I have been wanting a corset forever...I have also been wanting to try semi-soft bras for quite a while.

This model was on sale so I decided to take a chance and order it. I am so glad that I did!!

To begin, this is built like a corset that has been attached to a semi-soft bra - What I mean by that, is that all the structure of a bra is built inside, including a band/cradle and then the components of a corset are attached to it.

The band, fastened on the tighter set of hooks fits just like all of my KL 65 bands. So, I would be inclined ... to say that it is tight for a 70.

As for the fit of the bra part - right out of the box, the wires were narrow and the cups were deep and projected. The wires were about 1cm wider than I like and I was about 1/2 finger depth away from tacking - no small miracle. So, I bent my wires in a bit (I do this all the time with my KLs) and now I have a hard tack at the top 3/4 of the gore. The very bottom(1/2 cm) of the gore does not tack, but in a corset, I don't expect such a perfect fit. There is too much going on with adding a body piece.

The bottom 2/3 of the cup is lined with thin corsetry foam - to me, this is the perfect middle ground between a soft bra and a padded bra. (Hurray!! I'l be buying more KL semi-softs in the very near future!!) It is covered with cotton on the inside and pretty printed matte satin knitwear on the front side.

The top 1/3 of the cup is the gorgeous embroidered mesh that I have come to expect from KL - on this model it is 2-toned - black with smokey lavender trim to match the printed knitwear. Stunning. Straps have embroidery on the top/front 1/3, so technically they're not fully adjustable, but I have always been able to pull the adjuster up over the embroidery. Despite being someone who likes her straps short and tight, on my KL bras, I don't need to do this...but I have confirmed that it can be done.

The gore has a small black chiffon bow with a clear crystal charm.

The front body of the corset is shirred black mesh on the sides coming into a center panel of printed knitwear. This has a very slimming, hour-glass figure-creating effect. The bottom is trimmed with the same embroidered mesh as the top 1/3 of the bra.

The back has a full length 2 column hook and eye closure. The sides are matte black knitwear(nice strong powerful stretch) and the center panel, where the hooks are, is the printed knitwear.

Garters/Stocking attachments are adjustable and removable.

The matching Brazil panties (in Poland, they call these stringo-szorty) are gorgeous, with matching embroideries and knitwear, in perfect size and cut as all KL panties are!!

Torpedos away!

I really feel like I could put an eye out in this bra. The way it's designed, all the projection is at the apex and the top is very closed, creating a very pointed shape. Unfortunately, my apex is slightly lower than that of the bra, creating a ridge at the seam between the padded and unpadded parts of the bra. Putting a cookie in makes this ridge mostly go away, but then i quad slightly out of the very closed top.

The band is very stretchy and i need to fasten it on the last hooks right away.

The bra itself is very beautiful. The fabric ... and print are very nice and i appreciate that it has cookie pockets and 4 rows of hooks. I just wish it looked round like it does on their models. If i were doing a retro or pinup look i might put this bra under it, but that's not my style, and with my clothing i think it looks awkward and a bit unnatural (which is funny because my boobs are actually very conical).

I just think I'd be uncomfortable walking around with these torpedos on my chest. For someone FOB with average roots who's between a 32 and 34 band and likes a pointier look, i think this might be the perfect bra, but it's just not for me.

When I first tried this bra on, I didn't like it. I think I was thrown off by the soft fabric at the top of the cup. I normally can't fit very well into completely unlined/nonpadded bras. The more I wore this bra around though, the more I liked it. It's more full coverage than I'm used to, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. My only complaint is that it makes my boobs ever so slightly pointy. I don't think it's enough for anyone to notice though.

Kris Line is a brand I don't really hear much about. It seems to have been eclipsed by other Polish brands, which is a shame. I feel like you might be missing out if you don't give at least one of these bras a try! The Jasmine caught my eye when it was on sale on Brastop, and I read the few reviews I could find about it before deciding on a size. There seemed to be a consistent warning that Kris Line tends to have firm bands. With that in mind, I ordered a 32FF instead of, say, a 30G.

I probably could have gotten away ... with a 30G. Not to say the band is incredibly loose, but I have to use the tightest hooks. However, the bra is quite lovely. I love the color, and the lace is a nice touch. And get this: it's NOT SCRATCHY. I find the cup style is very similar to the Cleo Lucy (5851) however the resulting boob shape is quite different. It's one of those three part, unpadded cups. But unlike the Lucy, it seems to make my boobs quite perky and up front. Without a shirt on, the shape could almost be pointy, but trust me, I've had some bras that really gave me that pointy triangle look, and this isn't one of them. I almost want to call this shape "retro" because it's not uber-rounded? But it looks great under a fitted top.

The Jasmine is also a very comfortable bra. Its straps are set in a little closer and the cup height is good in that it doesn't gouge out my armpits, always a concern if you have a petite frame, or high set breasts. Yes, I have actually slept in this bra.

Since I was pleased with the Jasmine, I went ahead and ordered another Kris Line on clearance. I can't wait until it arrives https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

[Update]: The Bratabase info on Kris Line in general is that they are made for close set breasts. I forgot to add -- mine aren't close set, they are more average, with some splaying? Maybe this particular model is different. The gore *is* narrow, but I like it that way. I've found that gores that are too wide dig into my boob area in an unpleasant manner. In addition, I don't like my boobs pushed into my armpits, which some shallower bras tend to do. I like my boobs pushed forward and up.

To me, this is quite clearly a date night bra! It is a beautiful balcony bra but not necessarily supportive. The main fabric on the cups is black mesh and it's decorated with intricate pink flowers. The cup consists of three parts with vertical seams. The cups are U shaped, with the length of the wires pretty much evenly divided. There is a little half pocket on the side of the cups, I guess for optional padding. There is a daint pink bowtie with little beads attached to the gore. The upper part of the band is black mesh, the lower part is lace. It is pretty stretchy. ... I must say, it fits me pretty well! The half cups almost perfectly encapsulate my breasts with only very minimal gaping at the seam, like, if I stretch my arms out in front you notice it, otherwise not. I'd really need some more side support but perhaps I can bend the wires a little to help with that. I am considering keeping this bra, because I currently have no pretty bras like this one.

Trying something new and gace this a chance based on measurements. It's pretty, but I feel like my boovs just kinda flop down on the cups with little support. Think cups may be too big? Band feels ok but may be on the tight side.

Nice bra. Very low gore and wings. Good for short and narrow roots. However the gore doesn't tack on me and I'm getting some quadding. Need a different size.

Lace is very pretty but definitely will show through light blouses.

Soft lining, pretty lace. Gore doesn't tack and top of cup cuts into my tissue.

Not very much coverage at the sides, but maybe that is because this is a little small.

Ok, so the band on my bra is considerably too big for me. Not quite firm enough even on the tightest hooks. I think the cups feel overall too big, also, but it might be that they are more projected than I like. I've decided that my boobs must be pretty shallow. I still have a bit of overflow centrally. The side of this bra seems exceptionally tall. I've not had the problem of wires digging in to my armpit b/f but this one definitely does, as well as across the front of my arms (which is not unusual for me). Another thing to note is that I ... have the straps done up almost all the way. This is probably at least partially due to the fact it is too big, but I don't think this would be the bra for you if your short in the torso or your boobs are particularly high set.

Having said all this, I actually like the shape the bra gives and I think I would be tremendously happy with the support in a different size. It is a really sweet bra!

~ Fits like 30:9/30G ~

Nicely projected cups, with good bottom depth, and narrow to average wire width. It's got very sturdy wires which hurt a little after a while, but it's manageable, and on my tapered ribcage, they help keep the bra in place - it's a choice between support and comfort (maybe I should sew on some soft padding?) The gore is low enough to allow it to tack to my sternum. The band fits like a 30, and the best setting for me is at the third pair of hooks (there are four columns!) The wires come up at mid-height in the armpits. There's also boning ... at the wings, which feels plastic, but is more durable than the ones in some Freyas, which break within minutes. The top of the cups are made of see-through mesh (with the most exquisite embroidery in light blue, white, and a darker purpley blue). Along the top runs an elastic band, presumably meant to lay against the overbust - if you have short roots. I don't, so instead, it cuts in, creating quadboob in an otherwise well-fitting bra. The elastic also seems to be too tight for the mesh, making it look frumpy. Luckily, it's a quick and easy fix with a seam ripper and a pair of scissors.

Holy shit this is gorgeous and comfortable. Like most of the Kris Line, it runs a bit tight in the band but fairly true to size in the cup. I would recommend hand washing this bra because of the detailing on it. The straps stay in place and are easily adjusted. I tend to move around a lot, so it's a must.
