I have shallow, moderately wide breasts that are conical in shape.
Having tried on several padded bras across some of the various Figleaves brands, I can definitely say that they are all the same basic shape. Shallow, wide, moderately padded, the cups are just a tad small, the band runs small/tight, and the straps are a bit too far apart for me.
Even though this one was cheaper than many other Figleaves bras I've tried, this one seems to be of superior quality. No puckering, the strap length stays put, etc. The only quality quibble I have is that there's already a few stray threads on this bra, straight out of the box.
I got the pink with black lace, and it's a very pretty bra. And the lace isn't obnoxious, either. I'd definitely recommend this bra for anyone else with shallow breasts, especially if they have wider shoulders. And even at full price ($30), I'd say it's a great deal.
Typical for a Just Peachy Bra is the really short band. It's nearly to tight for me but 32D is to long. So I wear an extender for 1-2 hooks more. Other than expected the bra don't need a lot of volume at the top so it is good if you need wide wires, shallow cups and few volume on top.
I bought this on a whim, because I like my other Just Peachy padded balconette in 30C, but sometimes feel it's a bit small (on my larger swing of the month). This is fast becoming my favorite bra! Either a combination of the wing height (which overall I do like) or the cup width makes me wonder if it's too wide for me, but it's comfortable so I don't worry about it. About the only complaint I have is that the straps are *just* at the max width for me; they're not quite in my armpits, but they'd sure like to be. As with all bras on me, they're also a titch too short.
It fit when I had bigger ribs and a smaller bust. In my current dimensions, the band fits for a while on the tightest hook, but the whole bra slides down my ribs because the cups are so small. When I hoik it up and swoop my breasts out of my armpits, there's quadboob and massive cleavage and the gore doesn't rest against my sternum. Doh.
FTR I dug this out of the drawer because I don't have a white bra that fits and was hoping it would be semi-wearable. It's not.
This one didn't fit my shallow breasts. The tops gapped unless I sat up straight with excellent posture which realistically I wouldn't be in the majority of the time. The bra itself is very comfy and pretty though. I got this as a lingerie set with panties. The lace is very soft and of great quality. The lace is not glued to the cups so things could fall in between the cups and the lace. The lace is fully shown onto the underwire but only attached at 4 points on the top of the cup. The padding is thin (about 1/32"). It's a very pretty bra though if you are a full D cup.
I again think the fit problem here with the gaping is because the band is clearly too big for you. I think the 30 band bras you own fit you very well, IF you put in the time to shorten the band to your needed length of 28.
I have a wide root and shallow boobs. I do need flat cups but not extraordinary wide wires. I almost don't have any volume on top.
The band is really tight and can be compared with a 28 in other styles. That might be why the gore hurt me everytime I wore this bra. The cups are very shallow and were too shallow for me which caused a quadboob effect. The wires are extraordinary wide and were about 2cm too wide for me.
This bra fits me really weirdly. The cup is too closed at the top edge, and cuts into my breast tissue at the top. The gore also doesn't sit flat on me and the outer edges of the wires seem too wide and too tall, but it may be a result of the cups not fitting properly. I'd recommend it for non-shallow breasts that are fairly far apart/wide set. The band and straps are delicate and thin. There is foam padding in the cup - not like a push up, but like a thick lining.
This bra is nice, I don't have strong feelings one way or another. The embroidery on the cups stops it from being a t-shirt bra, though I figured that would be the case when ordering. The straps are nice and thin, and the band is similarly delicate, which I appreciate. The color is more periwinkle than cobalt blue, but that's okay, too. There's thin boning in the wings. The band doesn't have lace at the bottom, which is great for those of us who slouch a lot (me) and have under-band decoration fold up every time. The straps are a little widely set, and I think they'll be sliding off my shoulders more than usual. This bra is nice, but nothing to write home about. Better quality than Target or other discount stores, but I wouldn't expect it to hold up to heavy wear.
This bra is a beautiful shade of purple and works very well on shallow breasts. I'm still in some fantasy world where I think 30 bands fit me, but I couldn't resist getting this.
The thing that I was most impressed with about this bra was how well it adapted to my asymmetry. I have pretty minor asymmetry with my right breast being a little bit smaller, but there was still no gaping or wrinkling on the smaller side, which I'm pleased with.
The bra is very lightly padded/lined, which I am quite pleased with, and probably contributes to the lack of gaping on my smaller side. As a bonus, the undersides of the straps are incredibly soft and comfy.
My breasts have a very wide root and are very shallow. They are a bit conical/tubular in shape.
I'm having a hard time coming up with something to say about this bra. It's very average/meh. The quality seems to be okay. The comfort is okay - not great, but not terrible. The bra isn't incredibly pretty (to me). It's just an uninspiring bra in general. On the bright side, it is a very inexpensive bra, even when it's not on sale.
The cups are lightly lined. It's nice if you don't wan't too add much to your size, but it doesn't work ...so well for me. The cups being on the flimsier side means that the natural shape of my breasts shows through. While I don't look nearly as conical with the bra on as I do without, the bra certainly gives me a pointer and more separated look than any other bra I own. It's not particularly a shape I like for myself.
Every single edge of this bra--the top, the bottom, the cups, the straps--has this goofy little lacing on it. That, combined with a slightly higher wing size than I'm used to, means that it's slightly uncomfortable, slightly itchy.
The band is stiff. At 29" ribcage, the bra is very snug on the loosest hook. The straps are fully adjustable, and the goofy lacing on the straps means that the strap won't work its way loose.
All said, even though this bra fits, I can't decide whether or not I'm going to keep it. It's just all very mediocre. Read more 164 more words
Lovely and inexpensive bra! I own it in red and white. The balconette shape is nice and low enough for most of my tops. The padding is thin, enough for modesty. The band is nice, but I do wish this came in a 28 band. I find that the lace that covers the cups and the lower part of the band soft enough to not be irritating.
Overall, this is my comfortable everyday bra! My main issue with the white one is that the lace makes it difficult to clean, and now there's some discoloration. The label says that it is machine washable, but I can't bring myself to throw bras in the washer so I haven't tried to see how it holds up.
This is a very pretty black bra by Figleaves which also didn't fit my fitting victim. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> It's padded and the band is mesh which is partially see-through. There's some floral mesh over the cups. The straps are rather narrow (only 1 cm) and they have some lining from the outside which feels smooth, like satin.
As with seemingly every bra ever made, the cups were set too far apart for me. This particular bra was also too small in the cups and loose in the band, but doesn't seem to come in a larger cup size or smaller band size. Judging by the fit, I probably could have gone down to a 28E or F if it came in those sizes. Might work OK for someone with a larger ribcage and smaller breasts.
Is this smooth under t shirts?
