    Didn't fit

Are you ready for more Polish bra-buying adventures? Lol.

Ohhh, this bra is crushing because it doesn't fit, but I actually super love the colours & the style (the aesthetics of the bra); I even went to Nordstom the other day to scope out bras, I think I would prefer this bra to any of the bras they had at Nordstrom; in their defense, there wasn't a huge selection there though. I was probably most impressed with their Elomi bras, but I digress...

This is a really nice bra I got for 10.50 euro (+ shipping) from Lupoline's website; I used a package forwarder, Shopogolic.net, to shop ... from various websites in Poland.

I think this bra only ended up on clearance because it did not photograph well! I honestly thought I was buying a beige bra, but surprise, surprise, it's dusty rose! The fabric has a sheen to it that's just lovely. I took pictures under various lighting to try to capture it's colour accurately; it's cream-coloured roses, with a sheen (sparkles!) and a dusty rose background. The fabric on the outside of the cups looks quite delicate, so probably not the sturdiest of fabrics, but it is pretty.

I'm so bummed that the sizing is not quite right for me, and I hate to part from this bra because it is totally my style; it has an old-fashioned flair, but the sheen on this fabric prevents it from being grannie; plus, it has a thin lace ruffle on both the top of the cup & the bottom of the band that I kind of like; this bra shines in various lighting (enter, the princess...)

As far as sizing, the band is just too small; it is a 70 band; even though the calculator is putting me at 32GG, I would need to size up in Lupoline (same as Gorteks and Gaia) because their bands are firm.

Also, I am not filling the top of the cups; I guess I could try down a cup in Lupoline, but I'm also wondering if the shape is not right for me. It looks like Lupoline cups (at least for this bra) are good for narrow roots and upper fullness; even looking at the Lupoline model on Instagram, https://www.instagram.com/lupoline_official/ it looks like they design their bras for a different breast shape than mine, at least in the larger cup sizes. It looks like their model(s) have more upper fullness than what I have, so idk.

The wings and bra straps are ballet pink, and it has 3 x 4 hook-and-eye fasteners. Also, the bra straps are quite thick, 2 cm, which I appreciate.

The package forwarding service I used, shopogolic.net, combines all items into one large package, then ships it to me in Canada. The final shipping to Canada was kind of expensive - with insurance it was $43, so I bought 7 bras from various websites to make the final shipping fee worth it, if that makes sense, because that way it would only be an extra $6 - $7 per bra.

I've read some reviews that said that Shopogolic is not reliable, so I would only shop with them using PayPal, because at least that way, one has insurance if the product gets lost, or not delivered. It was kind of nice to be able to shop from *any* website in Poland; I figured that since bras are so light, it wouldn't be much more to add more bras to the batch - at least that's how I decided to buy 7 new bras; the more you spend, the more you save!

I will probably buy another Lupoline bra this year, but I will aim for size 75H next time, which is not an exact sister size, but one cup smaller, and one band size larger. This bra might be a similar quality to the two Gaia bras I got recently, which sell for $64 cad at Polka Dot bras in Winnepeg, MB, and $100 cad at Forever Yours in Langley, BC, but I happen to like the aesthetics of this Lupoline bra a lot better (it shines!) But probably not as good as Corin, Dalia, Comexim, or Ewa Michalak bras - this is just my opinion though.

All I know is: Continental Europeans have access to THE.BEST.BRAS! I'm glad I could shop virtually in Poland, even if the shipping in the end was kind of slow and expensive, I still saved a lot of money in the end. Probably next time I will buy Lupoline from Misterna.pl though, as I'm not sure how many more bras I'll need; I'm disappointed that it didn't fit, but I did learn about Lupoline's quality and sizing, so it was a good experiment, and in the end I can hopefully find a good home for this beauty.

Oh man that looks like a really cool vintage lace. So sorry it didn’t fit! I’m convinced it just costs a million bucks to ship to Canada no matter what it is. You’d think you live on an island or something requiring expensive import. I’m also totally on the same page. The more you buy the more you save, especially when it involves a higher shipping cost.

    • 1

      Happy2BraShop , yes, exactly!

I calculated that the shipping for one bra (Poland --> Canada) using their service would've been like $35 just for one item, (that is including the optional insurance, which I wanted in case it got lost), so it was only between $1-$2 more per bra...so might as well add more, of course!

For whatever reason the shipping they use is eBay's shipping, it's kind of slow, but I ended up *not having to pay any duty fees* -so that was a bonus, too! Lol.

    • 4

BraOdyssey Too bad we can’t make a Bratabase conference meetup and travel as a group to Poland for bras one of these days. Lol we can all stuff our new bras into one big extra suitcase and split the cost to fly it back haha. Or we can all just wear all the bras at once on the plane. Haha
TSA: “Why do you have so many bras on?”
Me: “I’m concerned with my nipples showing because it’s cold on the plan.” Lol

    • 1

This bra looks so lovely! Do you think the UK size equivalent would be 30HH?

I'm so tempted to use a parcel forwarding service now that you've mentioned it - I hope they ship to Australia! It cost me $56 for shipping on my misterna.pl order.

    • 1

curioustime , re: Misterna.pl shipping - oh no, why is it so much more expensive?? I think my Misterna shipping the last time (Valentine's Day sale) was between $7 - $9 cad?? IIRC. I only bought one thing though.

I read on one of the reviews for Shopogolic that the shipping took 2 months from Poland to Australia, IIRC. I'm not sure why it takes so long. (I don't know what item that person bought though).

I tried to calculate it here https://shopogolic.net/en/delivery#calculator-va-pay-methods, Poland ---> Australia, 1 Kg weight, and it looks like the prices are the same (extra $6 for insurance).

It's a possible recommendation, I would hate to recommend it and then have the service take like FOREVER. The put my 7 bras in a 10 x 12 x 5.5 inch box. I would only use PayPal, just in case (insurance for purchases).

According to bratabase, this size compares to 28H in Freya, or 30GG in Curvy Kate - you can see this huge gap in my back - it doesn't close at all, so I wonder if this particular bra is actually closer to a 28 band Freya.

    • 3

Happy2BraShop , yes, I have even thought of that as well, lol.

Like, maybe we should just fund one person per year from bratabase to travel to Poland, stay in an airbnb for a week, and make purchases for everyone - then fly back!

I think for Canada, they would go through the suitcase and be like, "Hey, you bought all this stuff - pay up on your taxes!!"

    • curioustime , yes, I mean - I agree w/ your suggestion - I think it would be about 30HH UK with a very frim band.

(I think I measure the cups weird - like I think I don't stretch out the cups as much as I should when I measure them....if that makes sense).

    • 1

In all fairness, I did order around 10 bras - shipping likely increases with more items. I'll look more into the parcel forwarding - hopefully this will make more brands accessible to me! I still need to try out Lupoline.

    • 1

This is such a pretty bra, it's a shame it doesn't fit. I sized down in my first Lupoline by one cup because I'd read somewhere on here that they fit really deep in the cup, but it actually ended up being too small. I ordered another Lupoline in the same size I order all my Polish bras in (65J) off of morganti.pl and I'm waiting to receive it now.
This parcel forwarding service has got me curious to try ordering from nieblizna.pl again, I really want that Gorsenia Malaga, haha. I also would love to be able to shop at Kontri.pl

    • curioustime , oh I thought you had already tried them from misterna *but I guess I got you mixed up with another person. Definitely Lupoline runs tight in the band and large in the cup - which is kind of good in a way, because it makes the size range larger.

I think of all the Polish brands I tried (in this Polish bra haul), Kris Line was the most similar to a UK brand (IMO) *as far as the band*

Rehmania , yeah Kontri.pl seemed like a good sight. I mean, when I submitted my order (to package forwarding place) my order arrived from Kontri, no problemo.

I definitely want to try another Lupoline bra, I'll try to guess a better size. The thing is: it looks so different from the picture - I mean, I like it a lot better in person.

So, that makes me wonder what their other bras look like in person, lol.

ALSO, on the Polish Guides for ABTF- there is an "aggregator website" (it pulls bras from a combination of Polish websites) that I used to search for the best deals https://domodi.pl/bielizna/bielizna-damska/biustonosze

You can search by "size" and "brand" on Domodi.pl (although I am different sizes in different brands, so it is a couple of different searches each time, LOL)

I found it though the Polish Guides https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/wiki/polish_guide#wiki_domodi

The benefits to using a package forwarder, one can use any Polish website https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/wiki/polish_guide# - although I don't know if all of these websites are equally reliable though! (that's why I suggest that people use PayPal as insurance, since the company is overseas.) : ) Good luck, I'll be interested to see how your Lupoline fits.

    Fits

My first Lupoline bra. (I have one more and will share the review tommorow).
I got this bra today from Astratexu on a sale and I am really happy with the appearance and fit.
I've read that it runs 1-2 sizes big in the cup and I think it is true - size 65M equals 30J but my Curvy Kate bras that kind of fit are size 30K.
The bra is unpadded, in a nice bright red colour with lace in the inner and upper part of the cups. It is lined in beige mesh (works as nude for my pale skin) and on the top edge of the cups there ... is only the beige mesh + red hem, which creates a fake "strappy" appearance (I'm not sure how to explain it, take a look at the photos).
The band fits great on me, it's very firm with enough support.
The cups have a lot of projection near the wire and in the inner part of the cups. It's a three part cup with a bit more coverage than my Curvy Kate balkonettes.
But lets talk about the best feature of this bra - the lift and shape are amazing! And the wires are quite narrow.
The only issues I have - the central gore could be a bit narrower, the right cup wrinkles a bit and the left is slightly too small but this happens in every bra because my left breast is bigger and produces more milk... Also, I can nurse in it comfortably.

Yeah! Happy to see more reviews of this brand. I have been checking them out for quite some time now. It's not a ton of money and they offer size 30 bands. Interesting that they run large in cup size. It seems that most french brands seem to run large in cup size.

    • 2

Thanks for the review! I'll probably try out a Lupoline in my next bra order. Glad to see that the cups running large seems to be consistent so I know to size down.

This is my second Lupoline bra. It's half padded, three part cup with elasticated lace in the upper part of the cup. It has an off-white colour.

It runs large in the cup, which seems to be a consistent feature with this brand (one I am happy with, since I am on the upper end of the size range od most companies) - 65L (30HH) is only slightly too small on my left breast, while in other brands I am between 30JJ/K.

The band of this bra is really tight - I am in between 28 and 30 band with my ribcage measuring 68-72 cm, but this bra ... felt uncomfortable after a few hours and I had to take it off. The soft bra from Lupoline had a stretchier band so I didn't experience this issue. I'd need to wear this bra with ani extender. If I ever purchase this model again, I'd probably buy a 70 band.

When I looked at this bra, I immediately noticed the placement of the vertical seem is much closer to the center of the bra - which I believe gives much more central projection, which makes the bra suited well for people with a lot of inner fullness.

It gives great lift and I am really happy with the shape - it really makes my breasts look like they are being lifted on a shelf.

    The wires are quite narrow.

I am keeping this bra although it's a bit too small because I expect my breasts to get smaller when I am breastfeeding less often. I can wear it even now, the overspill is not really noticable under clothes.

Because of the elasticated lace, this bra is suitable for nursing.

I ordered a Lupoline bra in size 70J (one cup size small, at the time of ordering) but now I have lost one inch in my bust measurement, so I am thinking it is going to be too big. Oh well, we'll see.

Such a Polish shape from the side - very uplifted!! Looks great.

    • 1

Thank you for this review! I ordered a Lupoline 140 bra in a 65I, which is about one to two cup sizes down for me currently, mainly because like BraOdyssey, I’ve lost/am losing a couple cms off my bust measurement so I’m hoping that it won’t be too big.

I love the styles from this brand and I’m hoping to be able to add them to my Polish bra collection.

    Hasn't set fit

    Construction:
Balconette. Lower sections one layer of non-stretch fabric, upper section stretch mesh with elasticated trim (trim is quite stretchy). Center gore is two layers, upper layer the same material as lower sections of the cup, bottom layer sheer non-stretch fabric. Full band construction, band elastic quite soft. Section from cup side to boning channel is the same fabric as lower sections of cup. Boning channel is on the inside with pretty soft, flexible boning. Main section of the band is powermesh similar to the cup fabric. Straps are slightly wide and connect to both upper and lower cup sections - less with lower section.

    Fit:
Fits big in cup, like ... a smaller 32GG. Firm band. Cups are narrow and on the deeper side. Wires are U-shaped and relatively firm. Cup separation is not as narrow as some other Polish bras. Straps are fully adjustable - there is decorative ribbon at the front but adjuster slides on it easily. Three rows of hooks in four(!) columns.

    Shape:
Subtly rounded, slightly minimized. A little bit more cleavagey than your average balconette.

    Appearance:
Very minimalist and simple look. I would say it looks like an elegant everyday bra. Lower sections of the cup, band and straps have a subtle sheen. Mesh section is quite sheer and matte. Small unobtrusive bows hiding construction seams. Straps are slightly thick but feel proportional to the bra. There is a small decorative ribbon on the front side of the strap, roughly 8cm/3in long. Hardware is beige, matching the overall colour. The beige is pretty neutral and should suit a good variation of Caucasian skintones.

Overall a bra win, a comfy and simple everyday bra to wear under light clothing.

    Hasn't set fit

For the last few years, I've been wearing Ewa Michalak almost exclusively, specifically BM models in 80GG. The Lupoline 2027 in 75J has a similar fit in the cups but is tighter in the band, meaning I probably should have gotten an 80I. Because of this tightness, I haven't worn it for a significant period of time and probably won't until I find my extenders. [Update: I tried it anyway, and after about a half hour, the band relaxed and was perfectly comfortable throughout the day.] I selected this bra due to its similarity in construction the EM's BM, but also its resemblance to Comexim Juliette. It has beige trim, rather than pale pink like the Juliette, and is made of lace, but the lace does have a somewhat geometric pattern rather than a floral one. The construction seems fairly sturdy and there are no loose threads.

    75H

    Didn't fit

I am sooo not the Lupoline expert, but I'm still going to give you my thoughts. Tried this on mid-day and I have not taken it off: it's comfy! Now, are all Lupoline bras like this, or just this one (this was one of their more expensive styles), I'm not sure b/c this is only my second Lupoline. I've been interested to try out the brand since I read about it buuuut I'm a little confused re: sizing. Following their size chart online https://esklep.lupoline.pl/content/6-jak-sie-mierzyc (you will need google translate) it puts me in this size, 75H, with 77cm underbust and 102 cm bust.

Previously, I tried ... a Lupoline bra last year in size 70J EU and that was too tight in the band and too big in the cups, which is why I tried going up a band size (note: I like a very tight band!) and down a cup size, too. There's still a bit of space at the top of each cup, so I think this brand is quite "upper fullness friendly" I would say I have average root height, this is probably a decent brand for people to try who have taller roots and/or upper fullness - at least this style. To be fair, I'm not sure if every bra is cut the same though. I'm not sure if I could size down to 75G though, I think the cup would be too small for my larger side.

As the day progressed, I took my measurements again. Now my bust measurement is 104 cm and my underbust is 78 cm (great, I gained centimeters). I did eat a salty lunch! So, perhaps this is just water retention? Anyway, as the day progressed, the cups fit better. I thought at first, I will need to do a tiny alteration - just take the top of the cups in a centimeter or so. Now I'm not sure if I need to alter it, at the least the top of the cups on my larger side seem to fit better as the day progressed, there's still space on the smaller cup.

Cup shape: not as immediately projected as Ewa Michalak BM or my Gorsenia Manila bra, there is some space btwn the underwire & my IMF. That being said the cups are comfy!! So, it's not an issue for me. The cup shape is pointy, not Madonna-Blonde-Ambition-tour-pointy, but I think this bra is more pointy than most of my other bras. A similar pointy bra is Gorsenia Amaro (at least it looks pointy on me!).

Band: tight!! Which is good b/c that means I can break it in and it will last a while, fingers crossed. This is a darker bra, so I'm not sure if the lighter colours (because of the dye) are not as tight as this. To be fair, a 78cm underbust measurement would put me up to an 80 band in Lupoline, according to their size chart. Also, the band has "sticks" on the side (side boning), they don't bother me at all.

Cup construction: 2 layers, the inner layer is black mesh and the outer layer is navy blue stretch lace. 3-part balconette: like I said before, the cups are quite tall, so I think this particular style wouldn't be good for short roots, but I'm unsure if Lupoline makes other styles that are short-root appropriate (I'm assuming they do!) There is also a thin elastic on the top of the cup.

Underwires: narrow & U-shaped like Gorsenia

Overall, it's a classic good bra to wear under dark clothing. I'm unsure if I will need to take in the top of the cups a centimeter or so. I got this from Misterna.pl (online bra store/lingerie store located in Poland which ships internationally but you will need to contact them via email to arrange shipment), so I wasn't planning to return it if it didn't fit. If you're interesting in trying this brand, and you live in the US (or other places, but I don't think they ship to Canada any more) Other Eden sells Lupoline at affordable prices and has domestic returns in the US, UK, and some other European countries.

Construction: Cup consists of one layer of sheer non-stretch mesh, with a very stretchy top layer. The top is very slightly elasticated. Straps are slightly stretchy, wide-ish, with a ribbon detail. Straps are fully adjustable despite the detailing. There is soft bendy side boning, band is a sturdy power mesh. It is a full band construction but it's in several parts - The elastic in the front is less stretchy and the back area is stretchier. The hooks and eyes are three wide rows.

Fit: HUGE in cup. Definitely doesn't fit like EU 70L (UK 32HH). I would have to size down 2.5 to 3 cups so it's more similar to UK 32JJ/K. Otherwise comfortable and soft.

Look: It's all black matte mesh with a mesh overlay. I would really enjoy wearing this with dresses I would find a bit too revealing otherwise.

    It's this bra: https://sklep.lupoline.pl/product,en,3011,Model-1819,.html
I was afraid it's tall (as it looked from internet pictures) , but in reality it was shorter than Gorsenia Coco, and deeper in 70L than Coco was even in 70M. Suits my short roots and a whole lot of projection really well, and allows for plenty of immediate projection and inner fullness. The decorative detail is detouchable, so it's a very good basic bra for projected people without the detail, and turns into something more interesting with it.

HI, I'm curious about the fit of this baby doll. I'm planning on getting a bra and this is the only review for this brand. Does this fit similarly to a UK 34ff? Also, is there much room for bottom fullness?
