This is my 2nd Kris Line half cup, and it’s the 2nd one that has a really stretchy band. So my consensus is that the half cup cuts run loose in the band. Also, it’s so funny, in the regular soft cup bras the bands fit TTS but the cups seem too large compared to the same size in the half cups (the 70HH Fortuna soft cup was too large/baggy in the cups but perfect on the band, but the 70HH Kiara half cup fits well for my in the cups even though the band is too loose ...— so my conclusion is to size up for the cup in the half cups and down in the bands compared to whatever size fits in the regular Kris Line soft cups.)
This bra is gorgeous! It’s burgundy lace with a cheetah print band on the top. Half cups really give me a nice shape — I get a little lift and “oomph” to my bust and a good silhouette under clothes.
This half cup is too small and short in the cups, so too much of the top of my bust shows. It looks okay in my pictures, but in person you can definitely tell the cups are slightly too low. The wires are VERY narrow. I didn’t notice it hurting or anything, but I can tell if I wore this long term that it would be an issue. Just looking at the wires with the bra off tells me they’re too narrow. The gore is the perfect height! Compared to my 70HH - Kris Line » Kiara Black Half Cup Soft (FW19-05-L-1000), the gore is shorter and doesn’t sit on tissue. I’m not sure how the gore would fit on a size up, though.
I’d I’m able to do a return to jagna.pl, I’m going to try this in a 65I. I think that size will be what works for me for these half cups.
(PS: just a note on an observation from buying quite a few Kris Line bras directly from Poland — I’ve noticed that most of the Kris Line bras I’ve purchased that have come straight from their warehouse have an odor (almost like a stale cigarette smell). Not sure if it’s the dyes/materials or if it is cigarette smoke for real, but just something to be aware of is anyone is considering purchasing any Kris Line bras from Polish websites that stock from their warehouse directly. The odor does go away after being washed, but just something to be aware of.) Read more 328 more words
Congrats on the bra win!! I don't remember odor on the bra I purchased - which was actually directly from KrisLine.com (I used a proxy buying service to purchase bras in Poland, even though I live in Canada). It was Kris Line Fortuna (here is my review) which was directly from their website.
I've never had an issue with odor - NeVER - with my Polish bras.
The only issue I've had are the made-in-China bras, Panache wired sports bra. Why is there always an odor with this bra? No matter how much you wash it, there's always a factory smell with Panache wired sports bra, am I the only one who notices this?? I've had two different ones. Also, I have a super sensitive nose, lol. (I mean, sense of smell).
This is so gorgeous on you!! I love the lace detailing in the back
Absolutely love this bra. I had to pull the wires out a bit because they were too narrow but it fits great. I am on the last row of hooks so I don't know if a 65 would be better.
Finally found a bra that has enough projection for me. I haven't been able to find a UK bra that fits right up under my boob crease and this one is perfect! Just wish there were more colours. I have projected boobs which are bottom heavy. The great thing about this bra is that its only half padded and the top of the cup is soft lace so even though thats only part of the bra that doesn't fit me perfectly, the minimal creasing doesn't really show because of the drape.
This bra is amazing! I can't quite tell, though, but it may be a slight bit too small for me in the cups. It's hard to say, but the outside wire may be a little too narrow for me and may be sitting on a small amount of breast tissue. I can't tell, though, so I am going to say for now that it fits.
Otherwise, this bra is amazing! The cups have some foam padding at the bottom, but the top panel is only a small layer of jersey type fabric that stretches very nicely. I think if you did have one cup size too small, you probably ...wouldn't be able to tell since this fabric will not cut in and cause quadraboob. In fact, it stretches perfectly over the top of my breasts and provides the perfect amount of coverage.
The shape is not the kind I normally go for. It is very uplifted (which I like), but there is a slight pointed shape to it that I don't like. Almost like the green shape on Bras I Hate. However, this bra is so comfortable, I don't mind the slightly pointed shape. Read more 85 more words
this just goes to show that checking measurements and doing your research doesnt always work out T___T i've been dying to try kris line! this bra fits my left boob great, but my right boob has the biggest gapping i've ever seen on myself with a bra! im so bummed out because the fabric/material is soooo buttery and comfy, and i wanted a kris line bra in my collection so bad. thank you pretty_promise for giving away this bra to me, but looks like i'll have to pass it on once more https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Sorry that it didn’t work out for you! I find sometimes that Kris line bras are different from bra to bra even in the same sizes. At least you know where to start with what size you might need for the brand, though!
Having a Goldilocks issue with Brilliant. 70I was too large, 70H seems too small. Gore floats and when I push it down, the cups quad. I would probably fit better in a 70HH at this moment in time. I’m not easily able to get ahold of a 70HH Brilliant atm, so I’ll have to stick with this for now.
An incredibly beautiful bra that I am unable to evaluate because I didn't get the right size. I have the feeling it would look and fit great if it came in a 70L/75K based on how much too small the cups are. I feel like the band is pretty generous and the materials are stunning. Construction quality looks good.
If I had tried this on in a shop, I probably wouldn't have bought it - the shape is somewhat "elf-shoe" and I've got the typical problem of a bit of gaping on my R boob (smaller). But, it was cheap on zulily and as the other bras I tried totally didn't work, I was so pleased that this fit I stuck it in my closet. I do really like the pattern - tiny white & green flowers - and it's comfortable. The turned-up shape is less noticeable once under a shirt.
It's a molded cup, so it's got a bit more of a smoothing effect. Even though I don't 100% fill out the top of the cup, it holds it shape. Very front-and-center, though the side support is so strong, it almost gives a bit of a pointy shape. I'd like a little more lift, but that's because my breasts are fairly low on my chest--anything short of a pulley system is going to feel a little low to me.
Most incredibly, the wires are narrow enough! I have never found another bra that doesn't creep too far under my armpits. Very strong, very sturdy hold, beautiful satiny fabric, very narrow wires, and removable pads for va-va-voom cleavage. Comparable to Curvy Kate's showgirl line, but with EXTREMELY narrow wires instead of extremely wide ones.
Got this from someone who is 30G/GG, and I'm about a 30H/HH. We're both a bit fuller on the bottom - she found it too big, I found it too small! Maybe this is ideal for someone on the GG/H border?
This bra is super gorgeous, right up my alley in terms of style. The top section is stretchy which is great for accommodating different shapes or asymmetry. I liked the gore height - low enough for nice, smooth cleavage, but high enough to be contained and unconcerned with spilling out. Shape is projected with lift, reminds me of the Freya Deco and various Polish bras in general. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />
However, be warned - this bra does not have the loose stretchy feel of UK bras, and is especially different compared to Freya's loose bras. It feels like it just wraps snugly right around you without stretching to accomodate.
When this fit, it was one of my favorite bras of all time. The top part is firm enough to keep boobage from spilling over, but flexible enough to not cut in for those of us who are full on top. Usually I'm not one for shine and sparkle, but the detailing on the cups of this is really subtle and I find it to be lovely. The color works great under dark tops, and it's pretty smooth even under tight T-shirts. Gives that great right out front Kris Line shape. Band is firm, straps almost entirely adjustable. Highly, highly recommended. I mourn that this bra doesn't come in my current size.
This bra felt fantastic! So fantastic that I'm tempted to keep it even though it doesn't quite fit perfectly (the center gore doesn't come close to touching once I scoop and swoop - pre S&S it's pretty close). The lace detailing on the bottom of the bra is gorgeous, and I love how the top part of the cup that encloses the boob is stretchy fabric, so it doesn't cut in. This bra also has 4 columns of hooks, allowing for even more adjustment on tightness.
Also, the wires on this bra were very sturdy, and didn't stretch out when I did up the band.
Congrats on the bra win!!
