This bra fit beautifully and then I shrank a little again due to hormones and timing. The cup gaps a bit on my smaller side due to the height of the cup, which irrationally irritates me, so I will look for ways to fill the gap. On my larger side it fit perfectly. The bra is very lightly lined and feels very supportive and comfortable. My only issue is that the gore comes up a fraction of an inch too high. It made my sternum quite sore the first time I wore it, but I've grown accustomed to the wires and I'm okay with it now, even ...if sometimes it does rub a little wrong.
It's a very pretty bra and the lilac disappears even underneath white shirts. The cups are rounded with a slight taper, which is the appearance I love from bras (I don't appreciate a too-rounded look). The spacing gives me a perfect "cakes on a plate" look, which I also love. Due to my anatomy, I also need a slight east-west design rather than perfectly front and center. I also just learned I needed a little projection from a bra. Previously I had been wearing shallow Natoris and I needed a little extra room. This bra checks all of those boxes for me. If it weren't for the slightly too-high gore, I would say it was 100% perfect. Read more 124 more words
I had such high hopes for this bra which I got to replace the too small 30DD - Lulu Tout ยป Amelie Balcony Bra (a-dd) (133518) I had. It's beautiful, but sadly not even close to fitting me. I might have gotten away with it but the apex is very high, probably at least half an inch above where I need it to be. The lace overlay's seaming sadly exacerbates the appearance of this issue. I think this bra would give a bit of a pointy shape, which I don't mind. It's a little big overall, but I think it's mostly a shape issue. The gore is one of the most painful I've encountered. It would probably be okay with some bending if the rest of it fit. The band runs firm but not as tight as the A-DD cut, if you're a solid 30 you might need an extender.
I really like this bra. My first that's actually my size (I measure 28F/30E). It still seems just a tad too shallow for my breasts (the underwire doesn't stay under my IMF for more than a few hours). The wire is kind of long for my taste. Although they're pretty narrow they just feel too long. But none of these are deal breakers for me. I love how I look under tshirts now! I feel very supported.
I have tried Freya's Deco, Honey Deco, Hattie and Parfait's Casey. Deco and Hattie are OK, but I did have some fit issues (gaping in the center) and they gave me more cleavage that I like in a t-shirt bra. This one is better and it will be my go-to when I need a smooth nude bra under light fitted knit tops. 30 band is firm, fitting in between 28 and 30 band sizes, which is perfect for my 27 inch underbust.
I'm normally wearing 28DD/E's so this didn't fit, as expected, but I had to try it anyway because it's soo cute! The colour is beautiful, nice and rich. The band is tight, it felt about the same as my Cleo Juna 28F band even though this a 30. I don't have any input on the cup shape, because the cups were to big on me, but the wires felt okay. The cups have two layers (I've tried to take pictures to show this) and there's a "hole" in the centre gore, which I think is quite unique and gives the bra a special touch. To bad it isn't in my size, because I still love the look.
