This bra is literally perfection, I love it so much! I already reviewed the 80JJ - Kris Line » Veronica Soft (L1103), but I’d like to review the actual construction of the bra more in-depth here.
First though I just wanted to note that the 80K doesn’t tack on the gore still, but the cups are an inch deeper than the 80JJ, which is better. Unfortunately, I’ve recently read that Kris Line gores are manufactured to tack softly, and I’m not sure if that’s entirely true but in my case it seems like I still can’t get a hard tack, so the cups are either still not ...deep enough or what I read is true. Either way, I’m unable to get this in an 80KK at this point, so I’ll be sticking with this one and dealing with the minor fit issues. I’m afraid if I were to go larger it might get baggy and the straps would be too wide. But I digress...
Okay, on to the construction! This is a strappy bra that is adjustable in a couple of ways. The middle strap has 3 different loops it can be connected to, which means the “T” part of the strap is adjustable. (I’m not sure if that’s common for strappy bras or if just the sides are adjustable?) The straps connect on the bra straps in 2 locations on each strap, and can be used with one strap going across from one side to the other, or with two straps connected to one side and twisted/looped back in the middle — I added a couple of pictures to show how the straps work.
The bra is constructed as a side support bra. The cups are constructed with a vertical piece of elastic that is on the side of the bra. Unfortunately, this part of the construction is one of the fit issues I’m encountering because the elastic puckers when I raise my arms, which tells me it’s too small. Also, when this happens, there is bulging of breast tissue in either side of the elastic. Totally not flattering, but honestly who is even going to see it anyway besides myself?
The cups are lined with nude colored mesh on the inside. It is not itchy, but it also doesn’t stretch as well as other mesh I’ve encountered on other Kris Line bras. The outside mesh/lace has a floral pattern. Really cute!
The band is snug, which is great because and 80 band in Kris Line is typically too stretchy for me. It’s a very firm band, which I like. Very comfortable.
The bra straps are thick and well-constructed. The only issue I’ve found with the straps is that the part that adjusts is too tight, so I had difficulty adjusting the straps to be tighter. I could probably adjust another inch on each side because they are still too loose.
Overall, this is a really pretty bra, and it seems very comfortable. I adore the decorative straps. Like I said, hopefully I’ll be able to deal with the minor fit issues since I can’t get this in another size up (being a limited release and all). The main points I was trying to make: -This weird space at the gore. -The wires seem perfect on the sides but weird in the middle by the gore. -I think this might be a “parachute bra”. -I’m keeping it because I don’t want to deal with return shipping to Poland again. -I’m planning on using this bra to experiment with different wires that I ordered online.

The quality is typical Kris Line quality. It’s comfortable, but it isn’t a great fit. The appearance is on par with the other 3 Fortunas I’ve owned and/or tried.
I love leopard print so naturally I had to try this bra. It's okay.. the fabric is a little trippy, and it looks kinda cheap, like you know "cougar" lingerie? haha. reminds me of something like that.
I chose the size 80K because I own two 75K Kris Line, and I figured this bra would be closer to my Kris Line Mirabella, that fits me a little small right now, so I opted for a band up and cup up instead. But it seems Kris Line is very inconsistent with sizing, because this bra has a very weird fit. The band is too big, so I would not recommend ...sizing up in the band in the future, I'd just use an extender if I needed. Putting it on on the tightest hooks still made the band ride up.
The cup is very tall, and not projected enough for me, the other 2 KL bras I have fit much more projected than this one. The gore floats far away aswell.
The bra is unlined and has optional cage straps. It came with the straps attached so I didn't have to fiddle with attaching them myself which was nice. They cut in a little when moving around though so I would probably skip wearing them, although it looks cool under a tank top with them peeking out, if you're into that!
It has very wide straps which are soft and comfortable but for someone who has a narrow frame I think the super wide straps would mean they will cut into your armpits which could be annoying. The straps are longer than Ewa Michalak straps so they adjust better for me because I am tall and low set.
It does have narrow wires but they are very tall so not great either.
The bra is NOT comfortable. The wires in my IMF are incredibly stiff, and the material doesn't feel soft there, it left marks after minutes of wear and was just really really uncomfortable. I would not recommend this bra at all purely based on that. No bra is worth that discomfort honestly. Read more 240 more words
Just looking at your pics, it don't look bad you get a nice shape - although its a bit too tall. Don't you just hate inconsistent sizing and uncomfortable materials. :(

This bra is spectacular. Based on looks alone I would consider replacing the wire with a softer, shorter one from an old, ready to retire bra. It is VERY easy to do and I have been pleased with the results as it saves a lovely bra and restores comfort. If you can live with a floating gore, it might be a consieration.
I returned this but yes if you really love the look of a bra and is not willing to give it up, changing the gore could work. I personally found the gore to be far too floaty to feel supportive and even look nice. I do think the shape was wonderful but it was not comfortable overall. Not sure simply changing the wire would make it comfortable "enough" for me either as the fabric is pretty stiff along the wire channel aswell.
Definitely a better fit that the 75Ks; still a bit small in the cups, particularly on the larger side. The straps and band have a firm hold. The lift and projection is great. Embroidery and seaming is beautiful!
