    Hasn't set fit

I loved the non-busty version of this and found it so soft and comfortable, but I wear 28GG so the non-busty XS wasn't enough. I was so excited to find "Busty" sizes .... and then crushingly disappointed.

The "Busty" variant has THE CHEAPEST HARDEST ELASTIC OF ALL TIME added to the band. This elastic is:

    1) blatantly not even close to the right width
    2) super-stiff
    3) sewn vertically in FOUR places (including front & center) to make it stay....
    4) ... and still folds/rolls constantly & never lies flat

Did they just tell the factory to throw whatever max-cheap elastic on the shelf in there and make it ... work? I guess for a $35 bra, actual soft-touch clothing elastic was not in the budget.

    --- Summary: tried 4 sizes ---

    Current size: 28GG / 30G, prefer 28.

XS (non-busty) -- Wish the cups were larger.

S (non-busty) -- predictably pretty loose at torso, might work for sleeping.

XS-BUSTY -- The elastic is sewn way tight and XS-Busty feels about 2 sizes smaller than XS (nonbusty). The fit is roughly on par with my 28's. But I don't find a hard 28 band comfortable for sleeping.

S-BUSTY -- Probably fit better than XS-Busty, but maybe that's just because I couldn't feel that hard elastic as much.

This bra has great support! The band-to-cup ratio is pretty perfect for me (30G in @Cleo balconette bras). It is really important to make sure the side seams are lines up properly, or the material for the left cup will dig into your right breast. When put on properly, it's comfortable and well-fitting.

    Didn't fit

Immediately projected, center full, close set, short waisted, omega-shaped breasts....

    1. SO soft; softer than Bravado Original Nursing Bra (http://www.bratabase.com/browse/bravado-designs/the-original-nursing-bra-plus-style/S/)
    2. Accommodates a wide variety of breast shapes including center-full, close-set breasts
    3. Wide, supportive band provides excellent support
    4. Somewhat minimizing
    5. Effortless nursing access
    6. Band does not ride up on my 28" underbust: the band stretches to 28". Wonderful https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> This is a marked improvement over Bravado's Original Nursing Bra S+ whose band stretches to 34".
    7. Only the 'busty' sizes have elastic in the band. 1/8" of the band flipped up on one side. I did not find the flip irritating or bothersome.

    Disadvantages:
    1. ... I don't want to take it off.....which is why it does not yet have measurements https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> Soon.
    2. This left some red welts on my neck and grooves from each wrinkle (gathering under each cup) along each breast. I may need an Extra-Small Extra Busty....when such a model is available.
    3. Lengthening the straps a bit may remedy the red welts. Because the straps are non-adjustable, I'll add fabric.

Forgot to add: only the 'busty' sizes have elastic in the band. I hope you enjoy yours, yogurt :-)

My shape: Projected, narrow, shorter roots, even/functionally full on bottom, soft tissue. Cleo Lily fits me best.

I'm currently a 30G, and WOW this bra is really hard to put on and take off. I could barely stretch it enough to get it on. Once I was able to get it on, the band was a little looser than I'd like. The cups were definitely compressing my chest, but not uncomfortably so.

The dealbreaker for me is the straps. I should have known better than to buy a bra without adjustable straps. I'm pretty low-set (straps usually have to be adjusted as long as they will go). The straps on this bra are just too short for me, and the pressure from them is pretty painful.
Pity, since this bra is wonderfully soft. If only it had adjustable straps...

    • It IS difficult to get on and off. Try removing it after perspiring: frustrating.

Disappointing the straps were too short! It is possible the compression you are feeling is related to how short the straps feel. Because of the design, if the cup is too small, the straps will absolutely feel too short. I hope adjustable straps are added soon. From what I comprehend, this bra as first available March 2017. So, it is new to market.

If you have time and motivation, would you send Kindred Bravely an email requesting an xs-extra-busty and adjustable straps? Thanks :-) The owner keeps a rally of requests....

    • Autocorrect. "Tally" rather than "rally" and "as" in the 2nd paragraph, 5th sentence should be "was".

    • Love4Pollinators Emailing them is a great idea, thank you!

    Fits

I like the band being tight enough but it is SUPER difficult to put it on or take it off, even if I am only around 28DD/E. It is great that there's finally something available for those who need small bands and medium/large cups, but why do they expect busty people to pull over a bralette over head?

I also found that such seamless bralettes makes my breasts a little too rounded, which is not the greatest thing because I have very firm and naturally pointy breasts. The busty size definitely feels much better than most bralettes (which often end up to be either too loose or like a compression sports bra), but still I can feel its existence more than a normal wired bra.

I had hoped for using it as a lounge bra or for running errands during the weekend, but it seems a regular bra is more comfortable and easier to put on. In the future I will look for more structured bralettes with hook-and-eye closure.

Runs smaller than pink and nude colorways, but is most similar to nude in fit. Neither nude nor pink cut into my upper roots, but gray does. It is not visible under thin knits and causes me no discomfort.

Still, the most comfortable, supportive bra I've found. Tied with the Kindred Bravely Organic Cotton Nursing Bra.
