I was really worried about how this would fit, because in between ordering this bra and receiving it, I had the opportunity to try on a Kris Line Brilliant in 65H, and it was terrible - Panache-wide wires, too tall, shallow in the bottom and empty on top. This, on the other hand, is exactly what I was hoping for, and I am confident in saying that this size, in KL half-padded bras, is my size. The band is a smidge big at 30", but I'm 29-29.5" snug depending on fluid retention, so TTS 30s are all a bit big, and the fabric isn't super stretchy, so I think it's fine. All in all, it fits like someone turned my favourite Comexim plunge into a balconette; in fact if anything, I'd say the wires are slightly better.
I LOVE this bra! It is insanely comfortable and is just a perfect fit! The gore sits flat without cutting into any tissue, which is a miracle considering how close set my boobs are. Besides that, there's no cutting in at the top and no wrinkling at the bottom. This bra must have been sent from heaven or something. On top of all of these perfect fit qualities, it's also insanely cute. Pictures really don't do the embroidery any justice. I'll definitely be scouring bratabase for more of these babies.
I've never had a bra that fits me as well as this one does. It's my first Polish bra, and the cups definitely feel deeper and narrower than the British designs, which works well for me. The top of the band on the back sides is a little too tight, but other than that the bra feels and looks like it was made for me. It's a very cute bra (I've gotten compliments), though I don't love the hearts on the center gore fabric. They're subtle though, so it's all good!
Man, I really wanted this to work - I've missed unlined balconettes since sizing out of Fayreform a million years ago, but this is worse than the Panache bras I've tried (and don't get me started on Freya's stupidly floppy underwires). This is very similar to a 28HH Cleo Lily that I have floating around, except bigger in the cups - there's no way I could fasten it without an extender, then I had three fingers' width between breast tissue and underwire, and even with my ENTIRE HAND in the cup, on my larger side, there was empty space. It's so much bigger than the 65HH Kris Line Cornelia I received in the same order, it's really, really weird.
If you think you're sized out of KL, maybe see if Brastop have any more of these?
My bra size according to the ABTF calculator is 30GG (UK). I'm fob and can wear a 30G in Freya deco with a little quad boob. I opted to order 2 cups up from my "true" size. It was a good thing I did because this bra fit perfect in 30HH. I ordered the bra from Zulily 20 days ago and it arrived today 4 days ahead of the projected shipment date. The band feels snug, with a 29" under bust I found it comfortable but not tight. I wouldn't call it a 28 band. This bra way more projected than my Freya decos, narrower as well. The ...appearance and quality of this bra is off the charts. The strap placement is also much narrower than Freya, and the straps have a U shaped attachment to the band. There are 4 hooks horizontally and 2 hooks vertically, which should extend wear. The gore was nice and low, gave great cleavage. The bra is molded, but has a seem in the bottom, probably to give a more projected shape. Very rounded look. There is a bit of boning on the side outside the cups, I think to smooth things out. The interior of the bra is white and soft. Read more 100 more words
Purchased this in 30HH when I was a 30GG. I was a 30G by the time it arrived, but my guestimate on sizing seemed right. 30HH in this bra fits about like a 30GG. It's still wearable as a 30G, but a teeny bit big.
Half-padded cups with a slot in the fabric for inserts if you feel the need. No inserts came with it.
I kind of love it. Narrow, very forward facing cups. The one thing I don't love is that there was an elastic seam along the top of the cup, not fabric like most bras, which pulled the top of ...the cup quite tight. I'm not FoT, I'm more on the Even side of FoB, and it really cut in quite a lot, so I very carefully removed the elastic and now it's a pretty nice fit. It gapes a tiny bit, but it IS technically a size too big in the cup.
Really cute striped pattern. Big, round shape. Extremely comfortable. The wires are still a bit wide for me, but in the right size they would probably be really good for my narrow/projected boobs. Read more 90 more words
This bra does NOT fit like a 30HH. It's probably more like a 28H.
I usually wear a 30GG or 32G. I tried this bra in 3 sizes, and this was the closest I could get to the right fit in the cups. The band is definitely tight - I could not fasten the 30 without an extension, and the 32 was tight, but bearable. At the end of the day, though, this bra was just the wrong shape for me - not enough projection in the bottom of the cup.
All that being said, this is an absolutely gorgeous bra. ...It is covered with a beautiful and subtle embroidery on the cups, and has lace detailing along the tops of the cups, the center of the band, and the front half of the straps. It is incredibly well made, the fabric is soft and very comfortable, and there is side boning. The wires are nice and narrow, and (at least for me) the wings were high enough to hold everything in, but not so tall they were restricting my arms. I am really crushed that I could not get this bra to fit! Read more 97 more words
This bra is much too small for me and has been for a while, so this is all from memory and what I can observe.
The bra is gorgeous, gorgeous shape (characteristic front and center Kris Line profile), gorgeous color, just... Gorgeous. Seems sturdy, and I never had any issues wearing it. Loved it while it was in my size. Band is quite firm. Straps (amazingly) adjusted short enough for my tiny shoulders - the whole length is adjustable. Highly recommended.
