  1. Dart Sports Bra (LSBD)

It was SO NICE to finally wear/find a sports bra that actually FITS and stays in place! This bra did not move throughout my ten hour shift at work and neither did my boobs! lynx has their own unique sizing that I wish most sports bras would do. Lynx goes by band (1,2,3 etc.) and a S,M,L instead of cup/breast size (Sprint, Dart, Zoom). I feel sports bras are so different from regular bras that I think a sizing standard sort of like this one would be better than the band and cup size (should probably add in a "chest width" measurement and "arm hole" ... measurement as well) standard. Although they have a decent size range, it is sorely lacking for the very busty. I'm wearing the 1D(art).
I feel this bra is very similar to @Enell in looks and construction. The main difference being my Lynx does not do-up in the front. It is a pull-over with a very unique connector for the band (pictured). If it did not have this hook, the bra would be impossible to get on instead of just bit difficult.
It does not seem to use compression to keep the breasts from moving. It feels to me like it lifts and holds the breasts in place with just a bit of compression. My average breast circumference is 32" and my circumference with the bra on is about 31.5". Extremely comfortable, snug hug.
The bra is 12" from shoulder seam to bottom of band. Which is REALLY long for a bra. My @DanSkin NOW bra (http://bra.pe/XXqb/) is only 8" long and the average length of the others I own are about 10".
The un-stretched band measurement is 20" and the stretched measurement is about 28". Where the band sits on my body, I could easily take a 26 or below band.
The fabric is completely man made and quite firm with the green part 100% polyester and the white parts being 75% nylon and 25% spandex. The tag says "exclusive of trim," and the binding does not feel like either the green or the white part of the bra. The green fabric is a very tight weave with no stretch, the white fabric looks like a tight mesh-ish weave with a tiny bit of stretch and the binding has a bit more stretch than the white fabric and feels silkier and more supple. The elastic band is a super soft elastic with a fair bit of firm stretch.
Now onto the only, real con about the bra. The. Arm. Holes. I think they were designed to come straight down and then straight back to the racer back. But in reality they are just too wide, they dig into the chest trying to conform to the body. You can clearly see this in my pictures, along with the markings they left behind (which were on my arms right at the outer end of my armpit). I am hoping that the model I have is an older one and that the newer ones have a better arm hole cut!

Yikes. Such a positive review until the arm holes. Ugh. Like you, I hope the design has been updated!

Ouch, that arm hole cut. That's a worse bra sin than sliding wires. It makes my arms go numb.

Fortunately I really only started noticing this after the like 5 hour of wearing Love4Pollinators . But I could see it becoming really bad and noticeable if doing any rigorous exercising that includes the arms doing much of anything. It doesn't look the same way on the models on the site as it does on me, so fingers crossed!
I'll probably end up editing mine, but will likely message lynx and ask. Women shouldn't have to alter a bra after purchase for it to be comfortable.
How do you feel about the set up of my review? I'm trying hone in on a good structure as I would like to start a blog at some point.

    • LeProfessor I found your review easy to read and felt compelled to read it from beginning to end. :-) :-)

    Didn't fit

I am a bit torn on how I feel about this bra. The Lynx Sports Bra is toted as a lightweight, supportive sports bra for larger-breasted women. They have their own sizing system, which I found a little confusing.

The good: It fits. No quad boob. No side boob. It does keep the bouncing to a minimum. It does not have wires, so it is quite comfortable to me.

The bad: Since it is so lightweight, the bra isn't really lined. That means that all of the darts and seams are visible. I really prefer slightly padded bras; this one made me look really flat. I'm not a huge fan of the elastic band. To me, the general appearance is not very appealing and looks a little cheap. My least favorite thing is trying to put it on. The bra closes with one giant, plastic hook (like a swimsuit), but you have to either close it with your hands behind your back or ask someone to help you.

This bra is not owned any more

    • The fact that you think it looks cheap will probably not change, but as you get used to it, fastening it by yourself will probably not be hard at all :) The main thing to look for in sports bras is support and comfort, sadly style has to be pushed to the side sometimes because the sports bra industry still has a lot to learn. I for one really like the look of the Lynx sports bra but I agree with you that there should be more variety.
