I would have thought that when the Tisha Lace regular bra fit in a 32G, the wireless in 34F would be pretty similar. I try on this wireless 34F and one of my wired 32G Tishas I'd only worn once or twice before gaining weight. Which is about how much I wore this one before I gained. However, this wireless 34F bra is much more difficult to hook.
I know I gained weight and it doesn't fit, but I wanted to try to wear this bra briefly again for comparison purposes so I can buy other wireless bras. There are good reasons to have wireless bras!
Wireless is better at ...PMS time for me, for one. I can even get tender breasts at other times too. Plus if I need to go on an airplane wireless doesn't set off metal detectors. And though this is too structured of a bra for me to sleep in, even without wires, sometimes I need to sleep in a bra.
I'd think if I got bigger everywhere, the 34 should be easier than the 32 to hook, since cup volume of 32G and 34F ought to be essentially the same.
But turns out that 32G wired bra still fits better than this one, even being much easier to hook- and I know why, actually- when I lean over the wired cup keeps my boobs in place while I hook it, and this wireless lets them slip backward a bit.
And I know at the moment neither bra "fits" fits, but the funny thing is, the 32G wired one fits better.
Something about the material of this one seems cheaper than the wired one, too. Look bra companies, some of us have good reasons to look for wireless bras, even if we are busty. I don't NEED a wire every day, even if people think I "should" wear one. Do I need a wired bra to watch TV at home? Read more 210 more words
Originally, I had been wearing the Safari Perfect Uplift in 32G, and it fit great. The graduated padding gave a nice little boost that helped fill the lack of bottom fullness. (I am 'mostly even/somewhat FoT'.) Now a couple of years later, the band started getting too tight, and uncomfortable to wear all day, and the cups started to quad ever so slightly. For a while it helped to wear it with an extender, but then even that wasn't enough. The quadding became more pronounced. Hence, I tried first going up a band size/down a cup size. The result is ...the band is perfect, but... 1: the cups are now too wide (sit too far into my underarms); 2: the straps are placed too far apart (cut into my armpits, and the cups buckle and gape with anything less than perfect posture); 3: the gore is too tall (the wires twist as if to try to lay one on top of the other).
* So yes, it appears the cups are still small that I would need to try the 34G; but the 34DDD/F is already too wide.
* Of note, the straps on the 34" band are wider and feel more secure. Both sizes have rows of 3 hooks.
* Bottom line, the difference between band sizes is consistent, but Le Mystere increased cup size by width, making the sizing inconsistent. The cups on the 34" are more shallow than the 32", so there's no point trying the 34G...sigh! Read more 149 more words
This bra unfortunately did not suit me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Underwire runs wide for my frame, and I found my breasts positioned very east-west and with flatness at front of my chest. Moulded bra, I filled at the sides but not at the top or front (my breast tissue is soft).
I have narrow root, low set, FOT breasts, & this bra fits me perfectly. There is enough room at the top of the cup for my breasts but i also fill out the bottom of the cup with no wrinkling (a problem i usually have with underwire styles that have no band under the wires). It has 3 rows & columns of hooks (Yeay!). The straps and band are firm, but stretchy, comfy & stay in place. (All non-racer straps fall off my shoulders bc i have to buy demi styles and my shoulders are more narrow than bra makers think a 34DDD should be.) The wires are ...wide enough to contain all breast tissue. I think it is very pretty, &gives a rounded shape under clothes. According to another site, it has 1/8" padding, but that can't be correct; it seems more like 1.5-2 mm to me. The only problem i might have is that the cups might be a little too high under my armpit, but i love the bra so much that, if it becomes uncomfortable, i will have it altered in that spot. In my opinion, it is true to size in the band and the cups. (I wear a 34E in most Freya and Parfait.) Read more 104 more words
I've tried a few Safari's now and on each one I get the appearance of major linebacker shoulders. The 32" band provides the best tension; the 34" fits too loose but does not lessen the problem with the upper back. I've tried a larger cup in the 32" which helped somewhat, but not nearly enough. I like the shape of the cup well enough, even though the bottom tends to buckle a bit, in both the 32G or the 34F. (The wires on the 32G sit well in my IMF but the 34F falls out and the cups still buckle.) The straps on either the ...32" or 34" always feel short and I have to lengthen them as much as possible. I've tried tightening the straps to correct the wire falling out/cups buckling, but #1: doesn't fix the problem, #2: is very uncomfortable on the shoulders. This Crushed Violet colorway is a gorgeous Plum Purple, and the fabrics seem softer and more comfortable than the Nude or Capri Floral, which both feel very stiff while wearing.
What I wish I could find is something that has the back detail of the 'Wacoal Fire and Lace' with the projected cups & narrow wires of the Safari, padded or not. (If anyone knows of something like that feel free to chime in!) Read more 117 more words
The cups on this bra are just too hard for me. It's a nice shape but has nothing to do with my actual breasts. The top line of the cup is sharp because of the hardness - it feels like a shell or even battle armor. It is very comfortable and again a great shape - but all cup. No cleavage whatsoever (but don't always need that). Lace straps are pretty and this is prettier than the regular Tisha.
Another gorgeous le mystere bra, although not as comfortable as the Safari. But the foam is a little too firm for my squishy boobs. It shelfs me and gaps in every direction. Silhouette on the pointy side of round but not excessively so.
Cups were slightly too large for my breast shape and did not fill them out. There was room left at the bottom and tips of the bra. Band was extremely tight. When used with a bra extender, the band felt better and felt secure. Straps are comfortable thick.
I really like this bra even though it doesn't fit. I will be ordering again in another size. It is so pretty and I love the design with the full coverage lace straps. And I really like that they can convert into a halter.
Overall the bra is just too big, I will need to find it in a 32E. The band is quite stretchy so I can pull it out a lot even on the tightest hooks. The center gore is too wide for me causing the bra to come out too far on the outside so the lace straps rub against my arms.
Despite all of that, I wore this out for an evening of bowling with friends and I was actually really comfortable the whole time. Even with it being too big, I didn't find myself tugging or pulling at it at all.
