This kind of reminds me of a swim suit top. I was looking for bras that look good under fairly loose shirts and layers I wear when working from home. You know, enough structure to just push my breasts a bit forward and up. As much as I wish it, most women's clothes (or mens) are tailored for people like me with wide splayed breasts to go braless. Luckily his definitely fits the bill. I wish the band was just a little tighter though, since if I am active in it (running for the bus or something) my breasts have slipped under the bottom into the band...it doesn't look bra though, it's just not right. However, as a work from home, grab groceries and coffee bra, it is fine.
This bra is a heartbreaker. The band stretches to 36" and I'm not even pulling it to the max. I'm curious if the other colors it comes in would be less stretchy, but this is the color I fell in love with.
As far as molded wireless cups go, these surprise me with their depth. I anticipated a shallower, smaller bra overall. This is one of the better ones I've tried in terms of cup depth. Unfortunately the tall cups just don't sit right on me, they cut in but also have empty bubbles of space near the straps where I don't fill the cups out. They are wide set as expected.
The straps adjust from the front. It seems all or most Lively Bras have this feature, which I approve of.
The quality seems good for $35, though the band material feels a bit flimsy and thin. This one will definitely turn up and wrinkle as longline bras tend to do.
About me: 32:8 index size, wide breast roots, somewhat side set, somewhat pointed, fuller on bottom. Tried on, will return. Not supportive, it is just all around too big. Lively doesn't make cups larger than DDD and sister sizing didn't work for me. Also the wing height is high enough to be uncomfortable on the armpit.
About me: 32:8 index size, wide breast roots, somewhat side set, somewhat pointed, fuller on bottom. Tried on (size is actually called "1"), will return. Doesn't offer size above DDD, sister sizing was no good for me--cups too small and band too big. Not a supportive build.
As a bralette I did not expect a perfect fit. But I was surprised that it doesn't fully cover breast tissue at sides. The crochet shows under thin fabrics. Better used as sexy, stay at home bra than every day wear. It does not have a very stretchy band. It does stretch, but minimally. Or maybe it feels that way because the band is not soft. A little scratchy as reviewers have commented.
Edit: It amazes me how quickly the band stretched another 2 inches. No longer so scratchy. I would say this bra fits, but it still leaves the side boob exposed. There is no wing.
This bra ended up being too big for me. The cups are wide as expected but provide a decent amount of depth compared to similar 32DDD wireless moulded bras.
The band is fairly true to size. The straps adjust from the front but are only half adjustable due to the j-hook loop. I find the straps to be too long. If you use the j-hook, you'll be okay, but it may not work for some who don't want to use the j-hook.
I would be curious to try this in 32DD, but truthfully Victoria's Secret has my wireless needs taken care of and I need to quit buying more on impulse, lol.
This seems like a pretty basic t-shirt bra. The fit is as expected, nothing ground breaking. The cups run a bit small, shallow, and closed on top. It has cute lace strap details, a nice contrasting band color, and a j-hook, but realistically a "cute" t-shirt bra in this size range can be picked up anywhere now.
The band on this one is a truer to size. The white strip at bottom provides a firm support that I like. The straps adjust from the front but are only halfway adjustable before hitting the j-hook loops. I find the straps nearly too long, so I'm sure others will have trouble ...with it too.
A 32DDD might eliminate quadboob and fit better, but I'm not super interested in ordering it right it now. They do accept returns but don't do exchanges currently. I would have to wait for the return to ship back and process, get my money back, then place another order. Their free shipping was super slow ground shipping so I've definitely lost interest and don't want to wait another 3-4 weeks. Read more 72 more words
