My shape: FOB, soft tissue, narrow shoulders and roots, projected Appearance: I LOVE the bright orange colors on this bra. It's mostly white mesh (no stretch) with orange embroidery on the cups, an orange bow at the gore, and orange satiny fabric on the band and elastic straps. The cup is constructed of 3 parts, and there is a thin, clear piece of plastic-feeling elastic at the top edge of the cups. The bottom 2 parts of the cup have two layers of see-through white mesh, and the top part, where the embroidery is, is only one layer. Fit: This style of bra fits me so much better than the ...Kostar balconette style that I got recently, but the cups are still too shallow. The measurements don't show that, which is odd. I think it's because the fabric has no stretch to it, so it smushes my soft tissue, giving me quad boob and the upside down 7, weird shape effect. The band feels pretty spot on, the straps aren't too wide, and the gore tacks. The bottom of the cup doesn't quite get filled, however. I like the quality and the BRIGHT colors of the Kostar bras I have tried, but I'm afraid the non-stretch fabric doesn't work for me. If they made these bras with stretch mesh, they would be perfect! Such a bummer! I think the measurements don't reflect the shallowness due to it being "correct" at the apex but not deep enough at the wire (not enough immediate projection) which seems common aside from Ewa really for the larger cup sizes. Sorry this one didn't workout for you as well. Kostar does quality craftsmanship, but I think work better for smaller or shallow projections instead. Plus you gotta love the neon colors!
Special thanks to mandapandarawks, @DerangedDragons19 and veggiechic whose generosity brought this bra into my life.
Hoo boy, where to start. First, the bra is a lovely bra and the construction is quite nice. The color is vibrant and bra itself is light and airy. Other reviews cover the features of the bra nicely, so I won't repeat much here.
Pretty lace embellishment, firm white mesh. The band and cups are snug and supportive without being restrictive. Gore tacks, and has slightly overlapping wire. The straps are fully adjustable, wide and soft.
This bra kind of fits, but doesn't really. I've been trying ...to imagine exactly what shape this is made for and I can only think someone who is quite conical & FOT looking for a slight pushup effect.
My breasts technically go into the cups, but I'm getting the upside down 7 look in the top of the cup and a weird concave/inverted curve shape on the bottom of the cup. Is there such a thing as reverse projection at the wire?
Anyway, this is an epic fail on me. Maybe the bra has some sort of error in the cutting since it just doesn't seem to fit anyone quite right.
Me: short & narrow roots, center full, close set, pendulous, petite, short waisted, low set, fairly even fullness, narrow shoulders, soft. Read more 122 more words
😂 the bra strikes again! That was my thought as well, which breasts is this made to fit! Honestly at this point we may be able to say this particular bra is a dud, surely Kostar makes other nice bras...
It seems so promising! Width and depth look perfect! Something about the geometry of this just doesn't work. Sad really. The bottom of the cup is especially badly fitting. Did you see the profile shot? Oof!
Yep stacybug , it is really a bizarre bra. That’s not a look anyone wants, haha!
This is so finny... both the Kostar bras I tried are a part of the "Sisterhood of the Bra That Doesn't Fit Anyone," lol! I honestly want to make an award for whoever these bras end up fitting. The Golden Cup Award or something.
Huge shout-out to Mandapandarawks for sending some bras for me to try.
This was one of three I received, and unfortunately, it was an epic fit-fail haha. It was a comical shape mismatch. The top of my tissue was falling out of the tops and sides of the cups, while the bottom of the cups weren't even filled with my tissue. It was bad haha.
The wire length was about 2-3" smaller than what I'm used to wearing, which I think caused some of my issues since I have such soft tissue.
Sisterhood of the traveling bra! Thank you DerangedDragons19 for sending it to me, and mandapandarawks for starting this off. What a fabulous, generous community we have. Hopefully all these reviews for this bra will help future Kostar shoppers.
Unfortunately unlike the jeans, this bra seems to fit no-one who tries it, haha. I was hoping that since I am in between the sizes of the two previous owners I might get lucky, this bra is so beautiful!
I love the colors and look of the fabric of this bra. I was so hopeful to wear a gorgeous neon piece of lingerie!
This bra is ...wildly off in fit for me. At least 2 cup sizes too small, and 1 band size too big. I will do my best to assess the issues of this bra outside of it not fitting me.
This bra has nice thick straps, and a narrow gore. It seems shallow to me. It also seems closed on top. Those impressions are again as best as I can tell as it wasn’t anywhere close to fitting me. More concerning is that the underwire ends an inch before the channel ends, so you get spillage towards your armpit. The back band also seemed stretchy and not very substantial/ maybe not the best quality. Read more 110 more words
Lol!! Oh my, this poor bra gets passed around more than a cheap whore (my Dad's expression). All the way from Poland and then all over the States. I wonder who it would fit? It's so pretty and unique. I hope it finds a home.
It would be awesome if this ended up with someone who could actually wear it!! I'm glad it's getting passed around and tried out, though. Someday, someone will love this bra and it will be a perfect fit.
Gosh, this has to fit someone! I thought about giving it a try, but I do worry it would not be deep enough for me based on mandapandarawks review. 70Hs and 70Is have been my best fit recently, but I do need plenty of projection.
stacybug , I am happy to send it to you, but it seems to be both shallow on top and on bottom...
veggiechic well heck, what have I got to lose by trying? The measurements seem spot on, so I'm game if you are. PM me if you want to work out the details.
