short - fully adjustable, but I'd like probably another 3/4 inch in length to get it as long as I'd prefer.
The material is of a lower quality than my other bras, but honestly that doesn't surprise me for the price point. It's still decent. It's not the smoothest - the lace and mesh can get a bit scratchy, but it's nothing too irritating. Except the straps, but the length is a huge contributor to that problem. If they weren't digging in, I don't think they'd bother me.
In my opinion, it's a very good bra for my shape/size. I'd say to sister-size up or plan on using an extender to avoid band issues. It would do better with someone whose boobs were a bit higher set or who never has problems with too-short strap length (this isn't the first bra I've had a problem with and it won't be the last). It's especially good for anyone looking for a well-made bra at a lower price point. It retails for $33 USD, but I got mine on sale for just over $13. Read more 233 more words
i need this beauty in a 30DD or 32D. i had hoped (not sure why...) that even tho it would likely be a cup or two too big, that it would still work for me, since i have super tall roots and since it's stretchy fabric (not molded) that i could pull it off. i was SADLY mistaken https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> i have a 32E that is similar and fits, so i thought i might be able to do the same here... and the colors are SO vibrant, and the fabric so soft.... i really wanted this to work & will be looking for my size for sure!
About to give up on t-shirt bras. None have enough immediate projection or depth. This one has more depth than most in my size. Perhaps if the immediate projection was better , this depth would work. I've come to the conclusion that I have short roots , so therefore the cups are just too tall for me and I don't fill the top very well, especially on my smaller breast. The front center gore has elastic criss crossing in the gore and so the fit is snug. I normally wear a 28GG. This band fits like a 28 , so I'd definitely size up in band size
The band is compared to other english bras about one size small, the cups are about one size big, at least for my FOB breasts. The lace is scratchy but the color blends well with my skin tone, its seamless, the bra can be washed in the machine and it is okay for the occasions when I need an invisible bra.
This is the first bra that has ever fit me well. It was a crapshoot, as I ordered several JP bras in a range of sizes, this was the winner. The wing height and boning keep my scoop/swoop in place all day, the large round wires for my wide/tall roots perfectly. It is lightly padded and offers great support. Not crazy about the fabric and colors (grey and pink), but a good fit on clearance is nothing to scoff at. I will be on the hunt for bras with similar gore height and wires, perhaps with a tad more projection.
When I took this bra out of it's packaging, I thought "those cups looks far too small". Once I started to put it on, it seemed that it was going to be perfect, a tacking gore, right band size, cups that didn't wrap around my sides ... then I did the swoop and scoop, no good.
This bra cuts in across the top of my breasts and I wouldn't say that I am full on top by any means - a common problem I have with full cup bras is a gap at the top. The bottom of my breasts also takes on a strange shape.
After I took ...the pics I tightened the straps which did improve things but the problems remained, not to mention, the straps were then cutting into my shoulders.
It's a shame because it's a lovely looking bra when it's off me and I also bought the matching brief - no point in unpacking them.
My mind is working on what I can do to minimise the top cut in (eg. remove the stabiliser) and whether some judicial seaming would fix that strange shape.
Update: It seems gravity may have solved the cutting in at the top without my intervention. Unfortunately exercise aversion has resulted in some weight gain and although my other bras with a 30 band still fit me, I have to use an extender with this one for it to be comfortable. Win some, lose some I guess. Read more 134 more words
I have this in 32B Nude, I sized up in the band as I know this brand is tight, which holds true for this model. It's a good, firm band, and doesn't feel too stretchy for having sized up. The cups work well for tall roots, wires are slightly narrow. The straps are fully adjustable, and are long enough for my broad shoulders! It's quite a pretty basic bra, with lace band and subtle spots on the cups. Practically invisible under a pale top.
The Bellini Tankini is a swim top with an inner wired bra support section. The cups are made of two parts with a diagonal seam and the top ties with halterneck straps. The interior fastens with a hook and eye clasp with 2 rows of 3 columns of eyes. The inner bra cup section seems to be made of some kind of stabilising mesh, and the inner wings are made of powernet. The exterior of this tankini is made of lycra with a brightly coloured pattern. I find that the yellow and the purple/navy colours are a lot more prominent in person than the stock image (which seems ...to show the aqua and pink as standing out the most). It measures 37.5cm from the top of the gore down to the bottom of the tankini.
I really like the print on this, I think that the colourful stripes are very fun!
I can't really comment on the fit as the swim top was not intended for me. The bust perimeter was also measured on me so I'm not sure how indicative this is of actual measurements as I'd wear a far larger cup size. It's always a challenge to accurately measure the stretched length of swim tops with interior bras, and while I think that the bra band section may stretch a little more on the body, I do think that it's on the firm side for a 32 band. This bra is almost amazing. It comes in many lovely (lacy) colors - mine is grayish-lavender - and the shape is round and high (but not cakes on a plate high!). The cups are very comfortable - unpadded but fairly firm. The band is pretty firm. It's most noticeable after many hours and when laying down, and it could be uncomfortable in/on the ribs.
Very comfortable bra with narrow gores that tack perfectly on me. A bit too much room on top, it's best suited for a full on top bust. Unfortunately that's not me. Straps are wide enough not to dig in but narrow enough that it shouldn't show under most shirts. 2 hooks fastening at the back
I bought this on a whim, because I like my other Just Peachy padded balconette in 30C, but sometimes feel it's a bit small (on my larger swing of the month). This is fast becoming my favorite bra! Either a combination of the wing height (which overall I do like) or the cup width makes me wonder if it's too wide for me, but it's comfortable so I don't worry about it. About the only complaint I have is that the straps are *just* at the max width for me; they're not quite in my armpits, but they'd sure like to be. As with all bras on me, they're also a titch too short.
It fit when I had bigger ribs and a smaller bust. In my current dimensions, the band fits for a while on the tightest hook, but the whole bra slides down my ribs because the cups are so small. When I hoik it up and swoop my breasts out of my armpits, there's quadboob and massive cleavage and the gore doesn't rest against my sternum. Doh.
FTR I dug this out of the drawer because I don't have a white bra that fits and was hoping it would be semi-wearable. It's not.
Band is a snug 30, but I would rather a secure fit for swimwear anyway - less risk of accidents! Absolutely stunning bikini, and the bra style means it can be worn under clothes for a beach day.
Well, this is an adorable little offering from Figleaves without a lot of information on here so I'll do my best.
I got this off r/braswap. Visually it's very cute, in an understated way. It's a soft gray-with-a-hint-of-purple color, with a zebra pattern on the outside of the cups, bright pink lining on the inside, and a pink bow at the gore. It also has a soft lace trim at the top of the cups. The zebra stripes are metallic and the pink lining shows through just a little bit to give a sweet dual-color appearance without screaming "I'm lined in PINK!!" The entire ...bra is very soft to the touch, even the straps.
On to the fit part:
UPDATE: So by the end of day 1, I've decided this thing is just too big. Maybe there's a way to pinch in & stitch some of the fabric and make it a bit more supportive. With 4.9" wires, I probably don't need 10.1" of depth. It's sorely lacking in lift and support, it's basically a bralette with underwires. Comfortable, but not exactly functional or flattering. The tall wires do not, however, poke me anywhere.
The band: This is a 30 band that stretches to 28.75" - I have it hooked on the middle hooks. I'm a true 28-band at 27.75" UB. True 30's should be okay, small 28's will find it too loose. If you're between 30-32 bands, get a 32.
The cups: This is the narrowest, most projected unlined cup I've found yet - so all you narrow/projected ladies better listen up! My wires measured 4.9" - this is the first sub-5.0 bra I've ever tried and answers my "how narrow can I really go" question. The wires perfectly follow my root, however they are longer and the wings are taller than Comexim or Cleo Lily, so it remains to be seen whether they poke the tiny extension of tissue I have towards my armpit. Right now, they are super comfortable. They are very U shaped and aren't overly flexible. The bottom of the U may be a tad too deep for the bottom of my root, and as a result I think I loose a little bit of potential lift and support. The apex of the bra seems quite high, and the deepest depth I got was 10.1". The cups give a very natural, almost pointy look that I'm undecided on. I think this is a bra (at least for me) for lounging around the house or throwing a big tee shirt over on lazy days when I need to wash my Cleo Lily lol. This isn't the bra to go for if you're wanting to wow everyone with your perfectly rounded apple-boobs. The cups are closed off on top but they're also stretchy. They work well with my even-to-FOB boobs, but more FOT shapes will likely have trouble.
It fits my bigger breast perfectly, and wrinkles somewhat on my smaller one. I guess I'll know by the end of the day if it stays comfortable, and it remains to be seen whether it's the kind of bra I'll repeatedly find myself picking out of my closet.
Will get pics up in a bit. Read more 447 more words
First up, appearances. Well, I bought this bra online essentially because I thought it looked nice (it helped that the price was right, too). It is made up of blue lace over a cream lightly padded cup with cute cream bows. Super adorable!
This bra has a fairly firm band which fits me pretty darn well. The wires are firm and I find them to be a bit uncomfortable after several hours of wear, especially if I am lounging around. I'd prefer a slightly lower gore for comfort reasons. That said, overall I find the bra to be quite wearable. I've noticed that sometimes I need to reposition ...the bra up into my IMF and I am not sure why. The slippage is minor and the bottoms of the cups are not obviously going unfilled like they do with some bras that are much too shallow. Under a tight t-shirt, the bra's seam and outer texture are less noticeable than I expected, making this a semi-viable candidate for an everyday or type of bra. I wore it pretty happily with a tight tank top over a recent weekend.
It feels like "more bra" than I am used to, yet overall I am happy with my purchase. Read more 98 more words
